I tried this place for the first time, I just have to say never again. Customer service was ok, the food was not. I think I got 3 small pieces of salmon, i also asked for spicy tuna, let’s just say it wasn’t tuna. So disappointed. It got everything in my bowl BUT fish. Honestly I’m surprised they are still in business. Sorry just being honest.

GO IF YOU WANT TO GET FOOD POISONING!!!First, AWFUL customer service. Every time we ask her a question she keeps pointing to the board agitated, saying it’s on the board! It was our first (AND LAST TIME) it wasn’t like they were busy we were the only ones there literally no one else. At the start, she was talking to us from the kitchen completely uninterested.TO MAKE MATTERS WORSEThe raw fish was WARM and smelled SO OFF, the ginger was absolutely expired, and the whole bowl STANCHED went into the trash when we got home. $20 down the drain.10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

- The store was very warm, which I found shocking considering they were selling raw fish- There we’re a ton of flies inside the building as well as buzzing around the food- This may have been because of the bad feeling I got from the place, but the food tasted weird and was DEFINITELY not fresh- We asked for a second plastic dish so we could split up our bowl, but the worker refused and gave us a second lid instead.- We stopped eating after a few bites and lost twenty dollars on this food. Wouldn’t recommend

The owner is so sweet and very nice. She’s a great person to talk to, and I literally love her so much. Support mom and pop businesses!! Besides, they’re food is better than pretty much every other poke spot I’ve been to.

This is the best poke place I know about. The owner is very friendly and my fiancée has been going there so long that they always stock her favorite drinks. The negative reviews are a bit weird and dont reflect my experience going here for several years.

Good place to grab some yummy poke bowls while in East County. Very small place a couple doors down from the bank. Good quick service and the desserts look amazing. Going to have to bring the kids here for an excuse.

This place is awful I was treated very poorly. There was a system issue and it wouldn’t take my debit card and the guy was getting mad at me and I ended up using my Apple Pay. Got my food after getting bad remarks from him and when I got to work my calamari was hard and over cooked. I then noticed my card did get charged as well as my Apple Pay. I called in to ask why and I was yelled at saying my card was the issue and was told I was a cry baby and they would refund my money because I also advised that my food was un edible. Ice been a Loyal customer for years and will ever step foot in this place again. No one deserves to be yelled at or treated the way I did .Doesn’t even deserve my one star

I was really bummed after spending $19 for a bowl that this poke was not good. The gosh portions are incredibly small as well as the topping portions. The owner rushed me through my order and came off as annoyed and frustrated when I would look at the menu to order.

I have no idea what the bad reviews are talking about. My personal belief is all the bad reviews saying bad customer service are the ignorant old generation that has no experience and no patience with people of other nationalities. I personally really enjoy this place, everything is made fresh, the poor lady that works her butt off on her own most of the time is actually super nice, and does a really good job. Don’t listen to the boomers saying this place is bad just go try it for yourself.

We love this place but the owner lady who works customer service has an attitude problem and is not friendly at all. The Poke however is delicious. We really like the selection & style. The fish is good. This place gets the Poke craving done but the owner lady is so R-U-D-E. Her husband however is super cool...wish he worked more. We are beach natives who have transplanted to Santee. Seafood is definitely different by the beach, however we really like this place. Just wish there was a smiling face to greet and kindly serve us. It makes the experience so much better.

Purchased maybe 20 poke bowls (Not exaggerating) from this place. I used to work realitvely close and I love Poke. I like the bowls here however they are most definitely not the greatest value. It wasnt until I started going to other Poke shops that I realized the chunks of fish you get here are super small and the portion size is sad. Other shops within San Diego County will give large chunks of fish that taste much fresher. I will say the spicy mayo here is the best sauce of all the poke bars ive been too. As far as the service. Most reviews are complaining staff is rude. I have never felt the staff to be rude, I just wouldint say they go above and beyond either. Service seems pretty quick and to the point. I will still come here if im in the area. But ive got places closer to home with larger portions for the money.

Ordered pick up today. One of the fish scoops I ordered wasnt included. Seems like maybe some of the toppings were missing too or such a small amount, I couldnt tell you if they were there. What I had tasted good but always stinks to have 1/3 of your bowl missing.

This place is cheap, and by that I mean stingy cheap, not price-wise. The reviews about the owner lady with the attitude is real but its really not that bad. I just dont like paying over $15 for a plain almost sauce-less poke with so little quantity. I have had tons of poke and this is probably the worst, it just doesnt taste good and I think its because I couldnt taste any flavor from a few drops of sauces.

I have to consistently come to this restaurant for food delivery and every every every single time they are not ready and literally 30 minutes wait, its ridiculous how inefficient this place is please dont support them until they get A lot better. I can only imagine if theyre this slow that they make mistakes with other things in their food. We are customers as well and I could literally walk in and order the food and get it quicker and right then vs online 30+ mins later.

Never had the opportunity to try it. While ordering our food today the lady had an attitude with my husband. He asked a simple question since it was our 1st time there. Instead of just answering the questions she kept giving him rude responses. So he just walked out. Not worth spending money in our community. Ill take my business and drive somewhere else. Take customer service lessons.

Holds its own to Poke 123 and Poke 1/2 chains. Im always cautious trying new Poke places, raw fish and all, and I enjoyed my Poke bowl so much that I went back for a second one same day. If youre new to Poke, I highly recommend the half and half white rice/salad, the seasoned scoops (very pleased with the variety here, poke salmon or poke tuna, spicy scallops, mango tuna etc), all the sides except mango and red cabbage, and for the sauce, I enjoy the Ahi sauce, sweet sesame, and Poke sauce (all 3 together). I will be back!

Very rude service. You have to pay extra .75 cents for Ahi per scoop. Don’t waste your time or money. If you don’t believe me go across the street to L&L Hawaiian and order Ahi Poki bowl.

The fish was not fresh, the lady that prepared my bowl was difficult to communicate with. The whole meal was bland to my taste and the rice was undercooked. I had poke for the first time at Poke one and a half and that set the standard for me. There is room for improvement. I was reluctant to eat poke in Santee, I should have listened to my instincts. I hope they get they’re act together, as it would be nice to have a good poke spot near where I live. Other reviewers praised this place but I just don’t see it.

Compared to other San Diego poke places this place is very disappointing.Issues:1. Fish scoops are very small2. Fish could be fresher, ‘fishy’ smell/taste3. Sauces are diluted and tasteless4. Avocado and other toppings are extra $5. Price is high for what you getFor the same exact price you can get a comparable large bowl at a place like Poke One and a Half with all free toppings, extra scoops of everything for free, and you will get twice as much better quality fish. You would also not get diluted sauces. A side by side comparison would make this poke place look very bad.I have been here twice with friends and next time I will decline the invite and make the drive to Poke one and a half if I’m craving poke.

I rarely review restaurants, however this place is worth taking the time to review. Its a tiny place but theyre amazing. Everything is fresh and tastes amazing. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very attentive to make sure you have everything you need. If you love poke I highly recommend them!

Reviewing not as a customer but as a delivery driver who picks up from here. While there are drivers that are shady, the this is a restraunt that insults drivers by making them confirm pick up before they hand you the food. While a case can be made for this practice, you will it is very insulting and it would be like a if a driver asked them to proves they made the order right so we dont get marked down by customer for wrong order. Will not eat here.

Unfortunately I felt rushed since her time appeared much more valuable than mine. Selection was meh... Fish tasted weird. I wont come here again. Extremely impressed with this place during such an uncertain time as COVID19. Great measures put into place to keep patrons and workers safe. Even an added wipe down of my debit card and pen used to sign the receipt! (Idk that my debit card has ever been sanitized until now...) The food was GREAT quality and the portions were large. Okay, so Im a big fan of poke. Everytime I come in this area, I always stop here for poke. I always get the large which has five different proteins. I pick salad just because I feel its better than the rice. This can easily be shared by two people and its cheaper than most poke places. The large size by my work doesnt compare to this amount and its way more expensive.The service is also great and the they give great suggestions if youre stuck on what to get.

As far as Poke goes in SD, there are few places I would recommend more than AHI. They really have fantastic ingredients, the owners are super nice and always ready to help, and the flavors pop!I cant recommend them higher to anyone who loves a good bowl!
