It will blow your mind hiw good quality are the meats they are serving and the taste and smells are intoxicating. Why all good things ha e to be so far from my home .

Gyu Kaku Had Great Beef And Ramen I Ordered The Ramen My Cousins Would Want Some And The Beef Was Good Staff Is Nice And Fast If You Order Round 2 Of Beef It Will Take Long About 20 Minutes Or Less But The Staff Had Mistaken The Order Of Beef And It Took 7 Minutes For A Other Order It Was Fresh And Juicy I Ordered The Ramen But I Hate Sesame Seed But It’s Fine This Was Worth The Price.

The price goes crazy in my point of view. They don’t have all-you-can-eat in the weekend, so I ordered three dishes of beef plus tofu and rice. I am not full after finishing these because the portion is too small. But the price went up to 50$ even if I am using happy hour discount. The beef is ok, but the tofu is too salty for me. I will not come again in the weekends.

I always eat out or get food delivered. Last Sunday night here was the worst and most shocking dining out experience of my life!- Nobody every came to take our order for the longest time. We eventually had to stop one of the waiters waiting by.- They brought out Strawberry Lemonade but never our beer until I asked for it again- Never liked the grilled or cared to replace it- Never brought our 2nd salad that we had ordered. Even after second time of asking lol- Brought the wrong steak 3 times!- Never checked on us to see if everything is okay or if we need something else- And even made a mistake and didn’t charge us a couple items at the endI’ve been thinking for a few days why this location is so careless and poorly managed?!

Disappointing. Went for lunch a few times bc I love the food - however, it takes ages for a server to get to you even when no one is in the restaurant. They never oil the burner- I have to ask every time. This time was particularly disappointing i ordered the garlic rice for the first time but it doesn’t come in the hot sizzling bowl like at other locations and they put salad with ginger dressing in the bowl with the rice which tasted really bad on the rice. The lunch comes with a salad dépaysé I’m not sure why they would do this except to cover lack or portion or to cover a mistake. There’s no system to serving here, they bring out mains before you have your apps, they takes ages to come to the table to ask if you’re ok or need something, and it seems servers are only capable of helping one table at a time. Last time I come here. Torrance really is the best location.

We got there in time for our reservation. We were shown to our table, but no one served us for a long while. Only after complaining did someone take our order. After a considerable wait and inquiring, the only response we received from everyone was that they were not serving. Our meats were served first without the sides, and our drinks were served after we had finished dinner. Very poor service. But hey, the bill came on time.

Food is great, service is the only issue. It’s not consistent and takes a while for a fork or server to come. The staff is very friendly though. This place is incredible

Had a booking for 4 people. Turned up with 2 young teenagers, a 9 years old and my spouse. They came up with a health a safety reason for not fitting 5 people around a large 4 people table to turn us away. Children very sad but they did not care. We would have fitted in very easily but they probably figured they could make more money with 4 grown up adults….

This makes such a perfect date night! They are doing reservations so I would highly recommend doing that since waiting for a table can take a really, REALLY long time.They have a pre-set meal for two for about $70 that comes with a good assortment of meats (mainly beef and some pork) as well as miso soup, rice, and salad. It ends with smores too that is just a great way to end the feast! Its slightly different compared to KBBQ so you wont get fermented sides, but worth it for a different experience. The marinades are a bit more nuanced imo.They arent really doing Happy Hour or All You Can Eat from when we went, but hopefully with progress in handling COVID it will be back to normal soon. Their HH deals are really top notch so looking forward to that coming back!!

The service was really bad. We were told that they only had one server tonight. If so, why couldnt they cancel our reservation.At some point our server was wearing a tank top that barely covered his upper body.
