I was working on a dead line and my computer went bunkers,it was a Saturday afternoon, my project was due Monday morning.Nobody was able to help me until I reached Sammy. I had never been to his shop before, when I called him he asked me to take my computer to his shop and he worked on it for over an hour he recovered my data and got my computer working again.He did it on record time. I left home with all my data recovered and my computer working again. I was able to complete my project on time.Sammy is been my IT person ever since, about 10 + years and has gotten me out of trouble with my computers multiple times.Sammy is great IT technician, a good person and has becomea good friend. This shop is excellent. Ive used Samys services several times, and each time hes exceeded my expectations. He was able to take an older laptop that wouldnt charge and get it working again. Not only that, but by actually trouble-shooting the motherboard and finding where the problem was, he was able to save me a significant amount of money. Samy is friendly, professional, and very patient explaining what he does.

The diagnosis was simple-for these guys!My battery has breathed its last, and they don’t sell them. But the gentleman I spoke with was generous with his time and very friendly, suggesting where I might find a good deal. The customer before me had described his problem which also led to a referral to another company. To me this is an example of PURE CLASS. He knew that these companies were competitors in other areas of repair, but he still made the referral to assist the customer who did come in his door first. ABSOLUTELY PC will now ALWAYS be my first stop when an issue comes up! I know they’ll do anything possible to resolve my problem. This is a rare find, though I remember days when it was much more common. This was a true “feel good” moment!

My 8 year old computer crashed on a Saturday morning. Sammy had it repaired, with lots more memory and speed on Sunday afternoon. Fortunately I have been using the Acronis True Image backup program so Sammy also restored all of my programs and files exactly as they were before the crash.

My daughter spilled cup a noodle soup on her MacPro. Devastated! She took the computer to apple store who quoted her over thousand to repair. She ended up bringing her computer home and found this AbsolutelyPC on internet. So we took the computer here Saturday afternoon. Samy promised to give us diagnostics and estimate for repair by next Wednesday. However, he surprised us with working computer on Monday! For only fraction of the cost! I got the exact experience I wanted but did not expect at all. I brought in four old damaged MacBook Pro laptops. They immediately opened up all four right in front of me, told what was wrong with each one, and swapped parts around so that I had a working laptop within thirty minutes. I dont know of any other place that does this; they dont know of any either.

Sammy works very quickly, charges reasonable rates and explains problems well. He was able to disassemble and reassemble even an exotic gaming laptop that I thought I would need to send to a specialist. Unfortunately that one was beyond anyones ability to repair (I had spilled coffee on the keyboard, shorting out and iirc melting some circuitry) but Ive had several less catastrophic issues that he was able to fix within a very short time.

I came here to replace the broken screen to my laptop. Not only did this business have a great price but the screen was replaced in quick time. This job was done right before Christmas. Samy even went above and beyond by ordering the exact same screen with the same finish instead of just using what he already had in stock. Great service and great price. Screen looks better than the stock screen I had in my laptop.

My 2013 Toshiba Laptop stopped working recently. Took the laptop to three different places for repair. No success. Finally decided to take the 2103 Toshiba Laptop to Absolutely PC for repairs. Amazingly, Sammy, the owner and Technical Guru fixed the 2013 Toshiba Laptop problem in a day. Sammy gave a new lease of life to my 2013 Toshiba Laptop. More astonishingly, 2013 Toshiba Laptop now works better than it had ever before. I am totally impressed by Sammys technical expertise. Sammys charges are reasonable and are compatible with the current market rates. I highly recommend Absolutely PC and Sammy to anybody who needs PC repair. This is without a doubt the best place to get your laptop/computer fixed. I am really glad I found this repair store. Great for computer and laptop repair. I dropped my Dell Vostro and it wouldnt boot up. Before finding Absolutely PC, I called 2 repair shops and both told me, without looking at it, that it would need a new mother board and/or new LCD display. Wait time 4 to 7 days. Couldnt wait that long! Plus how do they know? Sammy told me to bring it in to him. He opened it, found the problem and fixed it right there in front of me. I was probably lucky nothing severe was wrong but having someone I can go to that knows what he is doing and will honestly find the most cost efficient way to repair my computer or laptop is priceless. I dont even want to say what he charged as it felt too low for the quality, speed and spot on service. Highly recommended!Since my review above, I moved to Los Angeles. I had a simple cleaning done by a local repair shop, however my laptop starting acting shortly after. I took it back to Absolutely PC and Sammy fixed it right away. Samy is a consummate professional. Hes a no thrills, tell it like it is type of person. I had an external hard drive wiped out due to mostly user negligence and partially hardware fault. I went to Absolutely PC for a diagnosis knowing there was probably little to no chance data recovery would be possible. Samy had me walk through exactly what happened and from there hed do what he could (no guarantees!) He gave me a good estimate on time and called me a couple days after the initial diagnosis for an update. In the end Samy was able to recover my data and even took the time to verify different folders and files with me. His pricing is reasonable and if you really value your data youll do whatever it takes to get it back. I highly recommend Absolutely PC for your computer needs.

Samy did a fantastic job for me. I paid $1,200 for a gaming laptop from a company called Sager. The computer was great but after four years the hinges started breaking the plastic. Samy found a replacement bottom cover for my obscure brand name. Not only did he fix it, he made it even more sturdy for future use. Fantastic job!

After a power outage caused our computer to stop working I took it to Samy at Absolutely PC based on reviews I had read. He immediately started working on the tower and quickly diagnosed the problem. He gave me a couple different options on how to fix it, both with very reasonable costs. He was able to fix it while I waited too! I found Samy online when I went searching for a place where I could buy a used laptop. I spoke to him on the phone briefly and could tell that he knew his stuff and would not steer me wrong.I came down to the store and after speaking with him for a short while, I could tell that he is very passionate about his work and about making sure that each job is done right. Hes definitely an attention to detail type of guy which is what I want in a person selling me a laptop. Also, I would like to note, hes very honest. For example, if you are looking for someone to give you pirated software, Sami is not your guy. In the end, if you want your software to work and work well, youre better off doing it right.In the end, he gave me a good price on exactly what I wanted. Also gave me a 30 day warranty which is great. Lastly, I would like to point out that because Samy is so passionate about what he does, he has learned how to do repairs that other shops would not even attempt. For example, if you have a bad chip on a motherboard, Sami can replace that chip and not just go and replace the whole motherboard as many other shops would do.Overall, glad I went to Samy.

I picked this place because of many reviews with high 4.5+ rate. I needed to replace keyboard on my laptop so I called them day before for appointment. Guy questioned me for the make and model and asked for $60 to have it done.Next day while dropping off the price increased twice up to $120 because the guy said it will take him 2 hours to replace it. Well. Poor estimate. Also he mentioned that usually he never works with once opened laptops.Is this a Dell service branch?

I was not satisfied with my experience here.I brought in a laptop I was hoping to diagnose for an issue, and I was not treated very well. When he started opening my computer, I wanted to make small talk to see if he had any guess on the problem, so I asked him if he had ever worked with my kind of laptop before. He looked up and, in a rather condescending way, asked me if I was doubting his ability to repair it, then went on to say that basically all laptops are the same. As he got deeper into it, he scolded me for having bought it from someone else, and that my issue could be related to a dent on the corner where it looked like it had been dropped. I explained that the dent was there before the computer stopped working, but he still gave me some grief for the condition. I know that the dent or damage from the dent wasnt the issue, because it was working fine for me for many months, and looking back, I believe the issue stemmed from a drink spill.He did do a diagnostic for free, which was good. He didnt end up finding the issue, however I do not fault him for that at all, especially considering that this was in the time frame of my visit. However, he had swapped out a component for one of his own to test if it was the problem part, and when he swapped mine back in, he forgot to put the screw back in to hold the card in place. I pointed it out, and he in an arrogant fashion, insisted that the screw was from the plate on his. I managed to fix my laptop myself, but it is missing the screw, and the part that is held by it is having trouble, which is frustrating. The final thing that I didnt like was that he had swapped my laptop charger wall cord with his own cord, but took my cord and gave me back my charger with his generic wall cord. I hadnt noticed this until I had left the shop, so I didnt think to go back in and exchange it.I dont doubt that he is a knowledgeable computer person, and I understand that this could have just been a bad day for him, but small oversights can end up causing big problems. I am a customer, and when I come in with an issue that means he has a job, I do expect a certain level of appreciation for my decision to bring my business there. I dont want to be lectured on why my decision to acquire the computer wasnt the best, and I dont want to leave with my computer in slightly worse condition than when I brought it in.Overall, from my experience, there are probably better places to go than Absolutely PC.

My iPhone was in bad shape with the home button was not working, the password locked out and battery dead. I took my iPhone to Samy and he immediately went to work on it. Samy, you crazy Egyptian computer sorcerer! This guy saved me hundreds of dollars on my wife’s Apple 2015 Macbook Retina Display that I regretfully replaced the battery for. Bestbuy Geek Squad and Apple Geniuses couldn’t diagnose and wanted to charge me hundreds of $$$ just to check it out and maybe repair. I looked up a computer repair shop around the area and this place showed up. I decided to give it a try and take it to him. Samy was straight up and honest. This guy doesn’t play around and doesn’t BS you around to try to rip you off or something. He tells you the truth of the problem and the situation. He’s so honest and has so much integrity for his job that he didn’t want to do this job because he didn’t know exactly what I had done and didn’t want to be liable for any further damage. Samy doesn’t like working on computers that have been touched by novices (like me haha) or any other repair techs. It took me some convincing and liability signatures from me to sign so he could work on it and give it a try. Amazingly, he worked his magic and was able to find the problem and fix it at a significantly low cost compared to what Bestbuy or Apple had quoted. I recommend this crazy sarcastic funny Egyptian genius for any work on any computer, phone or other related artifact of the sort. I give him anA+++ 1000% satisfaction !!!!!!

My laptop’s cpu fan broke, so I ordered a replacement part but didn’t know how to install it. I went to Best Buy, and they said they wouldn’t be able to help. I thought I was a very savvy PC guy. When I couldnt access the WWW I was in big trouble. I found Sammy Nakhel via Yelp (using another PC). It took him about 1 minute to resolve my problem. Apparently an update to Webroot considered any access to the internet something to stop...with no warning. I am still have the problem every time I reboot Webroot will not fix it. Turning Webroot first OFF then ON resets the operating system back to normal as long as you do not reboot. I also had problems with some files incorrectly attaching to another USER name directory in this same PC. Moving these directories was not the answer the BIOS still expected these files to be in the other incorrect USER name directory. Sammy showed my how to work around that issue.I had problems with my 650 GB hard drive, time to replace. Sammy had me order a really low cost Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1 TB solid state drive via Amazon. I got the SSD he installed that few days later total cost about $350. My DELL XPS 15Z is now a even better/faster portable.Thanks Sammy!

Brought my new pc in because windows was failing to install/boot, and would shut my computer off immediately. Samy was able to diagnose the problem, update my bios and get it running in a couple hours, all in front of me, while explaining what was being done to assist me as a new pc builder. Had the worst attitude ever. I didnt even get my computer fixed because I couldnt get past his nasty attitude and him trying to upsale me before even looking at my computer or listening to what was wrong with it. And regarding the diagnostic, instead of saying you dont work for free simply take it off your website. He even walked away from me while I was still talking.
