Great new farm to table style restaurant in Capitola Village. Food and service were good, were well portioned but their sides were mainly purées (not always a fan). Would recommended ordering their salads as appetizer. Drink menu is limited, and cocktails were small.

The cooks here have good culinary sense. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable and the servers are affable. The ingredient combinations are truly wonderful, from the pork and apple to the butternut squash and Mole sauce. We will be back.

Amazing food. Hidden gem. Great date night dinner. We visit Monterey Bay Area annually for decades and try new restaurants each year. Trestles is phenomenal and we were so pleasantly surprised how good the food was — it’s a small enough place that can keep tight control over their food quality and staff. Amazing tastes, variety, attentive and friendly employees. Loved the limited menu = delicious food that is thoughtfully made. Everything is cooked in open kitchen. Great wine selections as well and the wine “cocktails” were also fun — loved the Wine take on a Moscow Mule. Will be coming back for sure.

Wanted to try this place out for some time and finally had the opportunity to do so.Keeping it short bc there is not much to say other than this place has excellent food (great quality), excellent service (forgot our waitress’ name but she was really cute), and great drinks given they do not have hard alcohol. I got their version of a margarita which was made out of wine I believe. All of us agreed our entrees were delish. I had the porkchop, our friend had the steak, and my hubby had the salmon, although he originally ordered the halibut, but they were out. They offered just one dessert, but it was simple and delish. I mean who doesn’t like ice cream over a perfectly baked brownie.Loved everything about this place and would visit again.Side note: we walked from our condo, but parking looks like it could be a challenge. All worth it though; food was really good and service above and beyond.

Very impressive first outing. Great wine selection, including one of my favorite rose sparklers. One of the tastiest steak preparations I’ve had in quite some time, and all the small plates were equally great. They definitely need to expand the dessert menu, can’t say the single offering, brownie à la mode, was better than just fine. Will definitely be coming back soon!

We first visited Trestles last year and we felt in love with their food. For our anniversary this year, we decided to go back. It was a great experience, as always. We had the ahi tuna poke as an appetizer, and it was just marvelous. For our entrees, we both had the market fish, and that day it was scallops. IT WAS DIVINE! We added the butter lettuce salad as a side and it was a perfect combination. Lovely staff, beautiful ambiance. Cannot wait to come back!!

A hidden gem in the area. Upscale with a chill atmosphere. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to interact with. We sat outside which was just perfect. The food was amazing. Started with pork belly app, had the scallops and New York strip entrees and finished with the Chilean brownie and cheesecake. Cant wait to come back.

Food was fine, had some odd flavors and combinations, wasn’t really that good. $50 for a plate in which when I finish it I felt all I had was a pretentious snack is ridiculous. Restaurant was way too loud and cramped, the atmosphere was mostly either rich young kids or old people. Only people that seemed stoked about being there was everyone at the bar downing wine. Parking was abysmal in Capitola village so show up early for your reservation. For the price and quality/amount of food along with how many nearby amazing restaurants there are, I really cannot in good consciousness recommend this place. Maybe go to show off and that’s about it. Staff was nice but super young.

Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. My favorites were the scallops with pork belly and their crispy poke tacos. The whole crew gave off a great vibe and the executive chef, Nick, was rad!

Whoa, this place is remarkable. They called me hours in advance to say I could get an earlier seating, if I wanted it. The service was absolutely on point: friendly, helpful, funny, and really added to the experience. Then theres the food, also spot on. The drinks were great. All courses, app, main, and dessert were all memorable. Ill 100% return.
