Ahi Sushi & Grill in San Marcos

A decent local place when in a mood for Sushi. The rolls had some some sauce over it which was not my favorite. Our server got us fresh wasabi which was one of the best experience.

Ive never been a big Sushi 🍣 person, however, the food here is always delicious and priced fairly low compared to most other sushi places in San Diego. I would recommend this spot to anyone wanting some quality sushi at a good price. Friendly staff.

Excellent service from the moment I came in. Sat at sushi bar. Sushi shef instantly understood what I like and delivered high quality sushi and a special roll. Basically 100% satisfied. I will be returning after my trip to East Coast.

Our go to sushi spot. We’ve been coming here for over 10 years. The staff is always on it, and food is always good. A great small business that you should get out and support. Our son says to tell you all that the orange chicken is better than Panda😜

Ive come to this place quite a few times and I must say that their Ramen is great. However, I showed up 8 minutes before closing time today, and I was denied service. Now lets be honest, i understand how the restaurant business is. They need time to clean up the kitchen and get food back under appropriate controlled temperatures. However. If your business hours say 9pm, theres customers still inside your place of business, and your doors are still open, then that means your business is still open. Please dont advertise one thing, but then do something completely opposite. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but because I run a service based business, I understand how critical it can be when I get that phone call a few minutes before closing time. I dont like to leave any customer hanging. Unfortunately, I had to experience that tonight. This place will never get anymore of my business!

Not the best sushi in North county but definitely the best bargain if you want to fill up. We had the avocado rolls and a teriyaki chicken bento, and it was a lot of food for fairly cheap. Would recommend for someone who wants a quick fill up of decent food without having to worry about going flat broke.

We finally found a great place to eat in Escondido area. The food was great and the prices were better than reasonable for a Sushi place. They offer 50% off on the most popular dishes and the portions are big. My daughter loved the soup and my son enjoyed the orange chicken bowl. We are definitely going back.

I ordered the Unagi Donburi & Nigiri...the Unagi was cold on one side and warm on the other, rice was super cold (like they took it out of the refrigerator and forgot to heat it up all the way...definitely not made fresh)Hamachi Nigiri was just alright...rice was a bit on the dry side and wouldnt stick together
