This is our spot with my girlfriends due to its availability and nice interiors. However, not an impressive place for food. It’s very with good price but mediocre quality . If you know what I mean… options are very trendy items on market but the tastes are just so so … you can get a meat ball for $10 but poorly seasoned and with a lot of unnecessary ingredients. The chocolate flourless cake was dry and dull. Compared to Urth Caffe one block away, Zinc has to work on a bit more on their food quality to level up the game.The drinks tho, are nice and hearty! So I would recommend to come here for an afternoon chill for some cocktails.The interiors are very nice to be in. Just seems to be too quiet. A large space with few people in around peak hours. 🫠 The staff seemed idle and disengaged maybe due to the low traffic…I would recommend them to have some really delicious signature dishes with interesting events to draw more people to come.

It was my first time here. Food was great, lots of menus. But it was a little confusing how this place functions, and staffs (people who take order) weren’t extremely friendly/helpful in figuring it out.

Zinc café and market place is SO TERRIFIC! I eat here all the time, and I am shocked that this place is not packed w people like Urth.Urth cafe is just down the block and there are people waiting in line there. Don’t ask me why because once you eat at Zinc you realize how much better their food is in comparison to Urth. Yes, Urth makes the best coffee drinks, but if you’re looking for clean, delicious, healthy, fresh food… Zinc is the winner!!!The menu is filled with an excellent selection of items. I love the breakfast burrito bowl and the huevos rancheros. Their salads are fabulous too! They have fresh daily baked goods, popovers, cookies cake.The staff couldn’t be friendlier, and they let you make substitutions when ordering.Zinc has a gorgeous outdoor patio in front on Melrose and another patio in back. The patios are beautiful. You feel like you’re in Napa California.. great place to grab a glass of wine and some guacamole and chips or a cheese platter.I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!The food is a 10.The servers and the atmosphere is a 10!It’s by far my most favorite restaurant for delicious food. Often I go twice in a day!Even their bathrooms are beautiful and clean.Bottom line=EXCELLENT SPOT! You will not be disappointed.Thank you Zinc for producing quality food at reasonable prices and great service.

Vegetarian restaurant with great lunch grab and go. The breakfast burrito is also good. Nice outdoor seating as well

Made a quick pit stop while waiting for the bus to hollywood bowl, which departs from the Design Center. Staff are friendly and pleasant. I plan on returning for a bite to eat. Thank you!

Stop in for a quick bite, not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. Food selection is cafeteria style but with many healthy options as well as sandwiches, soups, etc... Nice outdoor front facing terrace is complemented by an even larger, quiet and nicely shaded terrace in the back. Orders are made at the cash and then a device is provided that allows the server to track your table location and bring you your meal...nice touch. All around the food was very good and worth the visit. Enjoy.

Fell in love with Zinc at the Arts District location years ago. Glad to see them open in Weho (in the former Le Pain Quotidien space on Melrose). Delicious vegetarian meals and snacks. Great coffee. The mushroom cheeseburger and ginger cookie are revelations. Outdoor seating is right on the street but elevated—like everything about the experience here. Beautiful addition to Weho.

Jesus and Sergio made out visit extra special by making us feel welcome since the minute we walked in. Jesus and Sergio are very professional, caring and very efficient. Zinc Cafe has definitely gained a couple of new customers due to Jesus and Sergio’s dedication. Jesus and Sergio are definitely a great asset to the Zinc Cafe and Market team!
