First time here, was recommended by a local friend there is a new soft opening XLB restaurant. Food are delicious, will definitely come back to try other food
Family reunion because we already tried there dumplings and noodles several times. Fresh, in-hoise made dumplings. Very tasty, fresh and always wary welcomed by owner and staff!
We went to the Ashley Furniture store nearby and decided to get something to eat after. We looked on Google Maps for restaurants nearby and saw this one and decided to give it a try. Boy am I happy we did.From the outside, the restaurant looks like it would be small, but its actually pretty big. Inside was clean and had quite a few tables. They had just opened when we got there, so there werent too many people.Since it was our first time, we decided to order several dishes to try. My wife and I really enjoyed their marinated cucumber. It could have been a little more chilled (not room temperature) for out taste, but still very good flavor. Their spicy pork & shrimp won tons, the pan-fried pork and corn siu mai, and pork and shrimp Xiao Long Bao were all pretty tasty.My one small complaint would be that when we arrived, it did take a while until someone came to take our order. After that, the service definitely improved. The waiter even gave us tips on how to eat some of dishes we ordered.Overall, definitely a positive experience and I would recommend giving this place a try.
The food is good. But l have to say the service is kind of awful, especially one waitress there. She rolled her eyes on us. Hope the owner of the place can see it.
Excellent and outstanding place for us, 4 families, to hangout and have some great food. Service was outstanding friendly and accommodating. Will come back again for sure.

We were greeted and seated right away. Menu was brought out a few minutes later. Felt like a good 10-15 minutes before a waitress came back. Didnt ask us what wed like to drink, so we ordered our drinks and food at the same time.We ordered honey walnut shrimp, char siu bao and wonton noodle soup. The honey walnut shrimp came out first. Maybe 10 minutes later the bao, and probably 10 minutes after that the wonton soup. We also had 2 white rice bowls.Honey walnut shrimp 8/10 good sauce, shrimp wasnt overly crunchy, with whole pieces of walnut on top of green leaf lettuceChar siu bao 7/10, tasty bao, wish there was more meat and sauce in the buns. Server burned my husband with the steam when she opened the lid because she set it right next to his arm when she put it on the tableWonton soup 6/10, tasted like cilantro more than anything else.We werent asked if we wanted refills until we were finished eating. The servers are nice and polite but could follow up with the tables a little more frequently. Atmosphere was great and relaxing music. Probably wont be back though because the food wasnt amazing. Giving 5 stars because it is a soft opening and they seem to be shorthanded.
First time trying, it was delicious!!! The food was quick and yummy, and the prices are very affordable.
Had the house special fried rice and the pan fried pork and leek bun. All the food was very good. Definitely recommend to others!!
Food is okay not very flavorful
Excellent dumplings, some delicious Chinese food dishes. A few same recipes as Dragon 99, the previous restaurant. I love the crystal shrimp dumplings.
There veggie steam buns are so good, loved with my order of fried rice and noodles. Max also brought great service.
Most disgusting food I’ve ever had. The food was bland yet also salty. Could not eat the food and wound up leaving almost all of it at the table.
This is 100% authentic. Its the soft opening so they are working things out. No more long drive for good noodles or dumplings.
Got the steamed dumplings but the portions seem small for that you get. Other then that they tasted delicious

Delicious dumplings
I ordered numerous items for pickup and it was all incredibly fresh and tasty. I loved the veggie buns and shrimp shumai. I also ordered chicken potstickers, which were fresh and crispy. The prices were fair. I suggest giving this place a try, especially if you enjoy dimsum!
11/04/23Upon arriving to the restaurant, we had to Check In to their Yelp Check In. We waited about 10 minutes or so.It looks like they were short staff this particular night. However, the food we ordered came in a timely manner and they were really good.

2023-08-11 19:52:02They tried hard but service was a little bit unorganized and not sure if they were understaffed or new staff. They kept forgetting to get us stuff including chopsticks and ginger. Unfortunately the food wasnt that much better. We got the crushed cucumbers, the Dan Dan mein, xlbs and BBQ pork. Everything we seem to lack a little punch and Im on a low sodium diet so it wasnt the lack of salt. My friend said they needed msg lol. It was almost as if the dishes were taken from a YouTube video made by average cooks. But the Cha siu was good as well as the presentation.

The food here is delicious, with great portions, flavor, and freshly cooked food.Prices - Great prices on all items.Venue - Place is large, clean, and only thing is a little dated on some areas.Service - Very nice staff and service was great.Overall, the service was great, and the food was delicious. Would recommend it and come back for sure.

2023-11-25 16:21:44Ive lived in Ontario for 7yrs and just couldnt find good Chinese food, until I found 1st Dumpling. The food is very good, the price is fair, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend 1st Dumpling.

2023-10-04 22:11:35Its one of the best most delicious and flavorful dumplings place Ive ever eaten at. The dumplings are made to order. Their spicy vinegar is chefs kiss. The marinated cucumber salad is amazing. The cucumber is fresh and has a good crunch.Ive ordered the steamed pork and cabbage dumplings, steamed shrimp egg leek dumplings and the steamed beef onion dumplings. Their orange chicken is tasty. Vegetarian Steamed Buns are also good. Noodle W Scallion Oil is delicious. The broth of the Pork & Shrimp Wonton Soup is seasoned just right. The stir Fried Green Beans are delicious and have a good crunch. All I can say is that this place has me craving it all the time. Ive introduced two family members to this restaurant and theyve also gone back and brought others who also brought more people. Everything Ive ordered has been spot on. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend eating here. You wont regret it. Only thing...they close at 9 and theyre closed on Tuesdays.
