2023-12-03 23:00:11Absolutely amazing food. Nice and spicy, lots and lots of vegetarian as well as meat options, amazing sauces and broths, quick service and delicious food. Highly recommend.A little pricey though (so subtracting a star), but mostly worth it!

2023-09-24 04:20:33Different setup than normal restaurant. It’s like yogurt land of Chinese hot pot. You first grab a bowl, pick from a wide selection of meat, meatballs, veggies and noodles. Then you bring it to the cashier and weigh your bowl, and get a bracelet that has your order number. You then will be seated by the host, and then you will be getting the sauce at the sauce bar while waiting for your food. Our soup noodles and dry noodles arrive after 15-20 mins wait when it’s a busy Friday night. Not bad. When you are done, the waitress will bring you your bill, and you pay at the table.I like it there are lots of selection. And the place is clean, and staff are friendly and helpful. The taste is great! Ordered one dry noodle and one with mild bone broth. Like them both.

2023-07-09 02:40:26We went there on Saturday before 6pm, waited less than 10 minutes. 4 -5 different soup flavor bases and lots of choices on ingredients. Overall is a good place for weekend hangout, simple, fast, tasty but not too greasy.

2023-10-27 01:41:46This place was very busy when we arrived. Fortunately my brother speaks Mandarin and we were able to get seated right away. This place is the real deal hot pot with two big open refrigerated cases full of all kinds of meat, veg, mushroom, seaweed, quail egg... I picked the bone stock broth over my selection of meat and veg. It was so delicious. Highly recommend.

2023-12-07 04:22:26I went here maybe four times. It was full every time. Lots of fresh ingredients. You can easily go over board on choosing all the selections. Lots of seafood fresh and frozen. Fresh vegetables. I got the bone broth medium, which was the perfect amount of spice and numbing. Its a very efficient way of choosing your ingredients and giving it to the counter for them to cook. There is a self-serve sauce bar that you can go to. It had the basic sauces. Not a lot. I waited maybe 10 minutes for my food to arrive. The staff is very attentive for water refills and giving extra napkins. They give the bill right about when you are done eating, and you have to go back to the counter to pay. All in all, it was a very nice experience as always.

2023-07-06 03:55:46I recently dined in and I must say, it was an experience I wont soon forget—and not for the right reasons. My evening took a revolting turn when I discovered a worm in my dish. Its hard to put into words just how repulsive and unacceptable this was. When I brought the issue to the attention of the waiter, they assured me that the fee for that particular dish would be waived. While I appreciated their acknowledgment of the problem, it was the owners response that truly disappointed me. Instead of taking full responsibility for the kitchens negligence, the owner only offered a mere 20 percent off my bill. This response was incredibly underwhelming and did not adequately address the gravity of the situation.Finding a worm in my food not only ruined my appetite but also shattered my confidence in the restaurants hygiene standards. I expected a sincere apology and a swift resolution to make amends, but the owners offer fell far short of what was necessary to rectify the situation. It felt like a dismissive gesture that failed to demonstrate the accountability and commitment to customer satisfaction that one would expect from a reputable establishment. As a customer, I believe it is important to be treated with respect, especially when such a significant lapse in food safety occurs. The owners response not only showed a lack of concern for their customers well-being but also a disregard for maintaining the reputation of their restaurant.Given the appalling incident and the inadequate response, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The combination of poor service, unsanitary conditions, and a disappointing resolution left me deeply unsatisfied. I sincerely hope that the management of this establishment takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary changes to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

2022-12-14 20:42:19Very long line. We went there out of curiosity. 11:30am already had people waiting. I ordered the classic bone soup w medium spicy. Got two orders (lunch). We paid $50 including tips. It’s only for experience. It’s the first malatang in this area. Taste is only average. Simple version of hot pot. I prefer Tasty Pot (about the same price range) or Happy Lamp hot pot. Only once for this store.

2022-12-11 21:19:55Choose your own ingredients and have it served in a wonderful soup (or spicy stir fry style). A different way to enjoy food hotpot-style. Quick service and lots of ingredients to choose from. Would recommend coming here right when it opens or hopping onto the Yelp waitlist at least an hour before. This place gets super busy!

2023-01-15 04:19:54It was such a nice experience to be able to pick out your own food . All the food was super fresh, we especially loved the mild bone broth. We got there when there was not much people but by the time we left the place was packed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend trying this place out.
