The poke here is ok, not great. Brown rice was very dry and proportioned too much compared to other ingredients. I paid $22+ for the 5 scoops (of protein), tax and 15% tip.

Twice I’ve been turned away after driving 20 minutes to this spot. First time they said they close at 8:30pm even though online it clearly says 9pm . Today I arrived at 8:00pm exactly and while she was taking an order from two other guests, she refused to take my order because “policy is policy “ and they close at 8pm ?! This was truly disappointing and frustrating. Won’t be risking the drive ever again .

Been going to this place for quite a while now. Food is nice and fresh; the ladies at the counter are very attentive and helpful. They had a new item, purple rice, on their menu and happily obliged a request for a taste. Their Spam musubi is simple but tasty. Their new layout from their renovation makes it feel more comfortable and spacious for dine in. Ill keep coming back for more.

I just wanted to write a quick review on my delivery order from Poki Yaki. The service provided was efficient and my medium poke bowl didnt lack in presentation being that it came early. Both quality and quantity were quite present in my medium poke bowl.++Very satisfied with my protein choices (tuna, spicy tuna & salmon) as the fish seemed very fresh was really fresh and well-proportioned. Definitely provided more fish than what their local competitors offer. ++

To me, the quality of a poke spot is based on the quality of fish and the sauces and this place crushes both!Also super generous with the portions. Avocado? Free! Don’t want seaweed salad? Here’s an extra scoop of crab meat!I always make it a point to come here when I’m in the area and it never disappoints. Hopefully they never change!

Had a Poke bowl last night, and easily ordered online for Pickup using Google Maps/Postmates. The bowls are very hearty and delicious. The crab meat was super yummy, and I ordered another scoop. However, for the price, I felt like the scoop sizes are too small. I have been to other poke places where they are more generous with their portion sizes. These small little cubes of fish are definitely not enough for me, and I think that I can see why others have complained.

I like this place and love their chicken plate. I sometimes order extra meat depending on my appetite. I am happy about the new poke bowl menu item. I am going to come back and order mine with salad bay scallops, polo sauce, spicy mayo with green onions. YUMMY!

My new favorite go to. Staff here is incredibly friendly and upbeat. They remember the little details of how we order every time we go in.And the poke I could just eat endlessly, which is good because they give you PLENTY of food, especially for how cheap it is. Lots of options, lots of toppings. I cant get enough of the albacore and octopus.

This place is a toss up, most of the time its really good, but some of the staff really skimp on how much fish they put it and just overload on sauce and onions. I dont want to pay $10 for a bowl thats 85% rice and 10% sauce. But the times that they do put a decent amount make for a great poke bowl, and the fish is always fresh.

Small mom and pop poke joint with generous scoops of fish and unique sauce offerings.This is one of my favorite poke places to eat because of the sauces! The creamy Hawaiian sauce is bomb. It is the perfect mix of sweet, savory, and creamy goodness. I usually get it on the side to dip my fish in.The portions here are generous and the fish is sliced thicker than most poke places Ive been to. Service is always friendly which is why I think there is always a line. Almost like a little neighborhood cult following cause everyone seems to be a local regular.They have other food offerings that are cooked such as chicken teriyaki if someone in your group doesnt eat raw.

Yummy! A little hidden gem at the corner of La Palma and Beach Blvd. I love supporting local restaurants. It is not difficult to support this local restaurant. Healthy, wide selection of meats and fresh! Got the large bowl and it was filling. Super sweet server, too!

This place is obviously one of the finest place to eat in the neighborhood. Always when I come there I am exceedingly happy. They manage their very high level service and the topmost level of meals they offer. You always win with this restaurant. Highly recommended.

I love love love Poke and am so glad that I discovered Poki Yaki nearby so I dont have to drive all the way to Anaheim to get a good bowl.I like that the bowls are more or less all-inclusive with crabmeat, seaweed, sesame - the whole shebang. If you want avocado, thats really the only extra thing you have to pay for. Sure beats paying by topping!The fish was all really fresh and with the mix of toppings and different sauces, I was a happy camper!Get the large. Its totally worth the extra dollar and youll actually be full. Service was friendly although the two guys kept making inside jokes to each other which was weird. Whatever. Will def be back here for my next poke fix!

Good food for a good price. I was deterred from here originally by a previous post but after a recommendation from a friend I finally tried it. Many lunches since i still come here once a week. Sauce is made from scratch and the chicken is hearty. Expect to spend 5-9 depending on your appetite or if you get a drink, my suggestion is to go to coffee code next door and get one of their shakes with a chicken bowl. ^_^ enjoi

Super good! I got the large and it was huge, I could have gone with the regular and been fine. Its got a yummy mix of good fish. Then you can mix in a sause or a couple sause. They also have chow mein and teriyaki stuff which was great for my 4 year old since she was a little weirded out about the fish (more for me)

Worse food, I will never go TokyoTeriyaki . I ordered a combo bowl,however not much meats and not enough rice. The meat were dry, I ate it was the meat chew and not fresh. The meat had sat few hours before served. I complained that food are not fresh or not hot. I wanna &$$# money back. They refused. The owner is not nice and their workers not friendly. Stink service. I recommend you go to Golden Bowl down street is next to Panda Express. Golden Bowl is better taste fresh food and friendly. Dont go Tokyo Teriyaki.

I was looking for a nice and local poke spot in Buena Park and Im lucky to come across this place. Not to extraordinary about the quality but its very convenient instead of driving down PCH for some poke. I recommend trying their half rice and sald with albacore, tuna, and octopus with ponzu sauce! A perfect bite and almost guilt free:)
