They have a lot of anime and manga products. If you like Japanese pop-culture, you should go there.

When I’m in town I stop by this one or the one in Los Angeles. This is where I get all my Manga. Love this place. It’s inside the mitsuwa so I also get a chance to get my favorite Japanese snacks.

Nicely located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace at the Del Amo Fashion Center mall where theres also a Book Off branch and various Japan-oriented stores, however its much smaller than the branch in LAs Little Tokyo and therefore has a considerably more limited selection of items. If the Little Tokyo Kinokuniya is like Barnes and Noble, the Torrance one is more like a Waldenbooks (if you remember them before they sadly went bankrupt :( ) Definitely worth a visit for fans of Japanese goods and literature if youre in the area but just temper your expectations.

I always like the selection they have here.Very nice to remind me of Japan.Good staff very friendly and helpful.Well kept and cared for.Welcoming and friendly environment.Has a great selection of items from stationary to literary items.I always like the greeting cards they have.Always greeted with a smile.Located inside the new mitsuwa while youre there stop off for a meal at the food court.Great selection of childrens books as well.

They have a variety of stationery, Japanese books/magazines, and pens. My teenage daughter loves visiting this place!

The atmosphere is chill and the employees are wonderfully patient. If this place was a library, this store would be prefect.However, its not a library; its a buisness. And this book store seems to be in the buisness of letting Papa Kinokuniya keep this place in life support because the employees dont know how to make a sale.Since August, their card reader has been inconsistent at best and has frequently not worked. This is not an issue for any other establishment at this Mitsuwa. But one type of unique incompetence tied to this store for having no work around for anyone with a credit card. They dont even have an analogue method of inputing card numbers into their register! Its an infuriating to know that these folks have not created a work around for their own register after 4 months of buisness.To anyone who must come here, just know the cash is your best bet because I have never seen their card reader work.

Good place to buy Japanese stationery. It has the all major brands of notebooks (Kokuyo campus, Maruman, Midori MD, Tomoe River Paper, etc)

Good source of Japanese goods!my wife loves this place with passion.I see lots of Comic books that can attract lot of people, and lots of cute goods that will attract even more people!
