2023-10-29 03:42:46This place is just fantastic. If it didnt have vegan in the name I would have thought it was a trick. I had the bbq beef bowl and my partner had the sumo sushi burrito and holyyy moly. So so good, we will definitely be back. Portions are reasonable, and even though its a little more expensive than Id usually pay for a rice bowl, it was totally worth it.There is not really any inside seating (like maybe 6 people can eat inside) but there is outdoor dining in the alleyway, which is really pretty.Parking is easy with a parking garage right around the corner.

2023-09-23 16:54:35This is my favorite restaurant! My pick of places to eat on my birthday which means a lot! The meat over fries are my favorite. The sauces are incredible and I’ve never been disappointed by the protein choice. Their chicken, beef, and cauliflower are all equally amazing! You can’t go wrong

2023-06-18 22:39:14So amazing! Really the staff is super nice, that was number one for me. Followed by the food being so incredible! I couldn’t decide what to order because everything sounded so good! I got the super saiyan crunch roll which is gluten free and obviously vegan and wow! So good! The weather was really nice so I decided to sit in Kendall Alley right around the corner and it was so nice and quiet. I came on a Sunday.

2023-07-21 16:06:27One of the most delicious food Ive had! We went to Naughty Vegan twice while we were in Pasadena, and if I lived here, Id probably go every other day 🤤 Totally recommend it! One thing I would suggest, is less single use objects, at least for the dine in 🙏🌍

2023-06-15 20:23:15While planning a quick day trip to Pasadena, I stumbled on this cool, tiny & cute Vegan restaurant. After visiting the Norton Museum, my sister, mom, and I decided to eat dinner here. It didnt disappoint. We ordered through their website, and it only took them about 15 minutes to make our sushi. I ordered the Rengoku Crisp Rice with the Super Saiyan Crunch Roll, which both were good (their drinks are eccentric, so we opted out and bought some next door). The restaurant is pretty small, but theres plenty or space outdoors to the right in the alley by the building (make sure to bring a sweater or a jacket if you dine in the alley, it gets chilly). The staff was super helpful & sweet, and I truly appreciated it, sooo check it out!

2022-08-05 21:14:19Cool little place, food was fast and accurate! The sushi was okay, but only had two of the rolls so might have just ordered the wrong item. The Cauli fries were fantastic, cauliflower was extremely crispy, in a great way, but not over cooked in the middle. Still had bite to it. Overall a great stop for some great vegan food in Pasadena. Many more vegan options as well! Hope you all enjoy as well

2023-12-09 07:54:44We don’t live close but I wish we did. As I mission back up to NorCal by car I am still perusing the menu and dreaming of returning and either exploring more or reordering all items we ordered because I am hooked and hoping they open a location in Malibu (please!?). My husband and I ordered four items to try and also have for leftovers since we were in town for work, and each one was somehow more delicious than the next - because it was so delicious, we didn’t take photos, but the photos available on their online menu taken by Naughty Vegan look EXACTLY like what we ordered even though we did takeaway. First item: Super S2 roll - crunchy, amazing, sold me on the jackfruit, very well done. I had to stop myself because there were three more things coming. I loved the way the panko tempura exterior stayed crunchy even the next day. Second: Surf and Turf Bowl. O M G. The softest, tastiest, perfectly marinated seitan and the most satisfying, crunchiest bite of “shrimp” that reminded me of the parts I loved about eating shrimp as a kid without all the parts I hated about eating shrimp! Utter perfection. It even had the orange stripes of cooked shrimp within their perfect konjac proprietary blend which I thought was a beautifully artistic touch. Top quality. I really missed beef bowls and this bowl filled a gaping void in my stomach heart. The pickled carrots (delicious) and broccoli and rice - yum. Third, the crab cakes - my husband said he usually doesn’t like crab cakes but this one (and I quote) “is REALLY GOOD”. Fourth - and the one we basically fought over: Teriyaki Chicken Banh Mi. Wow. This is where I lose my punctuation capabilities. - The bread is so soft. The daikon is crunchy tangy sweet. The perfect amount of mayo and cilantro and the “chicken” is perfectly marinated like everything else. AND Mac salad!? I love me a plate lunch. Best mac salad and I am very picky about them normally. We were lucky to come in early and have one of the only tables. We spent about $75+ but it fed the two of us for dinner, lunch the next day and I was grateful for some mac salad snack in our cooler for the road. I envy everyone who works in the area who can have this place for lunch. To everyone at Naughty Vegan meticulously prepping all this food and seasoning it all to perfection, thank you. We had a great time before and after being there.

2022-04-12 05:05:10Needed a vegan spot for lunch and this place popped up. The food was ready quickly which was great for my short lunch. I got the vegan “bacon musubi” and an amazing crunchy roll (forgot the name) and both were delicious. I love all the textures in the crunchy roll, and the sauces really complimented the roll and the musubi. Highly recommend! 😀

2022-03-11 19:54:17Impressed! Super tasty rolls and such a good variety in the menu. The rolls were perfectly crafted. We got the Naruto roll which is deep fried! The rice was a bit thick but overall really good. The Super Sayin crunch roll is actually pretty tasty, it has crispy onions on top and spicy majo! It’s amazingly good, perhaps my best vegan roll ever. The super s2 roll was soo good as well, citrusy but we’ll balanced. I’m coming back and I recommend it!
