2024-05-20 00:00:15I recently dined at Amour Restaurant in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant beautifully blends French cuisine with a Japanese touch, creating a unique and delightful menu. Each dish was a masterpiece, with flavors that were both sophisticated and innovative. The ambiance is incredibly romantic, perfect for a special night out. The dim lighting, elegant decor, and soft music set the perfect mood for an intimate dining experience. Moreover, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout the evening.Whether youre celebrating a special occasion or just looking for an extraordinary meal, Amour Restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

2024-02-09 19:20:24I came here with a group of friends a few weeks ago and WOW. I was so impressed.First off, the atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL. Extremely well designed space, down to the cutlery and accents on the table.Service was lovely! Very friendly and I loved their uniforms, just adds to the space in general. And now… THE FOOD. Let me lead with the fact that I’m vegan. I’ll be honest, I was not expecting much because this is a French restaurant and historically, these are restaurants I typically get a salad with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar and side of bread. Well… the bread is delicious. BUT I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they can modify their vegetarian tasting menu to be FULLY VEGAN. And wow did they commit. Every single dish I had that evening was full of flavor, innovation, and creativity. I had a few favorites— the beet tartar & the kohlrabi steak with sun choke chips are still on my mind.Overall this was a GREAT experience. If you’re vegan you will be taken care of. If you’ve got vegan friends, they will not feel left out of the experience.

2024-04-11 06:05:53This place is very cute & romantic. It was a very busy night and service was a little slow but tolerable. Unique dishes on the menu which was fun to see. The endive & fennel salad were our favorites. The lobster pasta was too salty and the very expensive sole lacked flavor. The chocolate mousse was lovely. They serve Soju & wine presently. Liquor license in the works. Only 2 bathrooms and really in the worse spot.. right in front of the kitchen. As people were waiting in line, the poor staff had to maneuver around them. There was a health fee on the bill but we asked for it to be removed and it was. Would like to come back for the summer.. their outdoor dining looks nice.

2024-05-27 16:48:00Blue prawn carpaccio was my favorite. And the cheese cake! Absolutely a great choice for date night, or friends night out. Love all the details and atmosphere, reminds me of Paris or a very dedicated doll house.

2024-03-15 03:40:00I recently dined at Amour, a charming French restaurant, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance transported me to the streets of Paris. Quentin, our server, provided impeccable service with a genuine smile and excellent recommendations. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented. The attention to detail in both the cuisine and the service truly made our dining experience memorable. I highly recommend Amour to anyone seeking an enchanting taste of France.

2024-03-16 04:57:23Such an amazing experience from the service to the food to the beautifully decorated atmosphere! Feels like you were transported into france. This was hands down one of the best meals I have had in LA. Ordered the steak tartar, carpaccio, lobster tagliatelle, and cheesecake and everything was DELICIOUS. I even got to meet the chef behind these amazing dishes! 10/10 come here for a great dining experience!

2024-02-01 18:37:02A MUST go. This place deserves extensive recognition! This was my experience…Service: From the minute I arrived to the minute I left I was treated with exceptional service. There is a nice man who opens the door to the restaurant for you. As the servers bring out dishes they give you an educated explanation of each plate, which was very helpful. They replaced my silverware between each plate. They noticed when I’d finished my bread basket and brought some more fresh bread out for me. Just lovely interactions overall.Ambience: I was mesmerized by the decor as I walked in, it was so beautiful. Such a romantic atmosphere. The people at the table sitting next to me were having frequent French dialogue with people working there and it made the environment feel like quite the authentic French experience.Food: This was my first time ever having French food and I wanted to do it right, so I’m glad this is where I came. I ordered the tasting menu and enjoyed every single item. The lobster ravioli and osetra caviar was exceptionally delicious. The Kobe beef dish melted in my mouth.Dining here was an experience! Hands down one of the nicest restaurants I have ever been to.

2024-04-19 19:24:42Brilliant French spot with a chill vibe. We came to this place when it 1st opened. Same folks as Members- restaurant/lounge with great house music on Sunset Blvd. We came back again for our 15-year anniversary a few nights ago. Again, it do not disappoint. Solid service and good food- a not cheap night though😜. Highly recommend.

2024-02-21 21:57:07I visited Amour last night and I did not know what to expect but boy was I impressed. I got the eight course tasting menu and my group also ordered the steak tartare and oysters. The first thing to note was that I could tell that each dish was carefully curated to have a medley of flavors that worked well together. My favorites were the chawanmushi with uni, steak, duck breast, and dessert which was mille feuille. The dessert was probably one of the best I’ve had. The seasoning is somewhat mild but I can tell the chef tried to highlight the taste of each ingredient.I would also like to mention that the service was excellent. Our servers were extremely attentive and were always coming around to exchange silverware, fill water, and take any orders we had. They were kind and honestly made the experience that much better.A couple things I would like to note - they do not have a full bar yet. They serve wine and soju in the cocktails so that was a bummer, but I believe they are in the midst of attaining the liquor license. And one thing I noticed that could be of improvement was that some of the dishes towards the later courses were plastic. Although it does not affect the taste of the food - for a tasting course experience I would’ve preferred they paid a bit more attention to the dinnerware. Not only because of the hefty price of the course, but also because it would’ve definitely highlighted the food even more. All in all I can see this becoming a staple in LA and I do plan on being back!

2024-03-27 04:06:02Incredible experience dining at this new spot in Weho! Every dish was so flavorful and unctuous. Sylvain was an incredible server and super knowledgeable about the menu. Will be back 100%!
