2023-12-03 07:17:28My recent visit to this restaurant with my mother turned out to be a pleasantly enjoyable experience. The setting of the place immediately struck us with its welcoming and comfortable ambiance, making it a nice spot for a relaxed meal. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the soba. While it wasnt exceptionally extraordinary, it was decently prepared, offering a satisfactory taste that adhered to the traditional flavors. The soba had a good texture, and the accompanying ingredients complemented it well, making for a fulfilling meal. What adds to the charm of this place is its unpretentious and friendly atmosphere. It feels like a spot where you can unwind and enjoy a simple, good meal without any over-the-top expectations. The staff were courteous and attentive, contributing positively to our dining experience. In conclusion, if youre in the mood for some decent soba in a pleasant environment, this restaurant is worth a visit. Its a place I would recommend, especially for those who appreciate a laid-back dining experience with good, straightforward food.

2022-05-01 17:50:44This is a very good authentic Japanese soba and udon place. They have many options like sashimi, chirashi bowl, and sushi as well. The sushi and chirashi bowl is very standard and nothing exciting about. There are many other places in Torrance/Gardena have better sashimi and sushi. However, this is one of the best places to have decent Japanese soba and udon. This place is very small and the price is on the higher side.Quick tips: Dont overwhelm with other thing on the menu or new dishes on the wall. Just focus on ordering soba and udon.

2021-11-08 03:29:11This place is great! My sister loves coming here so whenever shes in town, this is one of the places we go.I ordered the udon with vegetable tempura. I always get this order. It tastes great, the vegetables are yummy, and it comes with rice (below the vegetable tempura). Also! You can get tempura flakes and add it into your udon. My sisters and I love doing that. Plus, its free! The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is always great. Everyones just having a good time with food food 😊

2023-06-05 00:26:11Wow! I would say this is the best Soba I have had in California and the Tempura was amazing too. My Japanese partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this meal and would go back in a heartbeat. Since Covid it seems like many of my favorite Japanese places have gone down in quality but this place is legit. I am pretty strict on Japanese food too! Give this place a shot

2020-11-27 21:39:30They have wonderful soba here both hot and cold. As well as some amazingly light tempura and that is not often a description given out to tempura. I highly recommend this place and cant wait to go again and again and again.Update: I’ve been again and again and this place never disappoints. I haven’t found better tempura or soba. The cold soba (zaru ) is my favorite.

2022-11-11 03:46:05I was excited to try this restaurant. Perhaps it would have been better during the day, I came the hour before it closed. They microwaved the eel and it was probably the worst eel I’ve ever had. Not sure why this place has 4.5 stars. Wouldn’t recommend. The chirashi bowl my partner had was strongly mediocre as well.
