This place is wonderful! Love the chicken fried rice, but they have something for everyone. Not over-priced - quality food, decent price, good portions. Great for family-style dining, or choose your own. Food comes out as it is cooked. Really like eating here.

Lovely staff and great atmosphere (not too crowded or cramped). I also heard it’s a local business so we love to support them whenever! Our large group ended up staying a bit past their closing time but staff was kind and accommodating and didn’t rush us out. I hope it’ll be still around in the future when I return to Claremont!

Great menu choices. Pad Thai n Curry are two of my favorites. They serve a variety of Asian recipes but focusing on Thai.We had Pad Thai that had noodles with shrimp chicken n tofu. It was great and good portions. We started with beef dumplings that were tasty and done right. The jasmine tea is very tasty n aromatic.They were busy with 2 large tables and a bunch of take out orders. We got there at 5 pm on Friday. The waitress seated us and the owner came to our table and apologized in advance that food may take a little longer. We were ok to just sit back n relax n had appetizers first. Dinner came and we enjoyed it and couldnt finish it so the waitress packed it for us to take home. The owner brought us a dessert with sliced bananas in a sweet warm caramel sauce with some vanilla ice cream to share, thanking us for being patient.This is what I call great service where both the waitress acknowledged us from being there before and did a great job to the owner showing appreciation to us for understanding them being busy and still supporting them. Remember the food has always been good. We will be back and you should give them a try too.

Absolutely delicious! Love this restaurant.Walked by it a couple of days ago and it looks like its closed. Hopefully its just moving locations and not permanently closed.

I tried this place for the first time all by accident, because the restaurant Nextdoor that I wanted to eat at apparently shut down. I was so glad I gave it a chance. Their food was so super tasty and fresh. My 8 yr old daughter loves pad see ew, which was not on the menu but they made it for her. The flavor was spot on and the noodles were cooked to perfection. I will definitely be dining here again.

I had a 50-fifty salad which sounded very good. However, when it arrived, I was quite disappointed. I couldve easily made the salad myself with a handful of cashews, cranberries, a lot of wonton strips that I couldve bought from the Chinese supermarket, and some everyday greens. The sauce was not very special either and the meal just seemed over priced and not at a restaurant quality. Maybe I just ordered wrong, but that salad was quite disappointing.

Been here several times and it gets better each time! Had date night here last night and ate Joyces special beef and vegetable stew, which convinced me that this was the only way beef should ever be consumed. incredible. Ive had Buddhas way as well, and Joyces fried rice. SO GOOD!!! Great service, great ambiance, incredible food. what more could you ask for??!?

This is our go-to place in Claremont because the food is delicious and they have a good selection on the menu. They have great prices of wine by the glass. The owner is very friendly and accommodating

My husband, myself, and a couple of good friends dined at 50 Fifty Asian Fusion in Claremont, last night for the first time as per my suggestion. We do a podcast in the area on most Saturdays and after the podcast we go to dinner most of the time. I’m the one that scouts out different restaurants and makes the reservations etc. When I called to make the reservation,Joyce, the owner was the one that answered the phone. She was so lovely over the phone. We also had the pleasure of meeting her in person at the restaurant. She is really a lovely lady and adds to the atmosphere. My husband said that it’s evident that she truly cares about her craft. I agree with him whole heartedly. We started with an order of Chickn Wings as an appetizer that we shared, those were very good. Two of us in our party, including myself, ordered the short ribs. These short ribs were the best I have had at any restaurant, so delicious. My husband tried some of my short ribs and he said they were fantastic. He also said that they were the best he’s ever had. One of our friends, ordered the pork loin, which he enjoyed. However, he also said that the short ribs were fantastic as did the other person that ordered it. My husband ordered the spicy noodles, with shrimp which he also enjoyed. The ambience /aesthetics of the restaurant is very pleasing. The prices are reasonable. The service was good. Our waiter was very nice and polite. He also brought the appetizer before we our Entrees. He brought the Entree’s shortly thereafter. All of us really appreciated his timing. We’ve been to restaurants where the servers will bring out the appetizers at the same time or after we’ve ordered the Entrees, which is silly. My husband made another observation, that the staff was wearing gloves and hair nets. I really wish more restaurants would do this. This is definitely a restaurant that the 4 of us all said we want to return to.

Absolutely amazing dishes!We had the mini puffs to start, and split pad Thai and honey pork loin. The flavors and the freshness cant be beat!It was our first time here and not the last. Staff was super friendly and very lovely. We had a great meal and we are definitely coming back soon.
