The House Special (lamb) was very fulfilling and tasty! The Moroccan House salad was so delicious!Update: visited today, 12/2/23. Had the Morrocon rice with chicken and caramelized onions. It comes with a small salad. I had the mint lemonade, and all of it was really good! All their ingredients are fresh and flavorful.

Food and atmosphere were great, only one person was serving, silverware and water cups were to be self-served. But I’m still giving 4stars as the server was very courteous and she gave my kids some addnl sweets at the end. Waterfront view was amazing!

What an amazing place to be! By the waterfront. I ordered a Tuna sandwich but with onions! The food came out in a food time. To my surprise dutch crunch bread! The menu seemed a little tricky to read but I was tired so I dont know.Great place after a day on the water. Parking and a parking lot near by!Red stop in here. You wont regret it !

A delightful little cafe on an Alameda Pier, overlooking the water. Outdoor seating and a medium interior area. Friendly and kind staff that seem to genuinely love their food!Walked in for the first time to be delighted by the smells of simmering lamb and Moroccan coffee, with a hint of mint in the air. A small selection of dishes that came out fresh and hot.We had the lamb shank on couscous that fell right off the bone. And the Moroccan rice with kefta and eggplant. Some warm hummus and pita bread to nibble at and perfectly sliced coffee and mint honey tea to round it all out.They gave us some complementary almond shortbread cookies that I easily could have eaten more of.Awesomely cute place with some good food and people. Will be trying the place again, for sure!

Its such a lovely place. Simple like paradise. But the food is amazing. The last time I got Lamb Couscous makes me feel like Im in Morocco. ( I did travel to the past ).It was my first time, and I found it accidentally.Thanks for all these strong ladies working in there .

Family establishment that sits next to the water with an incredible view of the SF skyline. The chicken plate with rice/salad was highly flavorful and the sweet/spiced sauce was a refresh to the palate. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend. Give them a try!

Perfect place for a nice lunch with a beautiful view. Food is always so good!!! I got the chicken and caramelized onions. Comes straight out the kitchen nice and hot with a fresh salad. Reminds me of a yummy home cooked meal. I love this place and I wish more people knew about it because it’s the spot!

This is a little gem tucked away near the marina offers a great Moroccan menu. Service is wonderful. Added bonus is a nice Bayside path where you can walk off your meal and catch the sunset.

My friend got me to this restaurant. Their food was very very tasty. We had ordered meal which comes with salad cookie and tea with the dish which you order. We ordered chicken shank, lamb shank and veggies with grilled egg plant with morrocan rice. The rice was beautifully cooked had wonderful flavor and was very light. Their cookie and mint tea was a best combination to have at the end of the meal. Must try out place.

July 2023 - first time back after the pandemic! The kefta with onions and saffron rice is still amazing! Just really fresh and tasty seasoning.----Delicious food. Had the Moroccan salad with kefta, and it and the hummus included had such lovely lemon. Enjoyed the roasted red peppers and beets, too. The salad comes on an impressive platter, but you know its all going to fall off. LOL.

Amazing customer service,I enjoyed my food at this restaurant, I tried different Moroccan restaurants for the past few years but this one made me feel like I’m having the real Moroccan experience and it’s like going backhome.The Moroccan Harira soupe taste so good and the Moroccan tea here is a must but if your looking for something for lunch I suggest to try their chiken sandwich because it’s soo yummy 😋 best halal chiken sandwich with beautiful flavors .I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely sharing it with my family and friends And my instagram community that loves Moroccan culture and food .Also, the restaurant view is beautiful !!!!

Great food! Flavors, presentation, and quality offered were excellent! Kind of a small menu (believe it is limited due to covid) but prices are okay for the quantity served. There is plenty of free parking and limited outdoor seating. The area is clean and peaceful with waterfront views. Very nice family run restaurant with delicious cuisine. Ill be coming back again.

This place had the best view and even better food! Every dish is seasoned perfectly, entire tongue palette heightened with each bite, and the cucumber, tomato salad is so refreshing! I absolutely love that its owned and ran full time by the family. It feels like a real atmosphere to be alive. This is my favorite place to eat in Alameda.

Best food and ambience for Moroccan food in Bay Area. Family run with a good choice of affordable items. Fatima and her family does everything necessary for guests to feel at home. Food is awesome and lots of healthy choices. You can buy a bottle of wine next door and take to the resturant if you wish and enjoy the view. Try the lamb shank and mint tea; it’s worth every penny.

Good food in a somewhat remote location of Alameda. Gorgeous view of the city if you sit out front. The owner was very friendly (or I assumed he is the owner) and chatted with us for a while. I had rice & eggplant and a Moroccan mint tea. Prices were really reasonable too. Id like to come back on Saturday night for when they serve lamb, have dancing, and let you BYOB with no corkage fee.

My husband took me here for our anniversary. The ambience was wonderful, very relaxing and homie. The food was absolutely delicious and the husband /wife owners were friendly and pleasantly chatty after the belly dancing entertainment and dinner. We enjoyed the young lady who did the belly dancing and had mucho fun getting up to learn a bit of belly dancing. We had a fabulous time and cant wait to go back.

What I miss the most about living in Alameda is mouth-watering sandwiches at this wonderful authentic cafe. The owner suggested trying kebab sandwich with caramelized onions, which sounded a bit strange to me. But after trying it, it became my favorite. Also had a go with chicken and pesto sandwich. If youre looking for an extravagant elegant experience, with charming ambience and exotic decor, this is not the restaurant youre looking for. The food is pretty good, however there was no bastilla. Let me say that again: No bastilla! Very disappointing. No baklava either, for that matter. This was more like going to dinner at your Moroccan friends aunts house. We went to this place for dinner on Saturday before a concert. We arrived a bit after they opened so we had enough time to enjoy. When you first arrive, it looks like a run down business parkl complete with weeds in the front. We initially thought the place was closed. Upon entering the building we were met by a very young lady who was wearing sweat pants and a tee shirt.. Hard to know she actually worked there.. We were escorted to our table which there are only about 5 total in this small space. No music going on.. the ambiance was very strange. They have this curtain where I guess they are preparing the food, but we didnt smell anything cooking. There was a man wearing a medical mask serving water which was very off putting.. Are you wearing that mask for my benfit or yours? The salad was served so fast almost like fast food.. makes you wonder.. You only get two choices, lamb or chicken and the food came very quickly after. I have had much better Moroccan cuisine at other places.. I think they cook this stuff early in the day somewhere else and serve it.. it was not that warm or good.. just OK. The bathrooms are an adventure to find. so just more strange experiences. The ONLY thing good in this whole experience was the dancer. She was absolutely lovely and made the whole experience better.

My husband and I discovered this little gem yesterday. The atmosphere is casual - order at the counter and the food is delivered to table. The staff was very friendly, and answered all of our questions with a smile. The food, however, was sublime. I enjoyed a moroccan salad that was fresh, artfully arranged and had an explosion of flavor. My husband had the saffron rice and moroccan ground beef meat patties. He was equally impressed. The location is a bit out of the way, but after lunch we had a beautiful stroll around the marina with breathtaking views of S.F.

We went to this place based on the good reviews, and we were not disappointed. Its a small family-run cafe with a view over to the Bay. You can see the USS Hornet from the window seats. There are some seats outside as well if the weather is good.The staff and owner are really nice and courteous. The food is very delicious (I had a Moroccan Kefta sandwhich which really is presented on a platter with salad) and comes in the right portions. We really loved the Moroccan-style Mint lemonade -- its so refreshing. Apparently there are some belly-dancers on certain evenings though, but it was a good brunch for us. Very cheap as well.
