Such an AWESOME place!! I had the sliders and they were AMAZING! The atmosphere is very cool, mainly outside and dog friendly. I can see where if busy there could be long waits but to me it would be worth it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back when in the area!

Cozy fun ambiance with artisanal cooking. Great selection of drinks and unique local food options. The staff is very attentive and kind. Mostly outdoor seating and a smaller indoor seating area which is very inviting.We ordered the bratwurst for lunch and it was tasty! The fresh side options are a nice pair to the meal. If you’re a huge fan of horseradish the mustard on top of the bratwurst is bold! For me it was too much - you have to love horseradish.

My girlfriend and I, along with our two dogs made a stop here after exploring the many trials of Los Osos has to offer. We built up an appetite.Open entering we were greeted by our host - the place had a very cool vibe, he was very friendly and greeted us with a smile, he immediately offered up a water bowl to our dogs - this was b4 we had the chance to ask him if the establishment was dog friendly ✅. We were lead to the counter where we placed our orders. Tri-tip French dip, chicken salad and a couple cups of pozole + a couple glasses of wine. Seating was plentiful and comfortable but mostly outdoors. We found a table and waited for our order, both our dogs got their own seats :) The ambiance at this place is awesome; very cool art, fun and edgy decor and awesome music - we heard mostly 90’s: alt and hip hop. Rage against the machine comes to mind. The food came out quickly and with a smile. Tri-dip dip dip was insanely good and made with gluten free bread, chicken salad was on point and the pozole was hellza legit; it also came with a side of their sourdough which was extremely good.Beerwood is a wonderful establishment. Will plan another visit next time I’m in town

A super fun place in Los Osos to hang out and enjoy life. Great selection of beers. Our AirBnB host suggested this because it was a few blocks away. We visited on a Monday, which is the day that the Farmers Market is just outside the door. The dinner choices are certainly bar food but the quality of ingredients is amazing. We had a grilled cheese with chorizo and a quesadilla that used corn tortillas instead of the traditional flour ones. Both were excellent. We were jealous of the locals next to us who got the most incredible cheese/meat/fruit plate that included several of the items we recognized from the market earlier that day! If we only had room we would have ordered one.

I’m on a road trip from SF to LA and have been stopping at a ton of restaurants along the way. This spot was by far my favorite. Everything about the experience was fantastic - food, staff, atmosphere.Adding this to my list of places I would 110% return to.

My 3 sliders with grilled onions were generous and delicious so I took one home. The side was included and I chose the cup of todays special French Onion Soup. That was delicious with lots of onions and herbs, which made it taste unlike the traditional French version. Good though.Not so good was the loud hard rock...not musical and not conducive to our foursomes conversation.

This has been our families go-to spot for a nice sunset beer and meal. The staff is always nice and welcoming, and the patrons are respectful of one another. Its a small spot, but theres still enough space for friends, occasional music, kids play, and a TV.

What a fantastic spot for food in Los Osos! New favorite spot. Our food was excellent and the outdoor seating was fantastic. Could not have been better in any way.Food came out quickly and was delicious. Beer was cold and service was extremely helpful and friendly. Beerwood sums up the outdoorsy chill oceany vibe of the Baywood-Los Osos area well. The drink selection is always good, and the charcuterie and cheese boards are perfect compliments to the drinks. The food is usually pretty good, and there are often fun specials. One minor thing as a Caesar salad lover: I find their Caesar salad dressing a bit too fishy for my taste. Overall, I recommend you check out this awesome local spot!

This delightful open air restaurant has been transformed from the previous dingy bar that was here before. Tasty original food selections paired with a good selections of beers and wines in a comfortable and cozy open seating area. Service is excellent, friendly and supervised by the owners dog! We heard great things about this place and had high expectations. We had sliders, 1/2 charcuterie plate, and the sausage plate. The sliders were quite good. The charcuterie plate was disappointing. The bread was very hard and tough to eat. Both of the cheese items were hard cheeses; a soft and a hard would have been great. It would have been nice to have some sort of a spread, a honey or jam. The sausage on the sausage plate was totally dry, no juiciest whatsoever. Overall, we were disappointed.

Great place to grab a drink! And its nice sitting outside., as long as you are not in the heat of the day! Other tables were taking two umbrellas ea. and the owner did not have the curtesy to throw us some shade. — I’m sure they have other amazing dishes, my husband got the sausage and was great! Can’t say enough about the people and food! Father’s Day meal was delicious, great huge Charcuterie Plate. excellent IPA and Shira. Pup, Ama, was too sweet as were the flourless cake and giant marsh mellow covered in dark chocolate/almonds. Host was patient with my newbie deliberations, let me tast the IPA’s. Would highly recommend but I don’t want it to be known! Stay local

Ordered a grilled cheese with fruit. The fruit wasnt very fresh, and we didnt have time to eat the grilled cheese because it took so long to come out that we had to pack it to go right away. Wouldnt recommend if you have time constraints.

Very disappointed, its been two years since Ive been here and the quality has dropped drastically. Ordered two Brats and some brussel sprouts. One brat was extremely soggy, filled with oil or water. The other brat was just fine, no soggy bread, no excess oil or water. The brats come with fruit, one strawberry had dirt on it, the other was bad. The other brats orange had a hair. The brussel sprouts were extremely lack luster, the chorizo was burnt. The order was to go, but was eaten one block away at Baywood Park Pier, not enough time for the bread to become a sponge soaked mess. Writing this review is disheartening, I loved this place the first time, but there must have been a change of cooks since then. Dirty fruit, excess oil, and human contamination are factors that lead to health issues. I hope the management reviews their kitchen.

Was in town for work and we stumbled across this little place for lunch. Got the single quesadilla plate with chorizo and beans for the side. It was amazing. Completely unexpected. Also, the service was awesome. If you do end up getting this plate, make sure to add the tomatoes and arugula!

What a find in Los Osos. We happened to visit on a Monday when the farmers market was happening out front. Kind and professional staff, dog friendly, and all items we had were fresh. Did the charcuterie tray (she warned us about the size), corn quesadillas and lentil soup. We tried but failed to finish charcuterie board, but upside is we have breakfast and afternoon snack.

From the minute we sat down our waitress was giving us attitude about her not being able to see our numbers because of the way that THEY set up their tables. After we ordered it took so long for the first dish to come out and each of our plates took 10 minutes after the other to be sent out. Half of our meals were cold and my sandwich (the veggiemaker) was not tasty, I don’t recommend. By the time almost everyone had gotten and finished their food, someone in our party still hadn’t received their food and no longer wanted it because everyone was finished so she asked for a refund. The waitress rolled her eyes at us and stormed off giving us no answer. Eventually my mom and aunt went to the cash register to ask for the refund. I wasn’t inside when the conversation was happening, so I don’t know the specifics of what was said but I could see the staff yelling at my mom and aunt. Later my mom told me that they were cussing them out, saying racist remarks, and yelling in their faces. Not cool or professional and I do not recommend supporting a restaurant filled with such rude staff members. The male owner was one of two members of the staff who handled the situation with grace. His wife on the other hand was the exact opposite.

Went for a birthday celebration and was thoroughly impressed. If you’re a local, it’ll become a new hangout; if a visitor to the area, it’s worth the stop because of an eclectic menu along with some common dishes with delicious twists. Everything was fantastic. I recommend the charcuterie plate, its huge. Super dog friendly, at one point there was at least 8 dogs on the patio, with different groups, the staff were amazing with it. Will be back next weekend and probably every weekend after that.

This place seems to be struggling with identity. Either go Vegan or dont. Where are the potatoes? No fries or chips. The menu is really lacking detail as to what you are getting. My Italian sandwich contained unidentifiable meats and the oil and grease was pouring out of the sandwich. It was not edible. I found it interesting that they didnt question why the food wasnt even touched.

What can i say....after having Beerwood recommended to us by friends, it has become our #1 go-to place for a comfortable, casual, outdoor local eatery. I cannot say enough about the staff. So friendly, accomodating, but within all that, they are very professional in a very understated way. The food is amazing, the Charcuterie board not to be missed. The beers are all high end microbrews on tap and rotate regularly. Go on Monday for the Farmers Market right outside. We love this place.

Beerwood is the best! Such a wonderful addition to our community here in Baywood, we have been multiple times with not a single disappointment. We even hosted family traveling from out of state for our wedding for a lunch here, and all of our expectations were exceeded! Alex was a joy to work with on that event, and all of the staff we’ve encountered have been wonderful. We tell everyone we know that they should visit Beerwood. I also truly appreciated that they hosted the first Los Osos Pride event, Queerwood! Thank you for not only serving wonderful food and drinks, but for bringing human decency and inclusivity to our community! We love Beerwood!!

It is all dark chocolate (that they make themselves) with almonds, coconut flakes, and sea salt 😋 accompanied by a glass of Ancient Peaks Cabernet, (local wine) and wow, a party in the mouth. Fantastic restaurant to eat with great variety. My family of five went for dinner and we ordered a cheese board with fruit. The portion was large and we all ate rich and varied. We also ordered a meat and vegetable soup that was INCREDIBLE with just the right amount of spiciness. Delicious with the bread that is served and the orange.The atmosphere is very nice, very cool and jovial. If you doubt, I recommend it to be in a good environment with a very good vibe. The person in charge was very attentive and friendly.We left happy that we ended up at that restaurant for dinner.
