The pho tasted pretty good. Had a lot inside the dac biet and was nice to see some beef balls in it. Doesnt usually happen at a pho place since those are sometimes extra. The memory lane banh mi tasted good with flavor but skimping out on the meat. Was barely in it.Service seemed fine until we were halfway through our meal and a server dropped the check down. They kept checking to see if we paid yet, 6 times...I was even planning on ordering to go but we felt rushed. Wouldnt be coming back here to that alone.

Havent been here for a while now and Im so glad to see they made renovations to the place. Now the place is more modern and fresh.Id suggest they remove the window tint to allow patrons to see the inside of the restaurant to make it more appealing and more welcoming.

Love their cold noodles here. Very traditional menu. Their menu is basic and to the point, which I love. The pho is good as well. Good broth base and their meats are fresh. Ive had their seafood pho, and I cant complain. Spring rolls and peanut sauce are always amazing. Try it out, and for dessert, you can grab a pastry from 85° bakery next door.

Stopped by here around lunch time on our way back from Vegas. The place wasn’t completely packed, but definitely had a constant flow of customers coming and going. The pho and rice plate had great flavors and we left feeling full and happy…and the ice coffee was good too!

The best pho me and the lady have had in the area thus far. The service was very quick. Within 10 minutes of sitting down, we were eating our appetizer and main dish. As far as the food, everything was delicious. The spring rolls with the sauce are a winner! And the fried wontons are a must!! The pho hit the spot!! I killed the whole bowl and well, my lady had to pack hers up to finish later at home. Overall, We really appreciated the service and the food was great. Very Clean place, clean restrooms. Just a really nice vibe coming from this awesome restaurant.

They have remodeled during the pandemic. It looks very nice and clean now. They even got new plates and bowls. It makes the food a lot more presentable. My son loves the beef broth. The Vietnamese sandwich is really good too.

Weve been coming to this Vietnamese joint for years. Hands down best pho broth in town. If youre in the mood for pho, order their combination pho and you wont regret it. Theyve upgraded their layout and aesthetics and their menu as well. They now offer different banh mi which I intend to try. Give them a visit and be pleasantly amazed.

I have been looking for a place to enjoy spring rolls and a vermicelli bowl with little luck. I loved the food at 1 Pho Noodle & Grill!! The spring rolls were fresh and not overloaded with mint (which I have found to common in California). The meat and veggies in the vermicelli bowl were fresh and flavorful. This will be my go to place to satisfy a craving!

I came here shortly after they opened on a Saturday. It was moderately busy and the workers were friendly and multitasking. My friend order the combo vermicelli plate and a sour sop drink and I was curious about their pho and bahn mi so I ordered both! Without too much detail, I will just say it all was really good. Im so happy I found this place because their pork is really good. I havent found a place I liked since my favorite long time restaurant owner moved back home. It wasnt dry, chewy, or overly sweet or salty. The only thing missing in the bahn mi was jalapenos but thats a simple request. Cant wait to go back!

Food was good. Service not so much, plus our table was dirty. We walked in and waited to be seated. This older lady was busy talking to another man. She finally came over sat us at a dirty table threw the menus down and then left to go back to talk to the man again. She finally came back over brought us water and then took our order which she got wrong. There were 2 other young ladies working that were very friendly and good. Plus the restaurant only has a B rating, probably wont eat there again.

Ordered food, was told would be ready in 15 minutes. Got a drink from next door, came back and waited 10 minutes, looking at food sitting on counter. Finally one of the staff goes to the back and grabs basil and bean sprouts and finally gives us our food. Soup was fine, sandwich was fine too, but their lacking service makes me unlikely to return. IF you find yourself here, you may need to get in their face to get your food, I wish I had instead of looking at my food for as long as I had to. Parking can be an issue, entrance and counter are accessible, seating will be tight.

The Bun dish I had at #1 Pho Noodle and Grill is many things, but mainly (for me at least) it is about balance. Bun (Vietnamese for noodle) is a rather simple and elegant dish made up of cold vermicelli noodles, grilled beef (or chicken, or pork), crispy eggroll, crunchy vegetables, and a sauce. Like I said before, this dish is perfectly balanced. The warm beef and eggroll is perfectly balanced with the cool noodles and cold vegetables. The softness of the beef and noodles balances the crunch of the eggroll and vegetables. There are so many different examples of balance in Bun, I cant get to it all. But I hope you get the point. Even the sauce which unites all the elements is a combination of salty, sweet, savory, and so on. When eating Bun nothings over powers the other and everything work harmoniously together. Of all the Vietnamese dishes out there, I have to admit, Ive eaten more Pho and Banh mi. But this doesnt mean I like Bun less. I actually like Bun more eating it only on special occasions. Give this place and Bun a try.

Just moved to the city and want to support local businesses. Tried this pho place even with a B grade, but was disappointed. My wife and I ordered two #9 pho, egg rolls and spring rolls. I told the server that mine was missing the meatballs then he told me it could be at the bottom of the bowl, I showed him there are none then he told me because they ran out and did not offer any other meat choices in replacement. Either he did not know what was going on or just made up excuses. As I started to eat then I realized it was missing the rare steak slices. Only and last time here, many other pho places not much further than here. Other than all that, the food was not bad.

Ever since pho ha became less family friendly and only care about money and not taking care of their old regular customer or keeping up their standard, Pho#1 has become our local favorite. Some of the crew from Pho Ha moved here to because they were overworked at Ha. Best viet sandwich (banh mi) ive ever had. Great price, very friendly crew and accommodating. You dont have to wait 2 hrs to eat this is how vietnamese joint should be. It s a simple family food for christ-sake.

Spent 2 months in Vietnam recently. Came in for a Banh Mi (Sandwich) - Not available until after 6 PM today he says. This was my first experience with Vietnamese food and it was better than expected. The soup broth needed a little more flavor but the fried rice and egg rolls were delicious. The service is excellent with servers constantly refilling drinks and quickly getting anything you need. The restaurant was quite crowded the entire time we were there, but that is just a sign of good service and food. There were 2 of us and we shared one order of fried rice, egg rolls and beef Pho and couldnt finish it all. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I liked it because the Beef Combo Large Bowl is one of the best in the area at Rank # 2. Overall, the space got a bit packed and I waited awhile to be seated but it is okay. Highly recommend if you want to get good Pho and tasty egg rolls.

Wanted to have dinner tonight. came at 635pm and was told they closed at 930pm but i was not allowed to dine in. only to-go was offered to me even though they close in 3 hours. i should add that there were two open tables and about 4 other parties dining in. i don’t mind having to wait for a table but i was flat out denied dine-in service. yes i’m wearing a mask, yes i’m complying with state and local mandates. i was denied dine-in service for no reason at all.

Tried this place and wont return. They started at us when we walked in. Didnt say a word until my husband asked if we just sat ourselves. Hello is always a good greeting. Ordered the beef soup and waitress asked what size. We asked what the sizes were and she just kept repeating $1 more our beef was hard and chewy and the egg rolls we ordered were not great. We would not return for service or food.

Ordered takeout in the morning. Ended up waiting 40 mins for my food, but I couldve saved about 10-15mins had the employee given when it came out of the kitchen. The employee purposely made me wait because he was dealing with another takeout customer that the kitchen messed up on the order. When this customer left and I noticed the employee was trying to give me the food that came out early and was just sitting on the counter, I asked him I dont understand why you didnt give me the food right away when it came out?. His reply was I didnt want the other customer to complain because he had been waiting long. Not sure who waited longer, because this guy had no clue how long I waited. Also that tells me that I am a lesser important customer, when I have been a long time customer. Nobody ordered what I ordered, if my food came out, give it to me!! Whats worse was they were busy making excuses not apologizing. I never got a sincere apology nor any attempt by the management to make the customer happy. All I had were hard noodles from the long wait. I dont think I will come here again..

Had a craving for Pho and our favorite place, Pho Saigon, is closed on Tuesdays so I thought Id give this place a try. Walked in and noticed that the space was contemporary, warm and clean. Waitress yelled out TWO!!!. I said yes and she just jerked her head toward a table and walked away. Menus were brought quickly by a lady behind the counter and shortly after the waitress came to take our order. She didnt write anything down and no surprise was back three minutes later to get it again.Pho arrived very quickly and although the portion seemed small there was a decent amount of meat, just very light on the broth and noodles. Also ordered more sprouts, basil and lime as there was barely enough for one person and we were two. The spring rolls come three per order with a very mediocre thin and dark hoisin/peanut sauce. two of the rolls had no pork in them as is customary. None of them had the chive like green. The water there has such an obvious bad taste I am really surprised they dont run it through a filter system. It even overpowers the green tea I ordered. Refills are very slow.The waitress seemed rushed which was no surprise as the busboy/cook and a lady I assumed is the owner or management were busy bringing supplies in and putting them away during the middle of lunch service.Overall it is a pleasant space and the Pho is good but overpriced for the portion. They obviously put money into the ambiance but the two flat panel Samsungs just hung there, like black shiny paintings, turned off.If I happen to be at Home Depot and Im in the mood Id probably go back, but I wouldnt make a trip for it because the service is so abrupt and unwelcoming and the food I had just so-so.

Good price for a regular size bowl of pho, 6.50$. I usually pay around $7.00 for a regular size of Pho in the inland empire. Portion size or maybe just bowl size was a little on the smaller side compared to other pho shops near by. Generous amount of steak slices which was also fresh. I ordered #11. Rare steak slices and beef tendons. Soft melt in your mouth tendons. Decent broth not too salty, didnt have a strong star anise flavor. Noodles werent over cooked. Good garnishes. The basil leaves, jalapeño peppers, bean sprouts and lime wedges were all fresh and not wilted. Generous amount of garnishes. Friendly to the point service . A tiny bit of a language barrier which makes the Pho shop feel a little more authentic. Not a fan of the rolling carts that are used to dispose of uneaten food and dishes.

Food is so-so (broth is great) however I have never been charged an extra $4 dollars for extra veggies any where else Ive gone, in the end I dont think it was worth that...instead I should have just had veggie instead of rare steak cause the steak was chewy and didnt look like it was rare when it was placed in the bowl.The service was also so-so. The girl there was too busy on her phone to get my check that I had to ask at the end (BTW I was the only person in the restaurant).Probably wont go back and will just find another pho location because of this.
