2023-07-23 20:09:16Been looking for a good Chinese buffet and of course standards aren’t always high at these kind of places. I saw that some of the reviews said they were really rude here but honestly, as someone who has traveled all across Asia, it’s pretty normal for restaurants not to be super nice or what not to you. It’s not authentic and in Asia they don’t work for tips because they don’t accept free money like that. So when I face rudeness at an Asian restaurant is doesn’t bother me as long as the food is good. The spread at this place had so much! They had a hibachi grill, the sushi selection was so fresh! Actually all the seafood was fresh! The rolls too! The chicken wings were nice and crisp! Perfect! The meats were okay I thought the octopus was over cooked a bit but still good. And the desert was delicious! They all tasted super high quality. The marshmallow I dipped in the chocolate fountain was magical! So delicious and fun! Their ice cream was also really good with a great variety of topping!10 out of 10 will be back!

2023-06-24 22:06:55This buffet was great! It was very busy when we went, but they got us a table almost right away. They have a great variety of food, including a hibachi area. Food kept coming in hot and well prepared. The waiters were on top of keeping clean and being there to refill drinks. Would definitely come back!

2023-10-11 03:53:50Loved it here, fish and sushi were very good. A couple of dishes even reminded me of being in Nara, Japan. The service and atmosphere were docked a star, purely because it was so busy that it would have been impossible for 5 stars.

2023-12-07 20:32:18Great establishment for big family events. The food is delicious and the plates are a bit on the smaller size to minimize the wasting of food. The service is good as you will require a server to get your drinks. The food is self-service. The atmosphere is average, as the main focus is food. I recommend Pan Asia Buffet.

2023-09-29 13:46:16Went here on Thursday noonish. Its the lunch time. I was told by my friend about his visit and I wanted to compare to Fasia in Escondido. The restaurant is very much bigger and wider. The seats are more varied. As far as food goes I find this restaurant has good salad options, great Hibachi and good sushi choice ( raw tuna). The soup are 3 choices and the main menu is slightly different than Fasia. The price is also a few dollars more. Overall considering that there is limited AUCE options and high prices for eating out, its still a great option and worth a visit. Enjoy 😊

2022-06-26 07:51:23Food: 3.5/5Service and Setting: 3/5Value: 3/5I remember when Pan Asia first opened and it was so hyped. The prices were really good and the food was better quality than other buffets we had. Eating here almost five years later, I will confirm that the food is pretty much the same as when I first tried it. The servers are not nice, but they are efficient and will help you with whatever you need. I sort of don’t appreciate that they didn’t tell me that drinks cost extra as they just ask what I wanted to drink, but for $1.99 I do not feel robbed. The overall buffet is clean but the open sauces have me worried a bit. Warning about the hibachi station, I saw a worker pick up a piece of beansprout that fell on the counter and straight up put it back in the container. Overall, I think that it is still worth it if you come during a weekday lunch. Anything else, I would say no. Overall, the food is decent but selection is small. What they do is a step up from other buffets for sure. Because of the amount of foods, I have arranged them from best to worst for your ease of reading! The ratings are done on a buffet scale, not a normal scale.Stuffed Mushroom: 5/5This is this buffet’s crowned jewel. Super savory, umami blast with a good amount of meaty filling. The main flavor is onion and the topping of mayo and cheese really heighten the rich flavors of this dish. I literally come here for this.Baked Shrimp: 5/5This is also one of my favorites but is sadly a dinner only item. The shrimps are well cleaned and cooked with a savory mayo cheese topping. I would say that it is a little on the bland side, but I much prefer this than eating a sodium bomb. Clean and savory with a touch of luxury.Cream Cheese Wontons: 5/5Can these be a little crispier, have some crab, and maybe more flavor? Yes, but something about these simple wontons are addicting and will make you think about Pan Asia in the middle of the night. Smooth, slightly sweet and tart, and delicious, a must get.Fried Chicken Wings: 4.5/5These are my dad’s favorite and super good. Not overly battered, generally very crispy, and well seasoned. To me they taste like an upgraded version of supermarket wings with a touch of Chinese seasoning.Mushroom Chicken: 4/5Super solid with a rich mushroomy sauce. I wish that they would put more chicken in it as it is hard to fish it out of the tray. Good flavor overall but a touch too oily.Fried Banana: 3.5/5This is a fried Thai banana I think? It was not too burned and had a nice cooked “green” banana taste. A good detour for the middle of your meal. Gives me Brazilian barbecue vibes.Baked Salmon: 3.5/5A Chinese buffet staple. This is pretty savory and they don’t load on the salt which is nice. They use a mayo topping to season the fish and it tastes good, sort of generally savory. The fish that I ate was a tad overcooked and dry, but not bad.Fried Softshell Crabs: 3/5This one disappointed me a lot. A dinner only item that is prized by all dinner feasters. To me, it was very bland and had parts that were soggy/tasted like uncooked flour, especially in the joints. You can’t eat just the meat without loading up on batter and shell.Coconut Shrimp: 3/5This is like a toned down honey walnut shrimp. No real coconut flavor and is overall bland. Try to get this when it is fresh or it becomes soggy very quickly.Grilled Squid: 3/5This was okay, it just taste super old. If it is fresh, I remember it being better. It has a sort sambal/sriracha flavor.Salmon Sashimi: 2.5/5The salmon is not cut very well so there are a lot of sinews that get stuck in your teeth. It definitely does not taste the freshest and might get you sick. I would say that the quality is a solid step below AYCE sushi. Avoid if you are sensitive to bad fish.Baked Scallop: 2/5This one is meh. No scallop, just imitation crab and corn. I would skip.

2023-04-03 02:41:13Its been a while since the last time. Good food, good selection. Hibachi is nice. Most likely will visit again. It was crowded when I visited Saturday. The only thing is the table is too closed to each other, good thing they moved to the other side and nobody was sitting next to me. A+++++

2023-11-19 17:29:04Visited on a Sunday. It was a madhouse and chaotic, BUT the food was actually pretty good! I went in with low expectations, but they were mostly exceeded. Huge selection, most everything was very fresh given how busy it was, did I mention chaotic? If in the area again, Id stop by, never again on a Sunday, though. Lol

2023-10-01 19:28:28Ive been here twice. Its always packed. I think its pretty good. My daughter had fun with the chocolate fountain and the marshmallows. Everything was freshly made. Nothing was overdone, or dry. The desserts were okay. My favorite was the fresh fruit and the puddings.
