First time and definitely impressed! Our food was spectacular, we loved the Asian twist on steakhouse classics. Our server was Amelia and she is by far the best server I’ve had: attention to detail, very accommodating to changes, gave us great suggestions, friendly and professional - overall pace of meal was perfect! We had steaks as well but neglected to take a photo as everyone just dug right in. Everything we had was delicious, flavorful and great textures in our dishes. We will be back!

The food is tremendously delicious. Amazing yet elegant setting. The service is exceptional. The staff here are very knowledgeable about every dish they serve.We were here for my nieces 21st Birthday and everyone had a great time because of how well trained the staff. Very professional. We were not rushed. We were there for 2.5 hours and we were not pressured to leave like other restaurants would.The way they prepared and cooked the steak should be the industry standard.If i was given a choice for my last meal. I would choose this bc i want to die happy.

Great steak, both regular and dry aged. We order a tomahawk weight of 3.75 pounds and it’s perfectly cooked and charred. Good size to feed 5-6 people. Surf and turf with dry aged steak and perfectly cooked lobster is another highlight on the menu too. Their desserts are creative and very tasty.

Weve been here several times, and I cant say enough good things about Alexanders. People rave about House of Prime Rib or Ruth Chris. Those two places are DUMPS, compared to a real steak house. There really is no other steak house to go, dont waste your time. Alexanders is it.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here. We felt super special and taken care of by the servers, and we didn’t want for anything. The food was absolutely amazing, with the star of the show being the Miyazaki - if this is on the menu when you are there, definitely get it!!

Fantastic ambience with good food. The starters of tuna tartar and scallops were done to perfection. Scallops were huge! Id give the deep fried crab meat a miss - batter was a bit soft and I couldnt really taste the meat.The steaks were huge and done well. The wagyus were immaculate but personally gets a little too oily after the 3rd bite. Prices were steep for a steakhouse and it is an indulgence. If the costs were reasonable, it would have easily been a 5 star.Service top notch!

Recently celebrated a birthday here and second time visiting this location. Whatever youre doing to train your employees, yall are doing it right. Our waiter Kevin was fantastic -- attentive, helpful, and went the extra mile to make sure we had a good birthday celebration. The food was delicious, steak was cooked just right. We found our go-to steak spot in the south bay.

Went out with our working group. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The courses we had to choose from were enjoyable. I didnt expect the appetizers. Im not one for tofu but I would say the tofu taco was good. The shrimp was good but I would have preferred it warmer and maybe the sauce to have a lil spice. (Thats just me I like spicy food) The calamari was excellent the staff that took care of us did a wonderful job. High 5 to (Mina and Amelia)The steak was just melt in your mouth delicious. Cooked perfectly just how I ordered it. The sides were good as well they paired well with the dish. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good steak in the Santa Clara area.

Came here for a special occasion and the establishment did not disappoint! From front desk reception to our server and bus service, from our appetizer to main course then desert, they showed that even though they no longer have their michelin star they can still deliver an experience on par with that level of recognition.

This review is for a Tea Service at the Patisserie.We were supposed to be on the patio, but due to rain, we were put in a room inside the main restaurant. I dont fault the venue change, but the room had no character, no atmosphere, no view, and no way to signal the staff.The staff was very friendly and happy to serve, but they seemed a little bit inexperienced with putting on a Tea.1st: reservation was for six, table set for only five. 2nd: condiments for a service had to be asked for instead of already being on the table or brought with Yea and/or food. 3rd: Although everyone got their own tea in individual pots, there were only 2 small pots of hot water on the table (green pot). 4th: They didnt check on us enough. Pots of hot water were empty for awhile, before anyone showed up to get us more.Good thing was the teas were delicious and different from other places. The sandwiches, even though a bit bready, were also filled with very tasty ingredients: hot turkey, Lobster and Crab spread (it was real Crab because I got shell in mine). And the desserts were brilliant (see pix below). My favorite was the one in the container pistachio coconut pudding. Yummm 😋 so good got another one after service in the Patisserie shop.

Rude waiting staff - the waiter that took our order was so rude, his face turned down immediately after we said that we didn’t want any alcoholic drink, I’m preparing for pregnancy and my husband is driving, so none of us are getting any alcoholic drinks. He made the experience so bad that for a second I even feel guilty of not ordering wine. What the heck? We got the same face when we said we don’t want deserts because we’re so full.Food wise - overly sweet, they even made the bone marrow covered in sweet sauce, my husband loves it but I really don’t like my supper sweet.

Would round this out to a 1.5 if I could, the experience overall wasnt the best.We went for my Mother in Laws birthday lunch. They gave her a card which was nice and sat us down. They asked for our preference of water (although hid the cost until we got the bill - not free water but $12 a bottle) and after about 10 minutes we still did not meet our server so we asked the person giving us our napkins and water to take our orders.Mind you, this was 2pm lunch service on a Saturday and we were one of two tables in eye shot. He happily took it though, and we then played the waiting game. We were given a shot of soup and our starter pretty quickly (where we finally met our server), but soon realized it had been 50 minutes without getting our actual food. At about 3pm, we did get the food - with no explanation to the delay.Granted we did not get the namesake steaks and opted for the not steaks portion for a lighter lunch, so I cannot speak to their specialties. However, I got the French Dip sandwich with prime rib on it, and it was....not great. Im not sure if it was because of the long wait, but the sandwich was not hot like I was expecting, and the jous on the side was not enough for the sandwich and also cold. However, the hamachi shots we got as a starter were amazing. Our water server also suggested the brussel sprouts which did not disappoint - so kudos to him.All in all, it was a poor service experience and a lukewarm (literally) dining one. Besides the card, my mother in law didnt get much for her birthday celebration - but we did hear singing at other tables. On our way out, the place was close to empty and there were dozens of servers standing around chatting, eating, and preparing for dinner I suppose. But funnily, none of them could help us out or even be on our side of the restaurant. For the price of the lunch (and $36 of water we didnt expect) I wouldnt recommend going.

If you are looking for a very special lunch, do consider the prix fixe weekday lunch at Alexanderss. Once youve ordered, youll get an amuse bouche. Todays was a silky corn bisque with a small croissant on the side. Heaven! The prix fixe has a choice of starter, main, and dessert. I went for the heirloom tomato starter, served with pesto, burrata, balsamic vinegar, and accented with all sorts of lovely tastes and textures. This was followed by an excellent halibut with a beurre blanc and a beautiful collection of accompaniments (morel, cherry tomato, pea puree, and more!). The final prix fixe course I selected was a banana bombe that was served in a chocolate sphere and the waiter poured hot espresso caramel on top to melt it and reveal the rest of the dessert inside. So special, so lovely, so satisfying for all the senses. The last complementary item is a fluffy cotton candy (todays flavor was strawberry).

Took my wife here for our anniversary. I could say the food is absolutely delicious and that would be an understatement. I could say the speciality drinks were supremely tasty and that would be an understatement. I could say the butter was the most delicious butter Ive ever had and that would be an understatement. I could say the service was top notch and that would be an understatement. I could also say it was incredibly expensive and that would be an understatement. Finally, I could say it was worth every penny and that would be true. I also really liked how they scraped away the bread crumbs cuz I ate a lot of bread and made a huge mess like a giant toddler. Also they gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary and a card and fancy juice because the waitress noticed we werent drinking alcohol. Great attention to detail. 10/10 experience.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Alexander’s. Customer service was top notched but was a bit disappointed with the quality and flavor of the meat. For a steakhouse, I would have expected the meat to be phenomenal, and was not impressed with the filet I ordered.Besides the main course, everything else we ordered were delicious (Bone Marrow, Scallops, Caesar Salad, Truffled Fries, Broccolini and Soufflé.Food was a bit over-priced. For the amount we paid for dinner, I expected every bite to be spectacular.The anniversary plate was a nice and personal touch to end the evening.

Top rating for food, service, and atmosphere. The tomato garlic soup was smooth and very tasty, though I would have liked a touch more garlic. Prime rib was a perfect medium-rare, tastefully seasoned. The vanilla berry roulade dessert was a light dessert with just the right amount of sweetness. Combine that food with attentive service and good atmosphere, that’s what makes it a memorable experience worth repeating.

This was my 2nd time here at Alexanders and my first time here was about 3 years ago. We had a 5:30pm reservation for a group of 6 on a Friday night. Make sure you call in to make a reservation because you probably wont get seated as a walk in. Our friend had tried to make reservations for our group a few times before she was successful.I honestly would only come back for the hamachi shots and truffle mac & cheese. Bone marrow was also ok. Ive had better ones before at restaurants and home made. We got the dry aged porterhouse and that was shared between me and my husband. With COVID, my husband cooked a lot of steak at home, especially with the Traeger, and I personally thought his steak was better than this. Maybe we have to try a different cut but I wouldnt recommend this steak. Our waitor forgot to bring us our glass of red wine so we had to ask for it again when our steak was brought out. There was a lot of lackluster food and service that left me and my husband feeling meh. Overall the food was good, just not the steak we got so well have to try another steak next time... if we come back.

A wonderful dining experience with a welcome personal touch to every dish and every meal.I came on my own first to sample the Omakase, available for dinner only. Definitely a well paced, well presented meal with a playful accents all throughout each course. This curated course-load takes about 1.5 hours to complete, without wine pairings. Each dish is accurate to Chef Lee’s perfective philosophy regarding food.The second time I came, I sampled across several degrees of beef, from French dip to t-bone as well as some select appetizers. The experience at Alexanders is always wonderful; we have sat outside before and sat inside most recently. There is a warm, quiet ambiancein the dining room. Our food was perfect. We started with the octopus, mushroom bisque, and a wedge salad, followed by a bone-in ribeye and the filet with brussel sprouts and bacon, broccolini, and the truffle mac and cheese. We ended with the banana bombe, an espresso and chamomile tea. They also treated my husband to a chocolate birthday cupcake. The service is exemplary with food timing just right. High price, nice service, sweet dessert, moderate steak. Waiter is well trained but impatient. The rib eye is fine in the meddle of steak, but too dry in the edge. It seems a little over-baked, it’s common in cheap restaurant but maybe a fault in such high class steakhouse. Truffle fries are interesting and maybe the best food in this meal. Soufflé is harder than I tasted but still not a bad try.

Wonderful place! The chefs and staff take pride in their work. I enjoyed our experience and appreciated the flavor burst that came with their dishes.I wanted a low key moment to just enjoy some good food.Justin, the bartender, is a drink extraordinaire, who was able to whip up a few colorful drinks accommodating my restrictive diet. The first drink was a delicious lyche martini and the second one was his secret recipe - coffee martini - that was to die for! Both drinks had a rich frothy top layer, colorful underlining palette and a decent amount of liquor that felt smooth and velvety.I would recommend trying Scallops appetizer and Solstice desert to send your senses to heaven.

Alexander’s has always been a high end steakhouse and as usual, didn’t disappoint. Superb side dishes: mashed potatoes, creamed spinach (a little crunchier than at other places, truffle fries. Then surf and turf for me and rib eye for my spouse, both perfectly cooked. The lobster tail was good sized. We finished with chocolate ice cream and, of course, cotton candy.

Great atmosphere with amazing food. ordered Kobe A5 Wagyu beef, medium (although chef’s recommendation is medium rare) very delicious! Wish the portion could be more than 2 pieces! Fresh oyster with ginger sauce tastes refreshing! Fillet Mignon (medium plus) is tasty too but would recommend having this first before eating Wagyu beef since Kobe Wagyu beef is much better comparably!!Other than that, service is good. We had the Beef Carpaccio and the Scallops as an appetizer, these were great, the scallops were so tender and the flavors were all on point, and the Carpaccio was delicious. My entree was the ribeye steak, and it was so tender and juicy, medium just the way I like it. My wife had the chicken and it was great. We also got the truffle mac and cheese, delicious!! The service was the best and the food was great!! Alexanders is pretty pricey, so be prepared to pay a good amount. Although it is expensive, the food is definitely worth it. We will be coming back here again real soon.

Super disappointed. We’ve been here a few years ago for my birthday. Couldn’t come during the RONA and finally I was so excited to come to Alexander’s after moving out of state and Findlay getting to see my sisters after a year and a half. Not what it use to be. Our prime NY steak was just ok. Nothing special. The side dishes all disappointing and super EXPENSIVE!!! WTF…$16 for a side and was so small!!!! Spent $400 for mediocre food. Never again. I think I’ll revisit Ruth Chris instead.

Overall good dining experience. The Kobe Beef was awesome but the dry aged T-bone average (probably because we ate the Kobe beef first). Also, I wanted my dry aged steak medium rare but a good portion of it is rare. The seating could have been better. We reserved a patio table but ended up sitting in the table on the sidewalk close to the entrance with lots of foot traffic and no heater. Good service though we didnt chat much with the waiter to reduce the social distance risk.

First of all, the F1 Wagyu was hands down the best steak I have ever had.Second, the staff was so helpful and professional. My father is getting older and he was frustrated by the low levels of light. Because he is beginning to struggle with cognitive impairment, he became agitated and was less than polite about it. However the staff was so kind and patient and helped us find a new table with better-- and once the food arrived, Dad really enjoyed it and had a great time.We only have so many special meals left with Dad-- a big thanks to the staff (including the manager) for keeping everything positive and making this a happily memorable evening.

This is my first time at Alexanders, but my hubbys second time (first time at this location). We ordered an appetizer on the omakase menu called smoked dry aged kagoshima. Small slices of wagyu with onion soy marmalade, truffle vinaigrette, and shitake. They were presented inside a small bamboo steamer. OMG- the flavors were mouthwatering; so good we were close to crying. We also tried the steak tartare from the cold appetizers menu. Although this was good, it wasnt the best we ever had. The pickle flavor in the tartare overpowered the steak. My hubby is used to eating steak tartare with an egg on top; this one did not have an egg. My hubby ate the prime dry aged porterhouse (28 oz). Its half NY strip and the other side of the bone is a tenderloin filet. It was delicious. I ordered and fully enjoyed the Mishima F1 reserve filet mignon- I wont be able to go back to regular steak or Outback or Black Angus. Be prepared to have your taste buds blown- nothing compares to Japanese wagyu. We also shared a side of brussel sprouts and broccolini. Our excellent waiter, Sameullah, recommended all of our dishes. He also brought us complimentary sparkling (like a non-alcoholic rose) fruit-flavored beverage. We also drank a tart lemon drink- it reminded me of calamansi juice. For dessert, we devoured the rice rice baby (rice pudding with mango puree and horchata ice cream) and the dough-not (warm beignets with raspberry puree, powdered sugar, and chocolate bourbon sauce). Expect to spend a lot here but very much worth it- the flavors and the service are impeccable!

Pure Decadence. Amazing hamachi shots are a must! Butter basted steaks with a side of foie gras. The steaks were so rich that we only are half! The leftover made a great steak sandwich for lunch the next day. we also ordered the lobster Mac n cheese, wild mushrooms, and Brussels sprouts with bacon. For dessert, we ordered the smore souffle with marshmallow ice cream... To DIE FOR! I know, I know, it sounds super sweet, but it wasnt! Filet mignon, medium rare was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t nearly as juicy or tender as I hoped from such a high end steakhouse. Excellent steakhouse and service. Having been to many steakhouses in NYC and across the country, Alexanders definitely tops the list. The current location is brand new, having opened in summer 2016, and has several separate rooms that make you feel like youre dining in a small, exclusive restaurant. All of the food was delicious, with the highlights being the wagyu sliders (which had a sweet and savory taste) and of course the filet mignon (cooked perfectly with a great taste). The servers were very attentive and friendly, topping off the experience perfectly.

Come anniversary night, Alexanders Steakhouse is a staple choice to dine at for us. I wanted to check and try the Halal items that were on the menu and to our surprise they did carry a couple of options. These would be the F1 Wagyu dishes namely westholme or the Tajima ( ordered the former (medium)). Wifey ordered the dry aged T-bone steak (medium rare +)With the westholme I probably would have made the best ever decision when it comes to eating steak ( felt better than Kobe A5 for some reason) and I did make sure to pass on the compliments to the chef via Eddy.We followed that up with an Espresso for the wifey and an Earl Grey tea for myself along with the Banana Bombe as our choice of dessert.They brought out the cutely done cupcake with the Anniversary message on the tray and followed it up with the cotton candy.All in all a great evening, amazing dinner and some classy Hospitality ( big shoutout to Eddy and team for keeping us informed and answering all our questions along the way ) made for a perfect Anniversary date night!!!

One of the best steakhouse in the Bay Area in my opinion. Went here with my girlfriend for a celebration. We ordered the Kobe beef and Boned-In Ribeye. The meat was cooked perfectly. The Kobe beef was soft and velvety just as expected. But the Bone-In Ribe Eye for me was the star of the night, extremely flavourful and I really like the melthing butter on top. The uni fried rice and rissotto was also very good. We tried out the Bone Marrow and I would highly recommend ordering it when visiting Alexander Steakhouse. They are all very tasty and served with butter which is a nice way to start off the meal.As far as appetizers go, weve always enjoyed what weve tried as well. They are fairly pricey and the portion size can vary pretty significantly:Popcorn Crab: This appetizer may be the best value for your money as the portion size was large enough to be an entree and it was delicious. Worth trying if youre a fan of crab and fried foods.Roasted Bone Marrow: This one is very nice and Ive ordered it a few times as Ive recently learned I love bone marrow. The bone marrow is not a huge appetizer but I decent serving size of bone marrow and absolutely delicious -- definitely recommend.Onigara King Crab Legs: These are a great choice as well. The crab legs have a nice spice to them and a reasonable serving size (when it comes to King Crab, anyway). If youre a fan of King Crab and dont mind a little heat these are the choice for you.Jamon Iberico Cinco Jotas: This mix of truffle burrata cheese and bread is a nice choice and very tasty. The value for your dollar is a bit lower here as its a pricey appetizer with a small portion size, but if youre a fan of burrata you may enjoy this choice.The entrees are almost excellent as well, and of course I am referring to the steak. Weve tried a few different types, but mainly I am always ordering the:Prime Bone-In Ribeye: Deliciously cooked and extremely tender steak. A nice amount of butter and scallions on top and often offered with a number of optional enhancements such as crab (Oscar style) or truffles which I am a fan of when they are available. The steak is cooked perfectly and has the right amount of delicious fat around the outside with juicy tender meat inside.Filet Mignon: Excellently cooked and very tender with very little fat, this is a nice choice for those with smaller appetites or who arent as big fans of the external fat found on the Ribeye. This is a favorite for my girlfriend and she definitely enjoys it so you wont go wrong with this option, either.They also have wonderful sides to accompany your meal, particularly:Lobster Macaroni & Cheese: Delicious! Im a huge fan of Lobster Mac & Cheese and this is the best Ive ever had. They use a cheese aged for a year and a sizable helping of lobster on top. Alexanders does not disappoint. We decided to try the Alexanders trio this time (in the picture, from top to bottom: dry aged New York, tajima F-1 wagyu, and Miyazaki wagyu). Since we were sharing, they cut each 3-ounce steak into halves. The Miyazaki award-winning wagyu was absolutely delicious and soft. Tajima was a perfect combination of flavor and sponge-y wagyu texture. The New York dry age steak was a little cold by the time I got to it, but still retained the great texture and flavor. This review is strictly to talk about the working staff. Alexanders has always been an exceptional dinner, notably a first choice over competing steak house. Would recommend a visit for experienced and newer steak-lovers. We expect a wonderful experience every visit, however, one dining experience with the staff of Justin, Sam, and Quan had made one of the best dining experience we ever had. Their welcoming character and fantastic recommendations had enhance an already fantastic dinner to a perfect night (one in which I will be telling stories about). They have left such marvelous mark on my family that I will always request for their service for my future visits back here.

I want to start off by stating this review is aimed at the establishment and management not servers.My wife and I decided to spend our 10yr anniversary at location which was definitely a mistake.The hostess was welcoming as was the server who attended to us. We ordered two cocktails to start before dinner. The steaks were as you would expect from a prestigious steakhouse, delicious. Now here’s we’re things go downhill. The second cocktail i ordered had two fruit flies in it, which I sent back immediately. They attempted to remake my cocktail and didn’t even check the next glass that they delivered to me as it too had more fruit flies. I asked to speak to a manager and no one showed up to my table. They brought out a dessert in which they pour heated caramel to dissolve a sphere of chocolate. As the server was pouring over the plate, the plate was literally surrounded by more fruit flies which ended up in the dessert itself.They server responded, “we are a very organic restaurant.” Like what does that even mean?A manager never came to our table to apologize, I guess they were too busy. The server Taylor or Tyler apologized in their absence and discounted the cocktails and desserts which we thanked him for.First impressions are everything and my wife and I will not return to this fly infested establishment again.

We liked the service, staff is nice, (I do not like the display of meat they have right in front of the entrance, reminds me of butcher shops). I had filet mignon which was great, but my husband had prime rib, and unfortunately it gave him food poisoning. In such a high-end restaurant, food poisoning is the least to expect! They have to be more cautious about the material they use. I left a message and did not receive appropriate follow up on this matter. We will not be back to this place anyway but the level of their prices should at least match an acceptable level of professionalism.

We had reservations @ 8:15pm on a Saturday and the staff must have not wanted to be there. Service was unapologetically unhelpful. They seemed to expect that we know what everything and we should just order and not ask for their recommendations. The lighting in the evening is horrible at the restaurant. If you are like me, you want to see the $250 piece of wagyu meet you just ordered. You want to see the juices and 3 types of salt clearly in full color. Nope, even after commenting out loud “lighting is bad in here isn’t it guys?” They still didn’t comment.We spent over $1300 for a meal for 4 and I would highly recommend LB Steak over this place: service, ambiance, and food.

My boyfriend was ranting and raving about Alexanders and their PERFECT service compared to another steak house (which I personally love) I had taken him to the other steakhouse and they made some minor errors, nothing to complain about, and they comped my WHOLE meal to show their sincere apology. This past Saturday we went to Alexanders and didnt have a perfect meal. Only because they brought me out the WRONG STEAK. All n all, no restaurant is perfect. No freebies here tho, just a sorry. At 6:20 when we began to order our dinner we were informed by our waiter Alexander that they were out of the $49 Prime Rib...needless to say I was very disappointed since that is my favorite cut of meat and was looking forward to having it. I asked why they were out considering it was only 6:20pm and the restaurant was only half full??? Our waiters snide remark was Sir it is Saturday night. I was puzzled and asked thats it? Its 6:20 and you are at best, half full and out of Prime Rib? Of course he had no problem at that point to try and upsell me and my other guest who wanted the same Prime Rib on the closet next steak of which was $87 or the Tomahawk shareable plate for two at $325. Unbelievable! This comment is not at all about the money we were aware of Alexanders Steakhouse and their prices. The service went down from there, our waiter came to the table only once after our food was served and another time to give us the bill. Myself and our other guest were disappointed 0n how the steak was cooked and my wife ordered the appetizer crab legs that were dry and very salty. The $17 side of mash was enough to serve only one person! The free mini Birthday cupcake for one was laughable at best. I would have expected more from such a restaurant. I feel Alexanders has lost their flare to serve the customer and provide a memorable eating experience instead have obviously put profits ahead of the customer. So disappointing.

This place speaks/demands perfection on how gourmet should be prepared. You will see choices of meat as soon as you walk in the restaurant. The bartenders are very interactive and truly provides excellent service to their customers. My favorite dish in the menu off course is their fillet minon! It’s aged to perfection. Salads are great too! At any rate, you would never be disappointed with what you order at this place. The manager at this place is such a cool guy. I would visit this place again and again. I made it out to CA in December 2019 and unbeknownst to me, I wanted to try out Alexanders Steakhouse. I had no idea anything about the restaurant other than thinking it was the average steakhouse but I was taken back by how quick and efficient the staff is. Alexanders Steakhouse is by far one of the premier restaurants that Ive had the pleasure of enjoying. I would recommend it to anybody that has money to spend or is on vacation. Definitely a lovely spot for a get together or a quiet date.

Simply put, the best steakhouse Ive ever been to. Our meal started with a little mix up, in which we were taken to be seated and then back out to the front. They quickly remedied the mistake and give us delicious, free glasses of sparkling rosé. Even excluding the free wine, the service here was great. The food was truly amazing. The tempura short rib was one of the best, if not the best, thing Ive ever eaten. I also had the aged porter house steak, which was the best steak Ive had in my life. There was so much food that I was only able to eat about half the steak. The reheated leftover beef was the second best steak Ive ever had. I would highly recommend coming here if you have a craving for aged beef.

One thing I can say is customer services is impeccable everyone is on there toes making sure service is available at any moment. It is very quiet and staff is very professional. But it was replaced with a medium rare Prime rib to die for. Our server Marshall is the consummate professional. Fully knowledgeable of the food items and he describes each dish in a way that makes you want everyone of them. He could probably make you hungry for a brick with his unique style and elegant description of food preparations and ingredients. The atmosphere is pretty upscale for its location outside a mall. The staff is quite friendly and caters to ones every need. The appetizers bring lots of unique flavors. In the end, the steak is pretty disappointing. The first wet aged bone-in rib eye was quite rare (it was ordered medium-rare). In the end, we sent it back, and the replacement had the right cook, but flavor was a little lacking and the fat seemingly took over without leaving a tender protein behind. For 60 dollars my NY strip steak was good but not great: the marbling was uneven as was the cut. The flavor was juicy and rich, but Ive had far more savory cuts at the price point. The Mac and cheese was likewise good. Solid truffle flavor, but actually a bit too creamy. If you want a good steak you wont be disappointed, but you wont be impressed either.
