Ive been craving for salmon carpaccio, and this place satisfy my craving, the salmon carpaccio was sooo good, the portion was bigger than any other sushi places, i eat with the sushi rice, and its just hit the spot!!!!I also got eel sashimi, it was good as well...The service also really good, even there is only one server but he pretty fast and attentive.

Came here to try out their gigantic sushi rolls for dinner. They have a small sushi bar that sits 6 people but also gave a medium sized dining room. They provide miso soup and edamame for all customers. We ordered the chirashi bowl, hand rolls, and the rainbow roll. The chirashi bowl was huge but the selection of fish was subpar and did not include tuna or uni. The chirashi came with Salmon, yellowtail, akinomo, sweet shrimp, white tuna, Ikura, seaweed, and seasoned octopus. Several pieces of the salmon tasted fishy, so questionable on the quality of the fish. The scallop and Ikura Handrolls were very good and would recommend. The rainbow roll was Huge. Unfortunately the tuna on top of the rainbow roll was not the best as it had chewy tendon in the tuna meat. Overall has better sushi elsewhere but worth a try for their Jumbo rolls. They also have a small parking lot.

First time came here was 20+ years ago. Everything was fresh and huge portion. Was told owner sold the Resturant 10+ years ago. Quality stay the same, portion was huge as before. Their signature dish is Chirashi bowl, can definitely fit two man. Definitely worth to try. But remember don’t over order. Enjoy 🙂

Definitely be ready for a wait, but the food is well worth it! The chirashi bowl has these big slices of sashimi and its the perfect to share with others.

Been coming here with the original owner for many years. There was a period of time that the shift made the quality and the service drop. So, today we decided to see if it got better and we were glad it did since it used to be our favorite place. The prices look high but its because the portions are big. We usually order 2-3 dishes to share for a family of 4 and we leave full. The space is very small, so expect long wait and to be seated in close proximity with other people.Tonight there were 3 staff serving all the guest which was not sufficient. Our drinks were not refilled as it used to be but its understandable since after covid, many restaurants are struggling in hiring people. If you were like us on the fence since the original owner passed away, you should definitely give it a try. They kept the same, original flavor, portions and flare.

The Chirashi bowl is amazing! The best ever. Deep fried soft shell crab also wonderful, Hugh portion and very fresh crab, very crispy. And their oyster in a delicious sauce, will come back!

The best sushi place in town, it is always the hole in the wall places that are awesome. This place is very small and very intimate, so get comfortable for tight spaces.Outdoor dining is available when weather permits.

We haven’t been here since the new owners bought the place and it’s honestly almost like we remembered and loved it. All the rolls are large, tasty and fresh. We got the Chirashi bowl (amazing) salmon avocado roll, Tataki bowl and that always super tasty. Try the Clark ave and Clark ave rolls while you’re there.

Simply put, this place is small and feel old. Just dont let it bother you. The servers there are great. The prices are on the high side but they are justified by the taste and the portions they serve. I have no problem coming back for more. I like this place.
