7Yen Sushi in Roseville

Our friends treated us to dinner at this family friendly restaurant serving nothing but fresh, quality sushi. We tried the eat all you can (EAYC) sushi. We had a great time. Will definitely come back if we happen to visit the area again.

What a hidden gem! We were on the hunt for a good AYCE sushi spot and I think we found our go-to. Everything we had was delicious. Love how you can do 1/2 orders so we were able to try almost every single item on the menu. Service was excellent, all the staff greeted us and we immediately felt welcomed. The man who served us (forgot his name) was very kind. Definitely worth the price and already cant wait to go back!

Not only was the food amazing, but the service was above and beyond! My husband and I ate here a few nights ago to celebrate his birthday and we’re so glad we did! Prices were really good, bento box with 2 items for $17 and the roll for the bento option came out with eight pieces; and the food was all delicious! Veggie options were good and there were a few- the veggie gyozas are so good!We cannot wait to go back!

I have been to 7 Yen Sushi many times because the sushi chef owner is so welcoming, and I like the menu offerings.As service is at many Asian restaurants, it is attentive at the start when you are ordering but then you need to flag servers down if you want to order more food, get water, get plates cleared, or get your bill. The dishes can vary depending on the chef, but I will try to recommend the more current items and the items that I consistently like.There is a $39.99 Dinner AYCE (90 minute limit).The Bento Box is a great value. You get soup, salad, sunomono, rice, and your choice of 1 or 2 main items. I like the Mix Tempura, Gyoza, Jalapeno Bomb, Chicken Katsu, and Baked Mussels. You can even pick sashimi, nigiri, maki, dessert (mochi ice cream or taiyaki) as an item.Sashimi and Nigiri: Yellowtail (Hamachi), Escolar (Ono), and Salmon are my favorite fishes. Blue Fin Tuna is offered here.Ramen: Duck Sous Vide Ramen is offered here. The broth is simmered for 24 hours. Call ahead to make sure that duck is still available if thats what you seek. The ajitama or marinated ramen egg hasnt been consistently jammy for me.Jalapeno Bomb is my favorite appetizer. I likely would enjoy the Soft Shell Crab appetizer given that I liked it as a topping for a now retired sushi roll.Sushi Rolls: Order a roll with something fried, like shrimp tempura, chicken katsu (Chun Li roll), or fried onions (Thor roll).You can order the Chefs Special Roll. Just tell the sushi chef what ingredients you like and dont like!Skip the unagi sashimi. The agedashi tofu is just deep-fried plain tofu without bonito flakes and broth.Kizakura Pure Sparkling Stars is a bubbly, light, and fruity sake. There is also a Nigori Mango Sake. A pro tip that I learned from a regular customer is to mix the sparkling and mango sakes, like a mimosa!With 3 televisions and on-demand streaming services, you can watch your favorite sports team or request to watch a movie here. Its a fun place for me to chill, especially when I sit at the sushi bar.As a new restaurant, there are growing pains, but overall, I have a good time and good meal here.

Amazing food, service, atmosphere, and speed. We got ramen, sushi, egg rolls, and wantons. Everything was delicious. We got there right when they opened at 5 and were out by 6. We spent around $70 before tip and ordered a lot of food. Seriously go give this place a try! Theyve been open for a year and I’d love to visit them another year from now.

The service was good and prompt. We ordered several sushi rolls that were just okay. The rolls just didnt have the crispness to the fish, making them seem a bit soggy. Another raman dish was heavy and had a bit of a burnt flavor to the liquid. With all of the other sushi selections in the area, we probably wont be back. They also encourage guests to leave reviews for a discount which makes it awkward and I dont think a lot of the reviews are trustworthy because of it.

First time here and we were surprised by their Cow-B roll, which is Asparagus, Sweet Potato and Rib Eye. Had to order one and it was worth it. Great roll for those that dont like seafood or fish. However, since we do, of course we had the Albacore Galore and the Dolphins. All great rolls and dishes, we will be back.

Went here on a Friday night. The food was very good and everything came out so fast. Jalapeño bombs were my favorite!! Service was very good. We will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. Did the all you can eat and enjoyed every bite. The service was amazing. The staff was so friendly, helpful and efficient.

Best place of sacramento, I have never had any service comparable to this place. People who are well-mannered/genteel, professional, with a smile on their face, and they dont seem frowning or grumpy as the other similar restaurants. The food was perfect, nothing to complain about, fast service. The music volume was nice. Their all-you-can-eat have a good variety of items and the price is reasonable. We will definitely return soon.
