The Garden Mediterranean Restaurant & Cafe in Santa Maria

Great little get-a-way! The ambience is wonderful. Beautiful covered outdoor patio adds to the experience. The staff has always been super attentive. Oh yeah, the food is delicious😁. One of the better falafel Ive had. Crispy on the outside, moist in the inside. The meat sambousek is seasoned wonderfully, definite good starter.Again, this place seems like an oasis getaway. Different than everything else around it, which is nice. Would seem like a nice date night, but we drag our two kids with us 🙄

This place had incredible food, service, and a lovely atmosphere. We dined outdoors while the weather was still warm during the week of Thanksgiving. Our server was fantastic, and she was very accommodating and helpful. We arrived right after lunch had ended, so we took our time dining and enjoying the lush greenery surrounding us. I would definitely recommend.

The food here is very tasty.. usually i don’t find any taste for the food in normal restaurants.. but here each bite has a special taste.. also the place is very quiet and very nice atmosphere..its worth to drive 4 hours just to have a great meal like this ..

This was a great find on my out of town visiting Santa Maria.A beautiful decor with table linens and cloth napkins made an elegant interior.The outside seating was surrounded by beautiful greenery and a wall of beautiful plants.I loved the super light falafel it was such a pleasant surprise, I usually get a denser falafel in my hometown.Seating for many, or an intimate place, it would be a wonderful place for a family meal or celebration.I had a vegetarian meal and was pleased. Next visit Ill try the chicken.Great parking and across the street from the DMV, just off the main drag.

My go-to spot for fresh, high-quality Mediterranean food! Ive celebrated my birthday here, had client lunches, and ordered take out many times. Besides the amazing food, and friendly staff. I love the ambiance in the outdoor seating area. It feels like youre on vacation, not in Santa María. The green garden, water fixtures and shade are amazing. Definitely a little slice of paradise. Will definitely return!

Great place to dine, highly recommended!You can taste the homemade quality. Especially with the Dolmades, or stuffed Wine Leaves 🤩.Oh and amazingly friendly staff! Thanks for having us.

The food was really good here and the atmosphere is very peaceful for Santa Maria. Seems like they took pride in their food and the dessert was unique and authentic. What I did not like is that the pictures on the main menu seemed to present more food than what you actually got. I spent over $100 on food for two ppl and still left hungry. The tea I order was just plain Lipton and was not offered a refill at any time. On top of that I’m pretty sure I spent 2 hours there, not because I wanted to but because service lagged. Oh and the waiter overcharged me on one of the items I ordered. Was not much but how do you not remember the prices at a restaurant you are serving. I’ve been to high end restaurants in the past and still got enough food to fill my stomach. I do not regret trying and it was good for a one time thing but probably will not return. It just was not worth it.

The food is very authentic and fresh definitely the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had I 💯 recommend this place the staff is very professional and the environment is very welcoming! Me and my party enjoyed and will definitely be back!

I would give it 7 stars if I could. My husband and I went there for the first time on my birthay and we enjoyed every single bite of the food . I recommend everything in the menu as it is prepared with passion to the perfection. The staff was so welcoming and professional and the owner was extremely nice. They surprised me with a beautiful birthday cake with the complicity of my husband 😅. We loved the place and we will definitely go back.
