This is such a fabulous Ethiopian restaurant! The staff here is very kind and helpful if you gave questions about the menu. Portions are big...you wont leave hungry.

First, this was my first experience with Ethiopian cuisine so I have no idea if it is authentic or not. We had the Vegetarian and the Meat combo. We liked some items more than others. The awaze tibs was the best. Service is slow as most have commented. But, they are friendly.
My boyfriend and I were going to a show at the soda bar next door and this happened to be the only place open. I had no expectations really but this place blew me away! love Ethiopian food and have tried most of the places in the area but the meal we had here would be hard to top. We shared the vegetarian and meat combo and were both in heaven; it was the perfect thing for two hungry people to share. Our food was flavorful, cooked perfectly, very reasonably priced and came with warm service. Overall everything was amazing and I’ll be back!

2023-09-04 17:31:27Brought a group of 10 friends (plus a 5 month old) to Addis. The food was incredible - some of the best Ethiopian most, if not all, of us have had. The gentleman working the front was very kind and our experience overall was lovely. Personally, I think this is one of the best Ethiopian food experiences I’ve had, and I’d recommend it HIGHLY to anyone who is interested. I hope this mom-and-pop shop stays in business for a very long time to come. Cheers and thank you to the Addis staff for a wonderful experience!

2023-06-30 05:21:28Stopped by on a Thursday evening. Restaurant was clean. Ordered the combination Meat Plate. That had the Lega Tibs, Derek Tibs, and Awaze Tibs. We added on an order of the Yebeg Wot. Everything was wonderful!!!! Would absolutely order it all again. Staff was friendly. Cannot praise this place highly enough.

2022-10-29 01:22:27Really enjoyed our meal. We got the meat combo, the veggie combo, and a chicken stew. A few Ethiopian beers to round out the meal and it was fantastic. The stew and lentils were a favourite of mine so well spiced and flavorful. Will be sure to go back.

2022-03-05 06:27:24Overall, good restaurant. The decore was nice and welcoming. The servers were very pleasant. We had a meat and a vegetable combo platters. Both were good. It may not have been the absolute best Ethiopian food, but the atmosphere makes up for any of those shortcomings.

2023-07-22 14:06:42Delicious! This is the best Ethiopian food that Ive found in the area so far. Can recommend the dero wot, firfir, all of the veggie dishes, any of the tibs included in the meat combo. When you get a craving for Ethiopian food, this is the place to satisfy it.

I drove down from LA for a day trip and stopped here to celebrate my birthday. The staff was so kind and welcoming. A very clean restaurant. The food was superb. I would easily drive 100 miles again to have to support this restaurant. There’s a reason why this is a highly rated. From the honey wine and coffee to the combination platters. Everything was literally perfect. I can’t wait to return.
