First time here for breakfast, we ordered the California Omelet and Meat Lovers Omelet. Both meals were fresh, large portions and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere all the staff was very friendly everything was nice. We will definitely be back!

Moved to Hemet a year ago and always wanted to try this cafe. Well I got the chance today and I was extremely happy with everything our waitress Cari (I hope this is her name) was very fast and polite. The food was delicious and the coffee was amazing. I did not get anything for writing this review, this is just my honest opinion. We will definitely be back soon.

It took months of trying to catch a meal here, and WHAT a great reward for our wait! This place is awesome. Food is beautiful and very, very tasty. Lots of food and drink for your money. Service dogs welcome, however, a beautiful dog waited patiently outside for her people to finish their meals, thus, an assumed dog friendly restaurant area. The hashbrowns were perfect, the omelet was incredibly delicious, yummy pancake, and coffee was perfect. Even the water was good! Service is excellent. Parking available. Safe area. Enjoy a sweet slice of life!

Great Breakfast place. I had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast with 2 Eggs and 2 pieces of Bacon which was very good. We also had the 2 Eggs, Belgian Waffle with Turkey Bacon which was also very good. Chili Omelette with Home Style Potatoes was delicious. Chili was very tasty and not too hot.1+1+1 is the perfect size if youre not that hungry, 1 egg any style, 1 Sausage or Bacon and 1 Pancake.

I’ve been to Abby’s Cafe several times with family and each time I’m extremely happy with my experience. I highly recommend the fish and chips for lunch which comes with an incredible tarter sauce. Recently, I’ve come for breakfast and I suggest you try to Cinnamon Roll French Toast and Breakfast Quesadilla and they’re both INCREDIBLE. The staff is pretty much always really friendly and very attentive.

Abbys in Hemet was a delightful 😊 experience. Clean and modern place to have a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. Friendly service and atmosphere. The place was packed on Saturday morning we had 25 minutes wait time but we got seated in 10 minutes not bad at all. I wished that I had room to try the coffee cake dessert 🎂. Might have to go back and try it.

Order anything you want! The service is always great, it’s clean, and have not gotten sick from eating here not once! And boy does that say a lot these days. The meatloaf is amazing, the club is tasty, zucchini fries are a must, and chicken fried steak and half waffle with strawberries is a must. Excuse me I’m drooling and heading over now! 😂

It was our first time here, there’s plenty of seating and the staff is extremely nice and attentive. Everything is very clean and the food was delicious, did not feel greasy at all (unlike some other breakfast places). The potatoes were perfectly seasoned. We shared a slice of their cheesecake for dessert and it was fantastic. We will be back!

I went there today for the first time with two friends. One had the waffle with strawberries, one had the quesadilla, and I had the most fantastic pastrami sandwich I have ever tasted. Ever tasted. It had thinly sliced and tender smoked pastrami, which is something entirely new to me.Everyone was friendly and helpful, the place was spotless, and my only disappointment is that its a little bit of a drive for me. But I hope to go back the next time Im in the area.

Wasted a trip out to Abbys this Sunday Morning.Found out that they dont do To-Go Orders on the weekendsWow.... Never heard of any restaurant doing this. Hire more staff if your kitchen is backed up on the weekends. Bad Business move on the Owners Part. Had my heart set on some good breakfast and didnt want to sit in a crowd of people. Oh well they didnt get my business today and Ill continue with various reviews about this establishment.

I ordered the Monte Cristo yesterday and it the worst sandwich I ever had. It was all bread, very little meat and they didnt put any Swiss cheese on it. Which its supposed to come with. It was dry and rubbery. SO GROSS! What a huge waste of my time and money for a $15 meal to go there.

Came here with my mom for a late lunch and we had the worst experience ever due to them serving my mom shrimp that smelled like it had gone bad. When my mom told the waitress about she did nothing when asked to speak to manager we where told manager wasnt in and the one whom was in charge her response was theres nothing that I can do since she ate the potato and broccoli. Which we dont understand what does the potato and broccoli half to do with them serving bad shrimp. Worst service ever. Do not eat at Abbys Cafe in Hemet.

What more is there to say except that this is the best family restaurant in Valle Vista? Amazing service, delicious food at a great price. Abbys Cafe serves up the best crispy chicken salad I have ever tasted, it is my go-to meal here. The onion rings and burgers are also top notch. We have been going to Abby’s since it was here in Valle Vista the food has always been good, but the service the tall skinny long hair waitress is lacking in her customer service, we received our food yesterday 05/31/23 9:30a.m. With a Hair in it we saw it as soon as she put the food down, it could have been hers because her pony tail goes to the side and while she is caring food her hair is next to the plates, when we called her back to tell her about the hair she gave us a dirty look, grabbed the plate angry never once apologizing for the hair, then someone else brought us back our meal re cooked( we Hope) the lady that brought our food back didn’t even know where it went we had to flag her down to let her know it was ours. Im in the restaurant Buss. And this was very Poor customer service, this waitress was RUDE in Valle Vista and she still is Rude at new location we got more help from the lil guy waiting tables he should get a Raise and the lil girl picking up dishes with the glasses she is fast and on it she should be promoted to Waitress and DITCH the Skinny Tall kinda Blonde chick she SUCKS….. I will Never be returning there and I will let my neighbors who go there about our experience and I am sure they will not go back either.

Delightful gem tucked away in unassuming shopping center. Recommended.The dining experience was pleasant, without any background music to distract from conversation. Service was fast if a tad harried. The Cafe had no issues accommodating two service dogs present.My spouse eats gluten free for medical reasons and we were pleased with the GF bread option and the attention paid to the corned beef hash we ordered.The place is busy even the day after Thanksgiving. We were seated by the Cafes namesake, Abby, named after the owners daughter Well be back whenever were in town. Recommended.

Terrible experience, never wasting money again. If I could put half star I would. Hostess was rude from the start, waited 20 minutes before even speaking to our waitress who was also rude our entire visit. I know our waitress has been here for years. I’m extremely disappointed in the service. At least the food was good and the gentlemen bussing tables helped us from getting our drinks to getting jelly because our waitress was blatantly ignoring us. If anyone wore name tags I would put names.

I am a senior with a small dog. I am disabled and have a service dog. The waitress (blond long hair) was rude, disrespectful and condescending and went as far as harassment. The issue was my little service dog. She explained the restaurant policy on service dogs having to be on the floor. I compiled and proceed to put her under the table. I then requested another server because of her biligerent attitude. She did get another server and told her the situation from her perspective. The other server did not seem pleased, but obliged to be my server. The original server followed me to the cash register area, harrassing me about carrying my dog to the point I was having an anxiety attack. I tried to leave as soon as possible, but she would not stop and said, you should order-out your food next time. Ive been a customer for years and have brought my family to your restaurant, enjoying a healthy environment, with great servers. I understand the frustration of this server with my dog. This was the second time I walked in and had the dog sit next to me, but I was willing to cooperate. Im a senior and takes me a while to get settled in. I am a retired psychologist and professor. Also, worked with various judges. Im familiar with the legalities in these matters, therefore, hopefully, the owner will address this matter accordingly. Thank you.

Food was great but our server was terrible! She was a young thin girl with dark hair and she couldn’t have been more rude to us. I told my friend that she was probably just having a bad day and we should give her the benefit of the doubt but then she turned around and was very nice to the obvious locals that frequent there. We will NEVER go back. What a shame as we drove 1/2 an hour to eat there.

Best Homemade Breakfast & coffee in town!! Fathers Day 2022 was my first time visiting this place. This is their new location I was told. I saw five police cars eating here one day and from that day I put Abby’s on my place to eat list. I highly recommend the waffle with strawberries, the walnut & banana French toast plate. Their coffee is very good as well, I just want them to use bigger coffee cups hint, hint…. The bill for 3 people was $43.16 very reasonable. I left with two togo boxes because of the large portion size. I took some photos while I was there. You will NOT regret trying this place! Go early there’s always a line! The waitresses all help each other out and take turns refilling coffee cups. Great team work and customer service in my humble opinion. Enjoy and I hope my review helped you!

Girlfriend and I have been here a few times. I absolutely love this place! The service, atmosphere, decor is amazing, the food comes out hot and fast, super reasonably priced. My family and I visited the new location. We have never been to this restaurant. The wait was over an hour long! They did not have enough servers and the kitchen seemed really slow. When we got our food the plates were very small!!! Most restaurants give you double the amount they give you and the prices were high. However, the food was very good! I got the banana walnut French toast. BEST French toast I have ever had. Hopefully Abby’s will take this review and correct what’s wrong. I would visit again if they do.

I arrived to the restaurant at 8:00pm with my family and 2 toddlers. We had been hoping to try abbys for some time now. The restaurant is said to close at 9pm. We were told at the door the restaurant is already closed, although the dining room was 3/4 full of happy guests. My daughter did not understand why we were not allowed to eat when everyone else was allowed in. I am very dissapointed to see a local restaurant that will turn away a young family and hungry children at the door. I understand arriving before closing, but it shouldnt be a problem to show up to a local cafe 1 hour before closing time.

We got there about lunchtime and waited less then 5 minutes. Greeted as soon as we walked in. We were asked about our drinks and received them right away. Our Server Sariah was outstanding. Very personable, very friendly and gave honest answers with our questions about the food ( none of which were negative) . I had the veggie omelette w/ fruit and toast and my husband had burger patty and eggs. It had to be the best omelette I have ever had. My husband loved his breakfast as well but the only complaint he had was the burger was cooked to much for him but he knew it was his own fault because he did not specify how he wanted it done. I am sure if we asked Sariah she would have had it fixed right away. He still ate it and enjoyed it very much as well. I so recommend Abby’s for breakfast and I am sure everything else is amazing and we will be back to try lunch and dinner. Although I am not a regular customer, my experience at Abbys has always been good. I enjoyed the food and the service has always been great, that is, until yesterday.My mother occasionally eats here whether its with me or her sister. She is an elderly and often brings her dog with her. We are aware of restaurant policies regarding service dogs. But this waitress went overboard when enforcing those policies. In fact, she resorted to bully tactics by imposing her will towards my mother. Of course, I took exception to her attitude and let her hear it. The lack of respect she showed my mother was upsetting and it was enough to get anyone riled up if their mother was treated this way. We have never had a problem with this establishment until this woman was hired. I understand the importance of enforcing rules but I also understand the importance of communicating them with respect, especially if the customer is an elderly.I am writing this review to make everyone aware of how my mother was treated by this particular waitress. This woman has blonde hair, chubby, and wears tattoos. Not hard to miss if you visit this place. If you are going to bring your service dog, beware of this woman.

This is the second time my sister and I have eaten here, and we both agreed that the quality of their food...even so prices are reasonable, is nothing to rave about.The first time I ordered a half tuna sandwich and salad with blue cheese dressing. The most unprofessional overrated place Ive been to in Hemet. Kelly the Mgr (Big Bird) is often moody and a complete grouch. She can be very mean and rude to the customers, especially the elderly ones. She will often accuse you about something strange that she created in her own.mind and with no factual basis at all..This usually happens out of the blue. I think she may be bipolar but am not sure. Something is definitely wrong. I also know that if you dont leave a nice fat tip for her and the waitresses, Kelly will single you out or black ball you all together. She will start a fight with you, just to get rid of you. (Btw. Owners are not supposed to be tipped). And when her tables fill up, she will deliberately be rude to you just to get rid of you so the table is freed up for the next person. Basically, she discriminates, plays by her own rules, not by law. The food is standard, nothing special, like Dennys. I would say try Angies instead. Always excellent food, they give you alot for your money. Excellent service. And Its my pleasure to tip the servers nicely. Unlike Abbys, Angies people earn it. Angies is now my go to place.
