Peter was the best waiter. Knowledgeable, engaging and recommend drinks and food. The panko crust around the match potato was very tasty. The outside seating is surprising. It looks like a small outdoor dining area but you will be surprised if the size and decor

Honestly such a fantastic meal. I really enjoyed this place. Their pizza is up there with the best in the OC/LA area. The squid ink pasta was really really fresh and had a great bite to it. The ambiance was romantic great place for a date.

Excellent food! Seating areas are great with a combination of inside and outdoor tables. We went on a hot day and it was still very cool in the shaded patio. The marinara sauce was perfect and you could taste the fresh tomatoes. The pizza crusts are crisp and light.. The caramelized onions on the Mushroom pizza were fantastic. You can taste each individual ingredient. Cant wait to go back again.

Cant help but have a whole pizza to yourself when youre here. The pizza from crust to the cheese is hearty in taste and I couldnt help eating slice after slice. The brussel sprouts were great as well. A must go for lunch or catching up with friends.

Service was excellent, I picked up 6 pizzas before meeting with some friends, all three varieties were great, margherita, pepperoni and mushroom. The mushroom was by far the favorite. The wood burning oven and good quality ingredients make a difference. The staff was very friendly as I had a beer or 2 while waiting. The staff was super friendly and the place looks very nice. I highly recommend checking it out.

Pleasant open-air dining environment with some impressive fired pizzas! I tried their fig pizza and their mushroom pizza, and while I could recommend either, I think the fig pizza is really special. A focused menu that plays with a variety of fusion flavors but knows what its about. Service was affable and attentive to the needs of our table.

Tried out 2145 Pizza in Costa Mesa. Good beers on tap, nice happy hour, tasty apps, neat space, a good hangout spot. Sadly, pizza was just ok. Tasty toppings yet the dough, while cooked well, was absent of any flavor.

Ive seen a lot of reviews saying this is the best pizza in OC, not quite. Is it in the top 5? Maybe. What you will get here without doubt, is high-quality ingredients done in an artisanal manner and with ingredient combinations that are absolutely extraordinary, and very flavorful. The environment is trendy and somewhat reminiscent of a local tap house you might see around. Will we be back? Sure. Especially because I hear they are doing seasonal menus to reflect the seasonal ingredients. Im very interested in seeing what kinds of pizzas show up on future menus.

A group of hipster friends invited us here, topically these spots are too over the top for me. However putting that aside this turn out to be one of my favorite pizza/small bite places around.The pizza is fantastic, we tried the blue cheese and honey, the sausage or what we called the meat lovers. Perfection is pretty darn close to what is call these pizzas. Crust is nice and crunchy and chewy. Fresh toppings, yum.The corn dog: so we see everyone else ordering corn dogs for starters so we jumped in as well. YuM. Make sure to try all the sauces.Overall Id love to give this place fiver stars but service was just a touch slow for how busy it was and the parking is an absolute nightmare.

It was a pleasant surprise. 3 restaurants didnt allow us to make reservations on Mothers day, but we were allowed to make one on this one fourth restaurant. We absolutely loved it. I had reservations because it says pizza restaurant but honestly, the pizzas are made from scratch....you can tell its all made with love. They also have a variety of other dishes besides pizza, and they seem plain, however, their flavor and spin to these dishes are game changers. My party ordered many things to share and taste...what was shocking was that the corndog...a corndog... was just so different and amazing. You would just have to try it to enjoy and know it. I usually take pictures, but I was so hungry. I ate too much. I love that its so close toNewpirt Beach that I can just cross over and enjoy this restaurant. We were all shocked that we found this location because apparently it used to be a store. They only have Valet because its a small parkinglot and its narrow. I loved the whole vibe to the place. The patio area is lengthy, its breezy, shady, and so peaceful. They grow a lot of herbs all along the sides. Im just excited that we found a new spot that we will continue to come. Oh! And on Thursdays they have an open mic/band that comes in. We didnt see the stage because it was closed off. So, we are coming back on a Thursday to check it out. Our waiter was awesome, kind, and handsome. Haha, but not as handsome as my fiance ;)

This is our first visit hence the 4 stars. I will update as we return and try other menu items. Ordered the Prosciutto, Burrata and Arugula Pizza and was very good! Service is fast and courteous. Great ambiance! The building is an old gas station and the main dining area is in the garage. There is outdoor seating as well. I highly recommend a visit.

After looking at the average reviews about this pizzeria, I decided to try this pizza.The journey took me 20 minutes.I arrived at 21:30And they tell me that the kitchen is open until 21:30At first, the valet told me about this, who took a few minutes of my timeThen I decided to go and check with competent employeesAre they really unable to cook and sell pizza to a guest who just wanted to buy pizza from them?Inside I met a complete lack of understanding and a very rude attitude.Of course, I would not recommend anyone to come to this place ever.The establishment itself seemed very uncomfortable and repulsive.

In speaking with the server looks like they are going to go seasonal as well which is never a bad thing. Fancy food without the pretentiousness. Being inside an old garage speaks to the atmosphere.

The ambiance is fantastic and its even kid and dog friendly. Parking can be a challenge, but they do have a valet (not sure if its every night).

Tasty pizza!Came in here with my girlfriend and a couple friends for a snack before our night out. The friends ended up not eating, so my girlfriend and I split an appetizer and a little pizza and had a drink each.We had the brussels sprouts which were quite tasty. And we split the pear+goat cheese pizza. Both were very tasty, though I found myself wanting a saltier experience from the pizza. Call me a purist! It certainly wasnt bad, but I just wanted a bit more punch. Flavors overall were nice, though.Fun fact - the cocktails are soju based. Thats not what I expected! They are still strong neough to get the job done, and they taste great, but if youre looking for something specific that isnt beer/wine, this might present an issue for you.Service was prompt enough, if a bit quick. Will definitely return!

Really bummed out with my last trip here. Pizza was great before, but just had two undercooked pizzas served. The server tried to explain thats just how theyre made, but undercooked dough isnt good. Picture may not do it justice, but scraping the cheese and sauce away, the dough was still shiny and uncooked.My first reaction seeing th pizza at our table, was the crust looked very pale, not golden. Blister spots were there, so I imagine it got very high heat for a short while and didnt fully cook through. Our refire was the same, and came out shockingly fast. Ive worked with wood fire pizza ovens and it takes a bit more time for the pizza to cook than this. Too bad, love this spot and the arancini was awesome, just a fail on the pizza.

My husband and I popped in for a drink because we live in the neighborhood and hadn’t visited yet. I can’t speak to the food but the drinks were good! They had Juneshine hard kombucha on draft which was awesome because I’d only had it canned. Very nice bartenders and helpful, though my husband wished they’d had better beer. He wasn’t thrilled by the options he tried. Will have to go back and try the food. Not sure if they have gluten free options or can accommodate someone with food allergies.

2145 has been one of our favorite local spots since it opened. It has now become so popular & trendy, it is amazing seeing how they have grown. They’ve added more seating, more decor, happy hour from 3-6 (very affordable!), Thursday live music, pasta Wednesday (the pasta is AMAZING!!!), and more. The staff will always remember you and make you feel at home. I always recommend this place to outsiders for good reason and this will remain one of our top local spots. Support local businesses!

The food here is amazing! The flavor combinations are unique and delicious. The pizzas are well made with quality ingredients. The creme brulee was small but tasty. Service was good and the staff were all very nice. I love the openness of it. The back patio seating with the bistro lights give it a wonderful dinner atmosphere. If I lived closer Id go more often. We went in on a Thursday evening for a family birthday. The vibe was pretty mellow, a little more hipster-pretentiousness than I had hoped; it was clear the family vibe was not top priority here.Parking was a pain. I was super lucky to get a spot.Ambiance was fairly nice for the place being on corner of Placentia and Victoria... they need to add some heaters to the open front patio, since the pizza oven is behind the walls, you don’t get to enjoy the smell of it, nor the warmth.The bar looked nice and the drink options were nice; they need a few more taps offering local brews - there are SO many more local brewery’s to take advantage of in that area.The food was good. Appetizers and salads were unique. The pizza was the best part (thankfully!) but the options were slim.Server coulda been more psyched on her job but she was probably just lit.I don’t know if I will be back, but if you live in the area, it’s worth a nothing-to-do+let’s-try-that-new-place type of evening.

Highly recommended you have to try it we paired it with the Chardonnay wine (the only one they offer currently) but that was NOT a deal breaker for us not at all I like Red wine as well and they a lot of selection there. The seating is amazing as well beautiful lighting almost like being at a wedding just happy positive vibes I just love it. Christine Ahumada - Daughters engagement party. It was the most enjoyable party, with the best service and food. Our goal was to have an area where both familys would meet for the first time and be able to mingle. The front patio worked the best for 35 people to move around, eat and enjoy conversation. 2145 is so unique with a rustic design and beautiful atmosphere, very well kept clean with a log in the bathroom indicating each time the bathrooms are clean. I was very embressed with the up keep and the layout. I had the privilege of metering the owner, Tiffany, a very creative person with goals to make 2145 one of the finer pizza restaurant in Orange county. I also had the most patient event planner, Jennifer who put up with my demands and changes. All in all I would recommend 2145 for any event or just to have a romantic dinner with your love. The Italian sausage and the prosciutto pizzas we ordered were so poorly made that words fail to describe the nasty taste of soggy dough with clumpy, half molten cheese layered on top.We arrived ~40 min before closing and they clearly seemed in a hurry to dispense with us from the moment we entered (there were still other guests). Complaining about the inedible pizzas they offered free tiramisu, only to return minutes later declaring they couldnt make tiramisu because the kitchen was closing. Never mind that making tiramisu involves anywhere between 4-24h of settling time for the flavors to develop, just comes to show that they served us more bull ....On the redeeming side the place had a good vibe, and I just wish the food would have matched it, in which case it would be a really great spot. But at least the manager had the decency to cancel our bill in an attempt to make things right. Too little to late but duly noted, thank you!

What a cool place! Renovated garage turned pizza joint. Full bar and great food. Really delicious appetizers. Corn dogs, Shishitos and all the dipping sauces are a must. The pizza is really good as well! Try any of them. There is outdoor seating that has a great ambiance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This place is great for events as well. You could hold about 60 guests there.

We had dinner for the first time last night and wondered why we hadnt been there sooner. The rustic modern decor and open air design creates a cozy feel. The patio dining is perfect for the nice weather. The staff are all so friendly and food was amazing. We had the Brussel sprouts, blue cheese and honey pizza, prosciutto/burrata pizza, butternut squash salad with maple dressing, ribeye, and tiramisu. The only thing that wasnt amazing was the prosciutto pizza, which lacked the flavor all the other dishes had. We highly recommend this placeand cant wait to go back. Parking can be challenging but worth any inconvenience.

Oh how I adore 2145. They know what pizza is supposed to taste like. Yes it’s a bit wet in the middle, and yes, the crust is a bit charred. That’s on purpose, and it’s perfection. Their traditional Margherita is a must try, but their other pies are worth a visit as well.It’s the cutest little indoor/outdoor space, not too big, not too small, but just right. My husband and I have been several times and have brought friends because it’s such a great space, but I always leave disgruntled about the food!! The bartender, Trenton, is also the unofficial greeter, which is to the establishments advantage as none of the other employees on the floor had a hello, welcome or even smile for me. We recently had a post high school graduation dinner at 2145 Pizza. Trevor was amazing and on pretty short notice was able to accommodate our group of 19 inside the restaurant. We pre-ordered small plates and salads a day before so they were ready to serve right when we arrived. Roasted brussel sprouts, fries, rigatoni, and two different salads. Our server was amazing. She gave great recommendations for pizza and all were brought out perfect from the wood fired oven. And the pizza is simply the best. Just charred enough. And just chewy enough. Burrata prosciutto, salty and creamy, and amazing. Blue cheese and honey - a unique and perfect combo. Great margherita pizzas for those traditionalists. Craft beer on tap and nice wine choices.
