I LOVE going here across the street after having some famous Hainan Chicken from Savoy Kitchen. For any traditional Chinese dessert lover, Phoenix offers a variety of drinks, cold/hot soups, pastries, and food. Their teas are refreshing and many of the flavors are great. I always pick up extra bottles for the road. It was my first time trying the Peach Gelatin Wild Snow Fungus Lotus Seed and it was very yummy. I love durian so I tried the Kaya Rolls. The durian was good, but the cake-ish wrap with coconut flakes didn’t taste good to me. Will be back next time I’m in LA!

Good balanced menu... has little bit of everything for everyone to find something they like. Dessert menu is great! The beef noodle soup is wonderful except for the egg noodles (HK style)... it’ll be better with white noodles, at least have the option would be great. Service was not great... o well, it’s expected at Asian restaurants.

They were very rushed with our order and didnt really like being asked questions, even though we were confused because they repeated a wrong but similar dessert name during ordering to-go. And ofc they gave us a completely different dessert that wasnt even related to our order. It was very annoying. Besides bad customer service, the desserts really didnt taste that well either. They certainly dont pass my standards for Cantonese desserts. Will not ever go back to this place for sure.

Wish we had this dessert chain in the bay area; we need something like this up here. The dessert quality if good and their herbal drinks are always refreshing. Their mochi rolls are delicious along with their fruit dessert.Honestly I didnt come cross anything I didnt like and another plus is they close pretty late for the late night cravings.

Yes, it is a chain..but this Phoenix is a great little place to stop and have well, dessert. It isnt as big as some other locations, but I find it consistently has better stock of popular desserts. Additionally, the service is great - the ladies that run the shop are friendly and helpful.

All time favorite dessert item here: Coconut Tapioca with Mango and Sago! Soooo good! Simple but amazing.Friendly staff!Theyve got coolers full of cool bottled teas.One such, Resishi mushroom drink sweetened with dates & rock sugar!Theyve always got new stuff to try also.Last time we got the flavored egg tarts! Not very eggy in flavor but it was the first time Ive had egg tarts that werent yellow! (Flavors incl matcha, milk tea, taro, and strawberry).

One of older Phoenix dessert location. There are so many Chinese dessert place in the area, i feel like no point coming here unless I must eat in the area and grave for their dessert and food. Phoenix do best for their variety of sweet mochi.

I like the food but this particular locations customer service was not great. It felt like I was being rushed to order, and while I was checking out, the cashier kept shoving different products in my face to get me to add it to my order.Ive been to numerous Phoenix bakeries, and this was the dirtiest by far.

The food and drinks here are pretty good. Parking is often terrible. One time, someone who appeared to be the manager was loudly berating one of the employees for a good five minutes. Super awkward.
