There’s something special about this Mexican restaurant. Almost everything I’ve ordered over the last 20 years of coming here is superb. I have a long history of getting the beef taquitos most times though.I no longer live in the area, but I make a point to come here every time I visit.

A cute little hole in the wall place with good Mexican food. Our waiter was so welcoming and warm and made the dining experience so pleasant. You can tell a lot by the place by it’s rice and beans and this place is good. They are big portions too. Would love to come back here to try their other menu items.

I was introduced to this place by my Auntie Tina & Uncle Dave. They said their food was amazing & in fact it is! If you are looking for homeade authentic Mexican food in Lomita, this is the place to try!! Nelson has assisted me with multiple orders and provides excellent service. Ive tried ordering through door dash & by phone and both experiences with Nelson were beyond satisfactory. Definitely recommending this place to others and today my coworkers tried it & rate it a 10/10. So far Ive had their menudo, pozole, and caldo de res and all have been comforting and affordable. Their servings are more than enough.

MY FAVORITE MEXICAN PLACE. PERIOD. Seriously, im genuinely upset i didnt discover this place sooner. Each item on the menu is unique and that is something i never thought id say about a mexican joint. I enjoy the coastal mexican selection with many seafood and vegetarian options. But everything from the rice, beans, tortillas, SPICY salsa, is all homemade with love. I LOVE this place. Out door seating. Suuuuper safe neighborhood and technically city of lomita. DO NOT CONFUSE IT WITH THE RESTAURANT OF THE SAME NAME ON NARBONNE. i havent been to that one but i dont need to experiment anymore. This place is it. The real deal. The last stop. Just go. Now. I ordered the quesadilla with shredded beef and it was really good but it was very greasy the drinks are good as the ice is crushed. Would recommend to anyone who wants mexican. The prices are high as the quesadilla was like 12 dollars.

We had a wonderful server, Gabriella, who was not only friendly, but made wonderful suggestions when we didnt know what we wanted. She was so courteous and seemed to know exactly what we needed when we needed it, water, ice tea, everything. I just love the food there, especially their wet burritos. It is is prepared and presented beautifully. You can have them any way you like and the portions are amazing! Even the leftovers the following morning still tasted as fresh as they were made the night before. My friend and I have been there before, but I really felt I needed to review them this time because I want everyone to know what a great place Alfredos is.

Had the deluxe huevos rancheros with green chili and a Michelada. Best ever. Service was over the top. Drove 350 miles to have a good breakfast near the coast and this was better than expected. Will be on my list of places to must have while in CA. Thank you so much Nelson.

Surprisingly good food. Salsa is spicy and service is good. Ive driven by this place for forever and finally gave it a try. They have beer and that fake alcohol stuff. But they still make a decent bloody mary. Ill definitely be back to check out other menu items.

Worst margaritas Ive ever had! Tasted like fake lime juice mixer. I couldnt even finish it. I ordered Juevos Rancheros. They were made with store bought sauce. No pico de gallo, no cheese on the beans, no sour cream. The salsa and chips were good. The waiter was fantastic! Too bad the food is not. We wont go again.

This place has consistently had the best food ever for years! I used to dine in here,years ago with my best friend. The food was great back then, and still great now.I use uber eats frequently and this place is one of my families favorites.Some places are sloppy, send you leaky bags,and a mess. The food here is consistently packaged well for to go orders.Go ahead and order those enchiladas and wet burritos, the food will arrive,neatly,still in the container.The food is so tasty, and fresh.The portions are generous and the prices are great. Feeding a family of four can be a bit steep financially, but this place is budget friendly.We have ordered many items, wet burritos,tortas,tacos, quesadillas and it was all good.Nothing was disappointing.I love milanesa tortas, and not many places serve milanesa. This place does and its the best. If you enjoy spicy food,the chile/ salsa is pretty good.If you want some tasty Mexican food,come here.

Sat on the enclosed patio off PCH and enjoyed the good food while traffic went rushing by. A great place to avoid sitting in traffic...the Tostada Salad was delish. My partner had the burrito combo plate. Monica is a sweetheart; highly attentive. Definitely stop in! Sorry no photos...totally forgot and we ate it so fast.

Stopped here knowing nothing about the place and, WOW!! Great food and the friendliest service we have had in a long time. The carnitas was incredible - moist, tender, and juicy - not overcooked and almost crunchy like it is at so many places. We will definitely be back, and very soon!

Great food and friendly service make for a local Mexican restaurant Im sure to visit again and again. I recently moved in down the street and stopped on my way home for a bits with the wife. I got the beef fajitas which arrive at the table sizzling in cast iron and she got a chicken burrito. While I thought the chicken burrito was a little bland the beef fajitas were fantastic! I cant wait to try more items on the menu in coming weeks and months.

The food here is incredible and so is the customer service! I’ve had the fish tacos and they are great with the special chipotle mayo sauce. The chips always taste good and they never hesitate to give you extra! The tamales, taquitos and crispy beef tacos were all amazing. Alfredos is just consistently good. Its near my office so Ive had the chance to try many things on the menu and Im never disappointed. The food is average ( I dont consider it the best). The parking lot is too small and the spaces are too close together. Its difficult to maneuver in this lot. They dont have A/C, just ceiling fans so during a heatwave its stifling and uncomfortable. The prices are comparable to the food quality.

I love the flavor of their salsa, it is slightly sweet and spicy. great with chips. The owner is always really friendly, and service oriented. I can tell he likes to feed people. I have always enjoyed their wet chicken burrito with verde sauce with little bit of beans and rice with sour cream and guacamole. It is flavorful and I am never disappointed with it. The carne asada tacos are good too. A good value for the money. Not expensive. You can eat inside or on the patio. I always feel comfortable there.

My third time at Alfredos Mexican restaurant Pacific Coast Highway corner of Pennsylvania Avenue my wife and I love their food we get cheese enchilada beans and rice and a beef taco and they use Molle sauce on the enchiladas thats why the food probably tastes great. Theres another fraedos restaurant on Narbonne in Lomita I havent been to that one yet. So if youre hungry and you like good Mexican food and youre in Torrance Lomita or Harbor City this is a place you want to go to and get a good meal!! They also serve 🍺 🍸alcohol.... I highly recommend this place.

Alfredos is always good. Dont expect California fresh type fare, more traditional beans and rice dishes although they do have some authentic Yucatan main entrees. Right now there is just one girl working the counter/patio so the or thing is hustling so dont be in a hurry if you sit outside. I like supporting this little restaurant that has been a staple in lomita, so if you get a chance please do the same!

If you have no experience as a native with Mexican food you might like this place, but as an experienced person with many years of eating Mexican... The Cochinita Pibil (which is pork) was diluted with sauce, very little meat and mostly fat and lard chunks. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail was overcooked almost rubbery with chilli. Most seafood restaurants dont add chili because they leave that up to you and it masks the natural flavor. In this case I could not find any flavor aside from the chili they added.
