Id give more stars if I could, I cant recommend Le Croissant enough. My partner and I have been going regularly for about 2 1/2 years, and it never disappoints. Affordable with good portions and the food is so good. There are ALWAYS cute dogs on the patio which is a bonus. The best part of eating here is the staff/service. Always the same people and you couldnt find friendlier people or service if you tried. They refill coffee faster than I can drink it which is exactly how it should be. If youre on the hunt for the perfect brunch spot this is it!

Stopped by here with my elderly parents. Being the first time here we asked the server for a recommendation. She replied, “items with eggs”. We all had various omelets. Really great breakfast. Was a great find.

Been coming here since I was a kid. My dad used to take me on his way to work. He was a local electrician for 40 years. The waitresses used to flirt with him shamelessly. The food was great. Im pleased to say that nothing has changed.

Struggled to pick a breakfast place that was affordable and looked good. So glad we chose here! It was super busy(great sign) but the staff was very nice and fast. Food was incredible! The croissants were the biggest I’ve ever seen. Lattes and hot chocolate come in these huge pots so if you get one for your child, be ready for the sugar rush. Of all the places in Marin, I highly recommend coming here and enjoying the food and service. Came on a Saturday so that explains the crowd.

Surprisingly wonderful breakfast. Don’t let the name fool you, there are plenty of delicious Mexican breakfast favorites including huevos rancheros and breakfast burritos. Friendly and attentive staff ensured our coffee was always topped off. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing! Best breakfast I’ve had since I moved to California. The place is super cozy and the food is delicious. Well prepared and extremely friendly staff. Favorite part was they brought the lattes in a large pot to pour from with mugs! I couldn’t recommend more!

Kind of tucked away, but worth the search, friendly staff, tasty food, had chicken noodle soup and it was full of vegetables and a perfectly done turkey burger, daughter had a huge nicoise salad with real fresh tuna not canned. Google says American food but it’s got a European twist. Comfortable seating tucked away on the left, counter and small seating to right and outside tables when weather permits. Highly recommend

Havent had breakfast/brunch since before Pandemic. Awesome food and exceptional service! Great to see Deanna again!!Returned 8/26/2023. Deanna has left. Professional and friendly staff still. Food now needs work. Chef change as well?? Ordered special corned beef etc omlette, excited! Came very dry and almost inedible. BF ordered steak and eggs which was surprisingly tender and med rare. Asked for crispy country potatoes and they came deep fried. What? Both dishes were under seasoned and rather disappointing. Usually a go-to place for excellent diner-type breakfasts, dog friendly.Bring Deanna back to manage the kitchen as well.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast spot with bakery treats that are as sinful as they are delightful! You cant go wrong with any breakfast dish (all Ive had), if you decide on the burrito, bring a hefty appetite or a friend! Fast and friendly is the name of the game here! Really cute classic diner spot and we enjoyed our meal but our server couldve been better. Barely serviced us and upon checkout, which is a self checkout at the front by the way, she was asking us to tell her the amount we would like to tip first prior to authorizing payment. She was clearly expecting a nice tip. She only checked on us once and didnt fill our water until we asked. Not any kind of service to rave about or tip 15-20%. We left tipping $2 and obviously she wasnt happy. Will sadly probably not be back due to this bizarre payment strategy which demands patrons to tip more than theyre probably comfortable!

Pretty good, but I definitely felt a bit rushed sitting at the bar. Food was pretty average diner food in terms of quality. The selection was really good, menu looked super tasty, but I just got a basic bagel and cream cheese, bacon, and avocado and tea. One of my bacon slices was burned, and the cream cheese was just a slice off the block so it didnt attach to both halves of the bagel. Prices were pretty steep... I left 20 dollars poorer. Would give them another chance if Im in the area, but definitely not my favorite.

A friendly local diner with fresh fare. The breakfast burrito will feed you for the day. The corned beef Bennie is awesome.Pastries are made fresh every morning. Tucked into a busy industrial area in the canal is this fun little place. There may be a wait during the weekend as this is a small place with a good reputation. The menu is excellent with a variety of choices and specials. The service has always been relatively quick. These are the highlights, but after 10+ visits the quality of the food is good, not great. And the prices, which are high for a breakfast place, reflect the supply/demand of the space within the restaurant rather than the tastiness of the food. Ive had omelettes, eggs, French toast... again, all were good but not wow. Bring cash, no credit cards allowed which is a major issue if you didnt know that up front given the prices.

One incident, I will not return.To the point, I asked the employee that left the cash register and proceeded to grab my slice of bread with an up gloved hand.Can you please get me another slice either after washing your hands or putting on gloves.She talked about me to her co workers in Spanish. Those who know me know that I typically only write restaurant reviews when the experience was either horrible, or outstanding. I will make a slight exception in writing this review. While the experience wasnt horrible, it did leave MUCH to be desired...enough that I will NOT be returning.Starting with the service, it was good, but not great. One thing that left me wondering was why the server who started serving me handed me off to the other server. Its not as of the first went on break...it was more like (based on further observation) she only wanted to wait on her regulars (which, by the way, she spent a LOT of time talking with).As for the food, it was good, but (like the service) not great. I ordered the California omelette. While the potatoes were mostly hot, the omelette was barely warm. Even the cheese indicated that it must have been sitting there for a few minutes, waiting for the potatoes and/or English muffin. Speaking of the English muffin, the edges were burnt...Im not talking dark brown...Im talking black, crispy, crunchy.Before my food arrived, I was looking over the rear of the menu, deciding on lunch possibilities (should I return). I had also initially planned on ordering a chocolate croissant to go. However, due to the service problem, as well as the problem in food temperature, I decided to not bother with the chocolate croissant, and (as mentioned earlier) that I wouldnt be returning.

I’d like to write a good review but our experience was so disappointing. We left our inside table for other patrons and sat at an outside table to just finish our conversation. There were 2 other parties and probably 6 or 7 open tables. One of the servers came out and asked us to leave because she needed the table for the lunch rush. (There was no one there!). I tried calling the restaurant to let them know what happened but the manager told the person on the phone to say she wasn’t there. I wish they’d take more interest in customer service.

I give it 5 stars based on its price to value ratio. Its not an uppity CA restaurant - instead, there a genuine down home feeling, with delicious croissants and breakfast food items to match! I had a croissant, eggs, hash browns, and a pancake. It was exactly what I was looking for and would recommend this place to anybody.

Ive tried the breakfast menu here twice and the first time was the best. I had there country fried steak with eggs, potatoes and toast. It was almost too much to eat and it was all good. They second time was a standard two egg breakfast with bacon, hash browns and toast. The bacon and eggs were fine, but the hash browns were not crispy at all and the toast was missing. So the second breakfast was a bit of a let down. I know they can do better, so Ill give them another try and remember to check the bag before I go.

I asked for over easy eggs. I received over medium.I was not notified of no credit cards allowedOverpriced. Just the side of salsa is $1 for a small cup of low flavor costco packaged salsa. The only food that was good was the meat, portions are low and flavor is low while cost is difficult.No name on waiter, waiter did not ask for my name. When waiter checked on me she said it while already walking away.No smiles, random yelling to cooks.Other customers attempted to start conversations with waiters, pretty much ignored.

My new favorite breakfast place! They make the best omelette, bacon and sandwiches around. The parking is a bit hokey as it is attached to the end of a large commercial building (on the side facing the street) but it is a pleasant seating area and friendly staff in addition to the great food.

I had the most delicious almond pastry from Le Croissant and it was huge too! I cut it into quarters and shared it with three very happy coworkers. I highly recommend going there.Even though I knew right where they are located it was still a little hard to spot. If you take someone with you to navigate it will help. I love this place. Try the soup. Its homemade. No condensed crap from a can here. Try the jellies and jams. Theyre homemade. No Welchs high fructose corn syrup slop here. Muffins? Yep. If I could give them zero stars I would.I eat out breakfast 6 days a week, we opened a new cabinet company right down the street from this place. I have gone in 3 times in recent months and today was literally threatened by the staff becouse I wanted to make a complaint. The food is Mediocre, at best, the service is lacking and no one is warring gloves or hair nets while preparing food. For Christ sakes there’s two pictures of the staff not eating any of this stuff behind the counter in their web site. when did it become a privilege to spend my money, what happened to people being happy to have my money and have me return to their business. Literally Theresa and Johnny’s in San Rafael And the hummingbird in fairfax are way better and way better prices. Hell Ihop is better food with better prices and that old school mentality where they are happy to see you even if you are a return costumer.My co worker went in this morning and got 2 breakfast Barrettos and he got sick from his.This expierence has made me Lugubrious and I will tell everyone not To go here and I will be calling the better business burrow and the health department.I have been receiving prank called ever time I edit this review. I have gone to Le Croissant for over 25 years. Going out to eat is about both the food and the service. In this case the food was terrific as expected, but service we received this morning from Deanna was so terrible that it merits posting this review. I ordered an omelette with changes (fruit as opposed to potatoes, egg whites) for which I expected an additional charge. however, I also asked for some ingredient substitutions that were rung up as a la carte additions and substantially increased the cost of the dish. In and of itself, this is not a big deal, but the dismissiveness with which I was treated when I brought this to Deannas attention (and by dismissiveness I mean waving a hand at me and walking away) was stunning. Regardless of whether a customer is right or wrong, the customer deserves to be treated with a basic level of respect.
