They don’t honor their own mistakes on prices. If you advertise as such… you should honor that price. The 4.99 item rang up at 7.99 and the supervisor and cashier just said.. sorry. The stockers made an error…

I always come here to get my ingredients and there’s a good selection of seafood as well. Wishing they have more branches. Definitely a good place to buy some Asian spices and there’s also kitchen items like woks, dinnerware ect.

I love foods like rice, bok choy, noodles and radish sprouts. And this place has a wide variety of these and many other Asian style foods as well, beef, fish, and live blue crab! Also, this place features two eaterys doing Filipino and other Asian style dishes. They even carry an extensive selection of rice cooker appliances and food service equipment for home use.

Really like going to 88 Ranch Marketplace. Love their fresh seafood, and they have everything I need to make Pancit and then some. Have bought a hot pot and and bowls and chop sticks for my home. Come look around and buy something cool for your home.

Limited selection of asian groceries in a compact place. No fresh bakery service. Have to appreciate to have something this far North from San Diego and this far south from Orange county. Vegetables and asian fruits seem fresh enough. Parking is compact but the shared lot is big enough for a small RV. There are good soy sauce selection.

I stop by the 88 Ranch Market on Ynez Rd., tonight and I couldnt get in because they lock the doors before 8:00 p.m., after trying to convince the guy all I needed was ice cream, he still wouldnt let me in. I told him he locked the doors before 8 and I even ask him to ask the cashier work on the number 3 register because her light was still on. He said sorry guys trust me shes going to say no theyre counting/cashing out. Then my 8:00 p.m. alarm went off. He asked, did you know we closed at 8 and I told him no. I will say he was very polite. But Im still mad I didnt get my Lychee ice cream because we drove from far away-I live in Riverside.

Lots of ingredients, drinks and snacks most major shopping centers dont carry. They always have something new to try. Gret place to inspire yourself to cook outside your comfort zone. Fun to experiment with Korean, Philippines, and other asian dishes. Their fresh ginger is unbeatable! They even have a wide selection of beautiful hand crafted ceramic dishes.

I love this store! It has a good mix of items for a wide variety of Asian cultures. The staff are friendly and it wasnt overly crowded in the store. I like to go aisle by aisle and see all of the different things they offer. They even distribute samples at times. The plaza itself needs some major road work as it has fairly sizable potholes which Im sure had nothing to do with the market but it really needs to be addressed.

Checked this market out a few days ago and was pleased, so I returned to buy more. I love the selection, just had to check expiration date because the first item I picked up expired soon. This is the nearest Asian market to me. Its a few towns over but I dont mind the drive.

I’m giving this place five stars for their enormous variety of hard to find one of kind food items and groceries. They offer Asian themed foods, spices, sauces, produce, specialty fresh meat, and a unique variety of iced fresh seafood and bulk quantities of every type of rice and noodle you can imagine. They also have limited American foods to complete your visit as well. If I had grown up in an Asian country and missed that on special food item from my home country well this is the best place to find it. It’s a cultural experience just to go thru it and you won’t be disappointed as there is something for everyone. Try their in house food kitchen for delicious Vietnamese fresh hot food as well.

I thought they improved, but I guess they should know what the expiration date and production date are and clean up the inventory.So terribly, I just bought this today, and they are all molded. They are the frozen rice balls which might not be the most popular goods, but I won’t know I am buying molded food since it’s on the shelf. Whenever were out of our Asian inspired favorites, we head here. Its also one of the few places we can find items used in Hispanic dishes so its nice to fill up on everything we need for either Hot Pot or Caldo de Mollejas. The produce is fresh and inexpensive. We enjoy stopping to eat spring rolls at their cafe.

Unprofessional bad customer service at cashier every time I bought a scratch or Lottery tickets there no way I get cash back no body help you, one cashier behavior, with her attitude, not a single smile to customers, she won’t cash my lottery, she skip and and scan other customers without say anything word, I even showed my lottery tickets! Fortunately (for the business), but unfortunately (for consumers) this is one of the very few Asian specialty markets in the Temecula/Murrieta valley areas. Prices are fair for the majority of dry items; however, alot of high demand items (e.g., eggs, spam, proteins, pre-packaged) are slightly more expensive than typical.Great Customer service and their pre-made meals are super yummy and come from Bamboo Bistro, next door. Overall, great and would def recommend!

I have been going to this store for years to purchase items because the customer service was good, but this time around I was given the run around between getting my items, waiting in line and paying for my purchases. I already got some items but I also wanted an item from behind the locked cage. I saw the owner and ask him if he can get the item for me, but he told me to get in line and pay for the items that I have now and ask the cashier to get the item because she has the key for the cage. So I got in line and paid for my current items and ask her if she can get the Item from the caged because she has the key, but she refuses because she says there are too many customers and she cant leave the register. I told her I am a customer and she just ignored me. So I spoke to the owner again and told him what happen. He then went to another cashier to get the key and he got the item for me then tells me to go back in line to pay for it. This is ridiculous, owner should have just gotten the item for me in the first place if there was too many people for the cashiers to help. The owner use to be nice and helpful but now that his store is bigger and attracts more customers his attitude changed and not as friendly and helpful as he was before. Well Im not going here anymore so he lost a good dedicated customer and I will never recommend this place to anyone again, so u guys beware about customer service. I would give this place ZERO stars but its not available.

I have always been suspicious about the quality of the meat, chicken and seafood of this place. I bought some chicken a couple of days ago, the labels all said “best if sold by July 4 “ or even the third or second and yet I visit at the store on the fifth. Which means they do not refresh their product even if it is raw chicken. I purchased the one with the most recent timestamp brought it home and opened it just to find out it was absolutely bad it smelled like rotten fish. It was very disgusting and disappointing. Makes me wonder about the quality of their products in general. Would never buy meat here again, absolutely gross

I bought a whole red snapper from here and it was amazing! When it comes to meats and seafoods there are tons of options to choose from, particularly large cuts of meat, whole fish and other things like squid and octopus that you cant normally get at other grocery stores. The staff were very nice, attentive and helpful and I was helped as soon as I got to the meat counter. Ill definitely be going here for my seafood from now on.

I refuse to ever shop at this store again. They lost a customer for life. First issue was some “fresh” noodles. You know, not the dry noodles but the ones that should be refrigerated but they don’t. They have them in random places of the store on end caps and wooden shelves. Got a couple moldy packs. No big deal. It was my fault for not checking especially with clear packaging so I let it go. Second issue, a few weeks later, was a huge bag of sweet rice I bought. Didn’t open it for a couple weeks but when I did there were worms in it. The little white silk worms that look almost identical to the rice (until they start moving you can tell by the brown spots as the head too). Anyways, there’s no way for me to check on the freshness of that. So I brought it back to the store, just wanted a replacement not even a refund. Owner refused. Said because of Covid he said people have been hoarding rice and storing improperly for months in their garage and stuff so they get worms and try to return it. I told him it hasn’t even been a couple weeks. He gave me his number. Told me to bring receipt. I don’t keep receipt for rice so I brought the CC statement of when purchase was made. He never got back to me.Lost a customer for life over a $35 of rice. Also the business of my in-laws and her siblings too. Guess it doesn’t matter though. He makes it up with the higher prices.

I love Asian markets and shopping centers. My previous excursions take me to places like H Mart, etc.. I love learning and appreciating new foods, products, and items all within discovering new culture. The variety of stock was plentiful, produce was beautiful and fresh, meat and fish was diverse. I came away with what I was out to purchase as well as a few new things to try, and even those Youtube Famous items my nephew was excited to try. Staff was friendly and so helpful!

This is my familys go to Asian market--we live in Lake Elsinore and will drive to 88 Ranch when we need to stock up on ingredients. Parking is a breeze with the big lot, the employees are friendly and know where things are inside the store (you know how sometimes employees dont know when you ask them where you can find something), and theres a yummy bakery. We cook a lot of Filipino, Thai, and started cooking some Chinese dishes and are grateful for this market. Highly recommended!

This review is solely based on my trip today at 14:37:19 with the cashier who rung me up at the register closest to Trining’s Cafe. She had short wavy black hair, fair complexion, thin build and was wearing black frame eye glasses…I didn’t get her name. I have not had any issues on my countless trips prior to today.I purchased two 7 ounces Calpico drinks, grape tomatoes and pearl onions. As I picked up the Calpico drinks off the shelves I saw price tags that read $5.99. I didn’t think I had to read the description because the first two shelves were ALL FILLED with 7 ounces Calpico bottles. Any customer would think it’s the correct price because of the quantity of Calpico bottles on both shelves.After the cashier rung up the Calpico bottles at $6.99 each I mentioned that the shelf price tags read $5.99. She went to check the shelves and returned. She seen the price I stated but also said the price tags were for “tea.” I said “those shelves are ALL FILLED with Calpico bottles and there is NO TEA around. So how would I know that I HAD TO READ the price tag’s description? Is it my fault that the price tag is wrong or is it the fault of the employee who stocked those shelves and did not put the proper price tags? Will you please honor the price?” She then goes to say that she didn’t have the authority to adjust the price and pointed back at the manager area and said “you can go talk to my manager.” As a customer I shouldn’t have to go fetch a manager. The cashier should’ve called the manager over to resolve the issue. I can understand if a cashier isn’t granted authority to adjust a price, but at least THEY should call a higher up. At this point with the back and forth I was doing with the cashier I didn’t have time to go talk to a manager. I had already waited because she went to get star anise from the aisle (for the customer before me. I didn’t mind). Witnessing her performing that customer service act gave me hope that she would give me the same level of customer service.To be honest I was more upset at the fact that she saw the same price I saw on the shelves, but didn’t have the mental capacity to fix a $2 problem BUT had time to go back and forth with me at the register. If it was a ridiculous price adjustment I could understand, but I was getting charged extra for an employee’s mistake. That alone is false advertisement. I told her “someone should go fix those price tags and that I wished she had better customer service skills.”

This place has a lovely new grocery feel & look compared to other Asian grocery stores. Their selection is skewed more on Asian regions outside of China (Indonesia, Philippines, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc) so the product mix is very different that what you might expect of say Ranch 99. As someone who is Thai, this makes the store a pleasant alternative as it makes me want to go back in a heartbeat and try new products I have never seen/tried before! Kudos to the owner for choosing to accept EBT (as Ive discovered some Asian food stores dont!)

If I am in the mood for something weird, or something familiar, I know I can find it, the isles havent changed so every time I come back, I know exactly where to go. Great market. You can get a lot of fresh meats and seafood as well as their frozen products. Produce was pretty good but shopping early offers the best choices.The store has a small restaurant for eat in or take out and also has a bakery where you can order special custom cakes. A little disappointed as they did not have more cooking supplies or kids chairs as they offered in the past. Maybe they just had an end of year clearance, will check back again later.

This has been my go-to store for Asian food for years. I was just here yesterday and bought a number of things. I like trying new desserts and bought a bag of these butterscotch bars to try. Had one yesterday, SO good. Opened one today and noticed mold on it. Grossed out, I decided to open another one and that one had mold on it too. However, the expiration date says its still good. Im still grossed out (especially since I ate one yesterday without bothering to look at it) and that brings my opinion of this store down. :/

Great selection of food, however, the cashiers are terrible at customer service. They have their AirPods in while at the register. The one girl who was scanning my items was yelling across the register at the other cashier. Moreover, she was texting on her phone before she started scanning my items even though the line was long. I gotta say, I do not frequent asian markets often, but ive been a fan of asian culture for a long time, and this market delivers. I found all my childhood favorites, the guy at the deli counter was very informative and even gave me some great behind the scenes info on hard to find items, honestly, the store is a treasure trove of new experiences, seafood looks great, got me a proper cleaver, ive gone twice now and theres so many things I wanna try for the first time. Prices do not appear inflated either, just got beef for a dollar less per pound than albertsons, and on top of everything, 90% of the stuff there, you wont find at a regular grocery store anyway. Green tea kit kats for example! Wow. Love it. Online research also indicates they are larger than most of the asian markets in the area, so the selection is the best. No complaints at all. Found everything I needed and im still discovering new items with every visit. They even have pork buns. If thats not authentic, I dont know what is. Cant wait to come back and discover another treat.

My wife and I found many low reviews on this market to be incorrect. We have returned twice in the last week and found that the employees we’ve encountered to be very helpful. Im a white girl shopping at an Asian market. So forgive me if I dont sound like I know what Im talking about. But I love this store. When I need ingredients for asian food (I like to make Thai, Vietnamese and Korean dishes) this store is my main source. The store is huge, they have a large variety of all kinds of items. Most of which I have no idea what they are, lol! But from what I can tell this is a great store to get authentic things. They have a seafood section with live fish. I tend to go here after work and its not overly crowded. The staff are helpful when I need help finding something. Most of them speak very good English. Oh, and the prices are good too. I totally recommend this store!

I bought 2 pounds of dead clams today....all were open and no good. Cant get in touch with anyone over the phone. Everything else seems to be great that I bought. All clams were open in seafood section and didnt close like they should when tapped gently. The man who sold them assured they were alive I should have confirmed while i was there.

They have a good variety of asian products. They have a 1 star because the clerk was rude. I am a no fuss kinda shopper. I am in and out of a store. I grab what i need pay for my goods and go. I grabbed a hot pot. The price says 19.99. I took it to the clerk to pay for it. So it rang up at 40 dollars. So I politely said the shelf tag says it was 19.99. She left the register, walk to the shelf and pulled out the price tag on the shelf. Then she looked at me with indignation and said, there. So I politely said no thanks. I dont want that item and paid for the produce I need.

Because theyre the only asian store around this area their prices are not competitive . They charge what they want. As for their selection choices of products, on some things its a hit and miss. It might be there one day and the next day it will be gone for a while . Produce is not of high quality, but its ok. I dont bother with the meat/fish department. The quality there is sub-par at best. You would think the prices would be cheaper with such low quality, but you would be wrong to think that. However, the instant noodle choices are decent. Thats basically what I shop for, instant noodles and coffee. Other than that I go to a regular grocery store.

Large selection of Asian produce, meat, and products! The meat department is reasonably sized and stocked. The shelves are well stocked with various goods. I noticed a larger selection of Filipino items in comparison to other things; there was a lot of bibingka and puto mixes, and halo-halo things. They carry lots of snack foods at a reasonable price.

I visit for ginger candy for my husband. Their candy prices are high and the employees do not go out of their way to be pleasant to you. Most dont speak much English. Dont bother asking for a product just scour the shelves they wont understand you. I thought at least the Hispanic guy sweeping would be able to help me but he just ran me around the store pointing to odd stuff until I realized we werent communicating and I had to laugh. I wanted bean curd paste - miso. Should have been in the refrigerator. He too me to can goods then dried noodles then dried beans before I realized all he got was the bean part of the whole conversation - ha! Asian Market with good, inexpensive fresh produce. The rest of their staple goods can be pricey. I come here mainly for the seafood dept. Pick your choice of fish and theyll fry it right there for you, free. Soooo good! Our go to is usually tilapia. Where else can you eat a big, whole fried fish for under $5? I can always count on coming here for cheap and decently fresh fruits and vegetables. For anything like yogurts and meats, I probably wouldnt come here, but I dont mind going to an American store to pick those things up separately. 88 Ranch generally has what we need from an Asian market when we cant spend the time and effort to go down to the markets in the Clairemont Mesa area of San Diego. However, you will generally pay more for the same item than 99 Ranch or Zion (in Clairemont Mesa), and there hasnt been a single time weve been to 88 Ranch that the price listed on the shelf turns out to be different than what the cashier charges. It is ridiculous to buy a 16oz size of hand sanitizer for $49.99 or a normal 50 lb bag of rice for $100. Back then, this place was the main hub for a variety of food items imported from countries in Southeast Asia.Eventually, the store thrived and moved its business alongside Michaels for expansion. Every now and then, we still find ourselves coming here to buy veggies, fruits and common ingredients for Asian cuisine. We also buy our favorite tilapia fish, which you can have the option to get them cleaned and fried on the spot.For those opting to have a sit-down, there is Trinings Bakery Cafe that sells mainly Filipino food. Theres also the Daisuki Ramen that offers Japanese ramen and Vietnamese fusion of Pho. I will have a separate review on both cafeterias in the near future.Today, youll find many stores competing for the same items in Temecula, a product not so much seen before, for example, on the shelves of Walmart, Wincos and Costco years ago.The store has done well serving the Temeculans at a time when there was hardly any competition. Its one of 2 large stores in the Temecula area, and has most of what we look for, when it comes to asian foods. The addition of a bakery on one side, and a buffet style restaurant on tbe other, makes this a must go destination for those looking to add change into their diet. Located in a decent size plaza on one of major streets, easy access. Very large size of Asian market. Fruits & veggies were fresh & lots of choices.

Meets most of your needs, but looks like they just tried to cram as many things into the store as possible. Great prices kind staff.Had a bakery a restaurant and acupuncture business.

Decent prices, not a great atmosphere, the music is played so loud I cant stand shopping there. I even wear ear plugs when I want to get something from there. I actually avoid it unless I cant get the item somewhere else.

Buyers beware!!! They do not honor marked prices. It says one thing on the shelf....Store manager says you have to compare item number even though its clearly marked. I wasnt the only person this happened to today. Bait and switch!!!!

It has a great Filipino restaurant and Vietnamese Asian fusion restaurant in it. Also love the variety of Asian ingredients. Only gripe please bring back fresh taro leaves

Love this place.Fish market, lots of fresh ingredients, lots of Asian foods. I could spend all day shopping here. There is even a small restaurant inside.

I love this place!!! I remember being my escape to eat Asian food.... Mmm pocky my favorite. Great food for a pot roast not sure what its called but put all different food like in a pot and boil it and eat it right out of the pot too. 😂😂

Just the best selection of fresh fish!!! Absolute love to this store! They even gutted all our fish. That is our place to shop for the freshest fish from now on!

Want to impress your date, take her/him/they/it here, not only do they have a great market selection of cheap good quality tasting products, Just look at their huge selections of mochi and matcha flavoured products but a restaurant that has some incredible flavorful food and treats such as empanadas and their donuts in my personal opinion cant be beat by a donut shop.

Best Asian market in the area. Prices are decent to any supermarket. Veggies and fruits go on sale here more often. Bulk items sold here too as well as kitchen items.

When paying cash, please count your change before you leave. Cashier (Vanessa) doesnt pay attention to customers money. Asked helped from Chase who doesnt even return calls or inquiries. Poor customer service!

The only place in riverside county I know of to get a variety of mushrooms. King oyster, oyster, enoki, and sushi mushrooms
