Haidilao Hotpot San Diego in San Diego

Bit on the pricier side for hotpot but the quality and service is definitely there. The side food buffet is $8pp but they had rambutans! We ended up paying $70pp. Walk in wait was about an hour for dinner. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance. They were also running a happy hour special as well as a late night special (after 9pm 30% off!)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Haidilao Hot Pot San Diego, and I cant say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent customer service. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable, perfect for a cozy meal with friends or family. The food itself is just amazing! Talk about the quality for both food and the service itself! Haidilao Hot Pot is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fantastic hot pot dining experience. I have had lots of different hot pots but Haidilao by far is the best!

Decent services when dining in the famous franchise. The dancing noodles and face changing performance like what in Sichuan Opera. The snack bar is great with snacks and also a soft ice cream machine. Recommend the quarter Pot as one could try four favors at a time. My favorite one is the Golden Chicken Soup Base. The Angus Beef Tongue, the Angus Chick Flap and the Beef Tendon are great while the shrimp paste tofu/Mushrooms/vegetables are all necessary items for a full Hotpot. The Beef Tripe is in a large size. Do remember to take the ice cream afterwards. One thing to mention is that the staff are too busy, might the experience not be as good as the serving experience in other franchise stores.

The waiter, Kevin I believed, made our night memorable. He handled everything with care, and kept asking we were doing great.👍👍Food is fresh, side dishes and dipping sauces are great. I love their ice 🍨 cream setting.That night, after 9pm, has a 31% off promotion, which I have never seen. It is a steal.If I come back to town, this place is definitely a must go.

It’s my first time coming to San Diego Location, I was shocked by environment inside. Super clean, and everything was organized. Perhaps during peak hour it’s little bit busy but they well trained the employee make sure the customer was happy by the time they leave.Especially for Jeremey, I think he is the manager of this location?Spend time to explains the menu and make sure we are well served.Double confirming if we have got our dishes, and when we asked for check he even brought us little fairy Wands.Which is delight part of our dining experiences.Good to go San Diego location

I found a fly in my soup.My mom could not digest the food and could not sleep the whole night whenever she thought about fly in the soup that she ate.I could not digest the food and barely ate anything for the next day.Although the front manager said sorry a lots, the kitchen manager who should be responsible for this did not even come out to apologize.Whatever, regardless of how delicious the food is, or how good the service is. I do not expect to pay high price to eat at a place that cook the soup with flies.Totally disgusting!

06-18-23Decided to celebrate Father’s Day here and made reservation online two days before for 2:45pm. The day of, got a text from the hostess while we were a few steps from the restaurant, arrived and checked in. Five minutes later, got seated and our waiter, Eugene, came by and brought us aprons. After we placed our order on the Ziosk, Eugene double checked our items.Ordered: see pic of receiptSoup broth were flavorful. My most favorite item that we ordered was the Lava Shrimp Balls, crunchy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. The inside looks identical as in China, with the food being quite similar, the price is quite hefty even as a student (47$) considering we already got a discount. But food was obviously really good :)

I have been here more than 5 times and I still love it. I highly recomnend the dancing noodles and getting 4 soup bases. If you will order meat, go with the lamb because it creates a nice flavor on the soup bases. Their seafood also taste good, they have a variety of selections. The sauce bar is also a nice feature that they have. They added some items in the menu, which is so much better than before. This restaurant also provided most of the things you need, such as scrunchies, lens cleaner, wireless charger, extra plates, toothpaste, toothbrush, and even mouthwash.

I wish I had taken pictures of the food, but i was too focused on eating. This place was so good. The meat melted in your mouth, the service was phenomenal, the flavors were to die for.It is a little bit on the pricey side for hot pot, but its so worth it. You have to try it at least once.Also, our server, Peter, was 10/10. I wish all restaurant servers were like him.also, it was my wifes birthday when we went so they gave us a little special happy birthday
