I absolutely love this place! Came here at night at almost closing hours and staff was very attentive! Decided to order the teriyaki chicken for to-go. The portion was very generous and the chicken tasted amazing (Though I did bite on a bone as I was chewing). Will definitely come back if I were to pass by.

The sushi rolls here were awesome. Ordered 3 different rolls. Each was quite distinctive in flavor. The Poway roll was a little bit spicy, just the right amount to not overpower the other flavors. Got one with lemon on top and a pinch sauce that was delicate and quite yummy. Definitely a place Ill go back to.

It’s was Saturday afternoon. Quiet and empty. The food was delicious, we really loved stuffed mushrooms, we had 3 different types of sushi, all were great. We will definitely come back.

I have to say this is my favorite neighborhood Japanese restaurant near Scripps Ranch. The restaurant is pretty tiny, so we didn’t give a lot of expectations. But it is AMAZING! All the sushi rolls that we ordered are so yummy! I love my Yum Yum Roll, super crunchy and also creamy at the same time. My husband loves his Hot Lip Roll, it is a little spicy, it is just the taste he likes because there’re so many places that mark spicy but not spicy at all. We also got a Volcano Roll for free because they have promotions from Sunday to Thursday which is get two rolls, and get the third one for free. The Volcano Roll is also amazing, it is baked, rice less and there’s a big piece of fish meat in the middle of every piece. Anyways, you should try it for sure if you are on keto diet. The service is so good, I feel maybe the server is new, but she is very sweet and patient. We will come back here a lot in the future.

Had a spicy yellowfin tuna roll and a salad. The tuna was like butter and not chopped like most spicy tuna. It was delicious and would recommend stopping by as at 6:30 the place was almost empty.

We have been ordering from AI Sushi every weekend since it re-opened. We love all their roles but especially their House Specials - they are absolutely delicious. See the attached picture of our favorite set to order - just as beautiful as they are delicious!We have been calling in and picking up the order. The food is always ready on time, the service is prompt and friendly, and all the rolls an sushi is fantastic!

With the bogo deal, the rolls are pretty good for the price. I think its a decent mid tier option. However, the ginger was so old and soggy. These little details matter in my opinion. It was nasty taking a bite of the old ginger.

They were busy. There was a delay on my order but they apologized politely. The food was great. Ai means love in Japanese. So it’s love sushi not AI sushi.

I love the sushi here. Best sushi and best deal. I havent found any compromise on the taste. Its my favorite in the Rancho Bernardo, Mira Mesa and Poway area. Theyre also always very polite and courteous. They updated their hours recently.
