Kin Sushi in Laguna Hills

Looked this place up on Yelp, saw the ratings and had to try it out, being from the Central Valley I have friends that are sushi owners and have taught me a thing or two. This is a must stop, great atmosphere, quick and friendly service, for a busy Friday night we were treated like it wasn’t busy, food was fantastic from the Garlic Edamame, Salmon Collar, Kin Roll, Toro, Albacore Jalapeño Roll, Hungry Roll, Large Sweet Shrimp to the Baked Mussels. Pictures don’t lie!

I love the quality of the sushi at this restaurant. The Fish is very fresh 100%worth trying.

Best sushi place in the area! Take a seat at the bar and ask for Lucky or Ono what’s special fish of the day. Our experience here was supreme. Food coming out fast and fresh. Service is on par. Check came out with surprising low than what we expect! Highly recommend:)

Plays bait and switch on $2.50 draft beers that they advertise with two huge banners.Menu shows $4.50. She said prices are 4.50 and they are taking down banners.Waitress wanted to argue the point. Came back said we will honor on Kirrin only. I said I get one or two Sapporo on draft usually... she said no on Sapporo but then another waitress jumped in andsaid it would be okay... at that point I was over it wanted to leave because of feeling uncomfortable having to argue in the first few minutes of being there over not wanting to honor advertisement at first.Its a WEEK later and I went to see why the same banners are up... you could read the rest on Yelp.He told me if customers complain then he charges the 2.50 for nowI only have one or two imagine the surprise of having six to eight and paying double the price.... he says some people dont say anything because they figure its only for happy hour I said it doesnt say that on the banner and he agreed

We came an hour before closing time and they treated us awesome. Great service and amazingly fresh SUSHI! The all you can eat for $25 is just a bonus!

Great spot. Fresh and all waitress are very attentive. My once a week spot. Fresh fish., hot sake, and cold beer. All you need.

The serving size is the most ridiculous Ive ever seen. A flea would be angry 😠Never buy there again. They charge you for a bucket and serve you a spoon.

If you are looking for good quality affordable cut rolls and sashimi, kin sushi has what you need. Service is relatively fast even during peak hours. Try the hot green tea while you wait. Its pretty darn good. Try the kin roll, its their signature roll with a wide assortment of fish inside. Delicious

Dontnow where these other reviewers ate but I just had a hungry roll and the mixed tempura, take out, I live 5 minutes away. the rice on the roll was mushy and for all the ingredients in the roll, crab, shrimp, eel, chrunchy bits, it had very little flavor and the texture was just bad. The shrimp tempura was good but the vegetable tempura was tastless, this was low quality sushi at market price.

My daughter told me about this place . We came together. Everything is great from the atmosphere to the food and especially the service. Everyone make it even lovelier. Definitely will be a usual spot . Thank u
