Top three fav sushi spots in West Hollywood that’s not overdone— it’s like literally the perfect neighborhood sushi spot. Casual, but still good ambiance— really good balance!The sushi is really yummy (my favorite is albacore with the chili garlic sauce - its so good that my friend and I came 2 days in arow for them!, and all of the rolls are super fresh and delicious.) Not one bite of fish was off!Super nice owners (extra special bc theyre a mother son duo). They also speak Korean!

It’s a friendly neighborhood sushi place in WeHo, not fancy just a small place with small outdoor seating and couple seats inside. The service is a little slow but good, I came at the busy time so it took a while for the food to arrive:The menu is quite affordable, and the fish is good quality and the pieces are big. The spicy tuna on crispy rice is good and interesting, never had it in any other sushi place. The sushi comes in two pieces per order and the fish cut is pretty generous, and each piece taste very fresh. The trump roll is delicious, highly recommended.

Very nice experience eating here. Had a chance to meet and talk with the owners and had a great conversation with them. They love jazz and the decor consisted of various jazz artwork and instruments (with jazz music to complete the ambiance) The food was delicious and was complimented with a nice cold beer. Will be visiting again...///

Cozy atmosphere, friendly staffs, and great food. Ingredients are definitely fresh! As a tourist, I feel like this place would be considered as a hidden gem due to how ‘low-key’ the place is.

I was heartbroken when my old sushi spot (Yoshi’s on Santa Monica blvd) closed down but after several visits I can honestly say this place has absolutely taken the top spot.By far the best sushi in weho - fresh, delicious, great variety, and wonderful, friendly owners in a jazzy, Murakami-esque environment. I can’t recommend Ajisai enough.

Amazing, very fresh sushi and I love the jazzy & cozy atmosphere. Got the albacore sushi and mr. trump roll and both were delicious.They also have tamari and were able to modify dishes to accommodate my gluten sensitivity.

A wonderful little restaurant with quality food and service. All the food we had was delicious and the atmosphere was nice with the jazz music playing and items scattered around. Food came fast and our server was nice. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

What a great place to catch up with a friends over sushi and spirits! This place has a calm ambient vibe with an overall relaxing atmosphere. The service was great too, servers were very attentive. Most importantly, the quality of their fish was very fresh and put together masterfully. I had an overall great experience here, and will be back.

The food is decent enough and the owners are lovely. Its a cozy joint with character. Menu is simple, California style sushi and rolls. Street parking though you get a discount if you park in a lot nearby.

Really cute unassuming spot for sushi that literally melts in your mouth and no- thats not a metaphor.I wish I had taken pictures because the beautiful presentation only added to how tender the fatty salmon was and how delicious my eel roll came out!Tamago was a little sweeter than I’m used to, but the actual seafood/sushi was devine

Ajisai has become my go to for delivery sushi. It’s always fresh and extremely consistent. They have excellent fish quality. They take great care when packing orders so they arrive perfectly. The staff are so sweet and treat us like family. Thankful to have Ajisai in my neighborhood!

Terrible service, incredibly rude waitress, just average food - this place isnt worth it. After a long wait once we ordered, we were served only our main course, not the appetizer we ordered. We asked our server to cancel it, she refused and argued with us that it takes a long time to prepare - as if we were responsible for the poor timing of the kitchen, then brought it out a bit later anyway - at which point we just asked for the check, paid and left. Also refused to remove the charge from the bill even though we didnt eat it. Hope bilking us for the untimely delivery was worth it. Youll never see us here again.

My family and I keep returning to Ajisai because of how good the food is and how kind the staff is. Their Mr. Trump roll is always a highlight, and I’m convinced that heaven is filled with an infinite supply of their salmon rolls. This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in L.A, and I will always look forward to coming here.

Best sushi in LA. The quality of literally everything on the menu is outstanding. The staff are amazing and provides great service. The sushi chef Shoei is hands down best sushi chef I have come across and puts together the best albacore sushi, it is a must have every visit. Nothing negative to say about this place, 5 stars!

Simple and straightforward sushi spot thats around the corner from the WeHo scene. Its a small and quiet place with reasonable prices. Hits the spot if youre looking for some decent sushi!We got the Caterpillar, Mr. Clinton, and Salmon Rolls. The Caterpillar was sweet with a good amount of unagi and avocado. Mr. Clinton was really delish with tuna and shrimp. Both were really good, but I preferred Mr. Clinton for the overall balance. The Salmon Roll was simple, but had a good amount of salmon so was happy about that.Overall, a decent sushi spot if you want something in the WeHo area without breaking the bankAlso, large Hot Sake for $9 which is a great way to start the night!

This place is FABULOUS. I have been eating here at least twice a month for 3 years straight and it always hits the spot. Consistently delicious. I highly recommend... EVERYTHING. My faves are the Mr Shoei Roll, Biscotti, and the Baked crab hand roll! Nomnomnom it’s the BOMB!! Enjoy!

One of the last few good sushi spots in Los Angeles. I live in Brentwood so its kind of a stretch to go for dinner, considering the brutal LA traffic. However, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, LA traffic has dwindled down and Ive been coming here more often.Id like to mention 2 things,First, the Mr.Shoei roll is just out of this world. Coming here and not getting the Shoei roll is like going to Chipotle and not getting guacSecond, theyve hit me with the complimentary hand-roll a few times. Be kind and theyll reciprocate.

It was one of the best experiences in L.A. The food was fantastic, the waitress was soooo empathetic, as she spoke a little Portuguese, she made a point of welcoming us!Family atmosphere is a curiosity, the boss is passionate about Brazilian music, he plays all the time!Its worth the visit! This is the best sushi restaurant in LA. Be sure to make a reservation and go! Reservation required. The sashimi itself is really not as good in the US as in Korea, but Ive been to several sushi restaurants, and this one is the best :) The salmon sushi is really soft enough to melt in your mouth, so be sure to try it! Flatfish is not recommended because it has a strong yuzu/lemon/flavor. The rolls are delicious, but eat a million salmon sushi :D
