Ive been multiple times and their food and service were always consistent. One of the best restaurants in Sacramento. It also has a good location with enough parking space even during a weeknight. My go-to sushi place in town.

The food was really good. Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura were cooked perfectly and sushi boat has good variety and fresh ingredients. Beef was tender enough, and sauce was tasty. The only complaint was that the sushi rolls were too large and not bite size. The service was polite and attentive.Group of 17 all left happy and full.

Miso ramen and Shoyu ramen were really good. Fresh ramen noodles. Tonkatsu Curry was ok. Curry had a skin on the top.

Cant go wrong with this long time authentic staple of the community. There is an excellent sushi, saké, and ramen. Theres plenty of seating and room for groups and parties, as well as a healthy dose of parking. If you have a group, try one of their sushi boats. They are the best in town.

Pleasant place to have average Japanese food in Sacramento area for a reasonable priceKatsu curry was fine, but pork cutlet was thinner than a deck of cards and not juicy - just a sad piece of pork fried and likely sitting under a heat lampCurry is difficult to mess upKaiser Ramen was just OK for the priceBroth was nothing remarkable and they overfilled it with spinach almost as a fillerBathrooms were clean enoughShowa-era looking posters were fun

My preferred sushi place, my friend and I love it, food is fresh, price is fair, not a fancy sushi place but fits my daily routine and more importantly close to my house and convenient location

I was disgusted with the service here. There were 5 of us. And we (my family of 4 and a sweet extended family member). The food was less than mediocre! Other than the Tempura Vegetables which were good and the Miso Soup and the side salad... the Queens Sushi roll tasted like rotten fish; the fish that was in the center looked bad and tasted worse. So my son and grandson could not eat it. The Yakisoba looked and tasted like it was leftover and reheated. We didnt eat that either. The appetizer was actually good. Agedashi Tofu it was. Good flavor and edible! The really disgusting part was the service. The server was bringing food to the table and standing at one side of the table and reaching across is and handing the plate into the hands of someone at the opposite side of the table right over our food instead of walking around and seeing it down. Then she walked over and handled a dirty bus cart without gloves and then picked up food and brought it to the table. Her name was Uyanga. At one point they were clearing a table off and the people had left a Bottle of Apple Juice that they didnt drink. The guy clearing the table handed the bottle to the server and she took it to the kitchen. Not a good practice.Bottom line is I would not recommend this place at all. The prices are high and the quality is low. Not one time did anyone come to the table to take away anything or provide anything. We had no napkins. 2 kids and no flatware. I had to flag someone down to get a spoon for my granddaughters soup.I waved someone down for napkins. There are 5 purple at the table and he brought 3 napkins. This is the very first time I refused to leave a top. $92.11 check. I would normative leave at least 20... but not this time. Youll see by the bill.

Friendly family friendly Japanese restaurant - they have everything at this place: Donburi bowls (meat on top of rice bowl), ramen/Soba Noodles, lunch box specialist, Sashimi and sushi, and traditional Tempura & teriyaki meats. There’s a sushi bar and a big party room in the back with two front projection screens for sports viewing. I enjoyed the art framed in the front seating area. My husband and I both ate sashimi and it tasted great. My brother ordered something with teriyaki sauce smothered all over and mom ordered zaru soba with side of char sui.⚠️ Warning! 3 out of 4 didn’t get ill. Last night my husband who ordered the deluxe sashimi was sick from food poisoning. He threw up last night and feeling beaten up today. I am fine, I ate the Hamachi sashimi… apparently the Hamachi was ok. I would ask the sushi chef if the fish is safe next time! 😩

Hands down one of the best sushi restaurants Ive been to in Sacramento area. We got there around 5:45pm on a Wednesday night to a quiet and intimate dinner scene. The wall decor combined with Hoshizoraga Utsuru Umi playing over the speakers. The sushi was ok, but we really came here for the chicken katsu curry. Surprisingly, not many restaurants have this on their menu.As it turned 6:00pm, the tables began to fill as people slowly trickled in for their midweek dinner. There appeared to be only one waitress and one bus boy who was assisting with drinks. The women served everyone with grace and ease and even had time to check on us every now and then before we closed out.Overall, the experience was great and a nice place to feel transported for an authentic feeling Japanese experience
