Delicious place to go! I use to come here when I was a child. Finally came with my kiddos and it was a hit! So cool to know the original owners I knew over 20yrs ago. Still own it and their kids now help. Food was amazing! Allstar burger, bacon Allstar burger, fries, onion rings and the Philly cheese steak sandwich were delish and their sauce is fire. Worth the prices and cook to order. We will be visiting way more often now!

This is a little hidden gem. The burgers are delicious and cooked to order the breakfasts are also cooked perfectly Nathan and all the ladies are friendly didnt catch all of their names but they bring smiles and kindness to the restaurant.Highly recommend.

I wanted a Mom ‘n Pop greasy spoon burger, onion rings, and a delicious handmade shake, and that’s exactly what I got. The cashier was friendly, the order was perfect and accurate, and they don’t skimp on beef or condiments. I’ll eat here every time I come back to the area. Thanks, ladies!

I can only speak on behalf of ordering the Philly cheese steak which was very delicious. The atmosphere was nice however padded seats would be a plus versus the wooden benches. The service was pretty good.

Best little hole in the wall, greasy spoon burger joint around!!I used to drive past this place and see people in there and think one day in going to stop and eventually I did, then I thought......I could kick myself for every time I kept going right past ALLSTAR BURGER!!! Now even if I just finished eating Im still stopping. Im never to full for a med strawberry shake out a piece of that heavenly cheesecake!!!Although for Christmas I think Im going to give them my gym membership bill!!🤣🤣🤣

Better than 4 stars but not quite 5. Very generous servings. Burger and fries were both big. I could barely finish it all. Burger was a typical fried burger, not my favorite type, but everything was done right. Good quality bread and produce and the bread fit the patty. Fries were possibly the best Ive ever had. Crispy and golden brown. Workers were friendly and the location was clean, except for the floor by the soda machine. Good food and great value. Ill definitely return.

This place reminded me of a local drive-thru in Florida; a place I always visit when I return to Florida. The atmosphere was cute and the staff was welcoming.I ordered the bacon cheeseburger combo meal. Items are cooked fresh and as you can tell from the photo, they did not hold back on the bacon. This burger was one of the best of our trip up to this point. Not the best I have ever had but definitely a great burger, especially at its price point.I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite.

The kind of mom and pop place everyone wishes was still around. Good food at great value. Oil is fresh in all the friers. The milkshakes are huge and taste like what you remember Wendy’s frosties taste like in the ‘90s. I’ll take Allstar I’ve InNOut any day.

I was very pleased with the service, they prepares my food in a timely matter. The food was fresh and hot. There were many items too choose from on the menu and the pricing fit the order. Id choose this place over other fast food places. If I lived closer this would visit here often. The atmosphere was quiet. It had a small dining area. The One and only small problem was that I had to ask for something to wipe the table but a worker came right away and cleaned it for me. I give this place a 4 and 3/4out of 5 stars.

No frills, just grills. Love that burger: crispy bun, charbroiled beef patty, fresh onion, tomato and lettuce. Pickles might improve it but there are jalapenos available. Fries and onion rings are good. Place is a little run down and needs upgrading but its surviving.

This is THE burger place. Dont waste your time anywhere else.The building doesnt need to be fancy. Everyone doesnt need to be in matching uniforms. The food doesnt need to be in your hands in 15 seconds.If the burger is good (and this one is), its worth waiting 5 minutes for your burger to be cooked on a grill. Its worth driving a little bit out of the way. It is a decent little diner joint. They have breakfast dinner food and a few burgers, dogs, and sandwiches to choose from. It is really showing its age with old menu board, faded specials sheets, and interior. I paid over $30 so dont expect inexpensive food. May want to just hit up a fast food place. There were several patrons but I didnt see what food they were buying to see if there was a trend.

Friendly, fast, professional service (in person or over the phone) and a warm, welcoming, nostalgic diner atmosphere. Maybe most importantly, the burgers are phenomenal. Fresh, well-seasoned, good size. Best fries (with the most generous portions!) in the Southeast Bay area. When its cold enough to eat chili, I highly recommend the chili cheeseburger. Very reasonable prices too, despite inflation and other increases in the price of ingredients (such as beef).

Might be a whole in the wall, but it is divine! I absolutely love this place. I’m vegetarian, and their Harvester burger is 🔥🔥🔥 I love that you can pretty much customized your burger to your liking and dietary needs. I first came with my coworkers, then we told the rest of our coworkers and came back again. I then went with my partner whose comfort food is burgers. It was so good, we went again with their sister. Today, was the first time I had their breakfast veggie omelette and it did not disappoint. I freaking love this place and I will forever recommend this place to anybody looking for one of the best burgers in the Bay Area. The staff is wonderful and they make sure you have everything you need. As I told them this morning, I will be coming back! 😁

Sometimes simple is best and, with these burgers, I cant agree more. When you see people that have been getting their burger fix all their life from this place, you know youve found something special.Some people love crazy stacked high burgers that have their secret ingredient or something.This place is different. After capturing photons at the old Dumbarton Bridge, I was getting really hungry and driving around trying to find someplace to eat. Saw Allstar and decided to try it.Old timey homestyle diner, but a great menu. And very reasonably priced. Better than a fast-food chain on taste and value. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger and fries. Very good.My only regret is that I dont live or work close enough to just drop in for lunch more often. But you can bet that when I am in the area, and in need of some calories, Ill be going back here.Oh yeah, they serve breakfast all day, so next time I am in there, Im trying the 3-egger.

First time eating at this little spot. Its a lot like nations but with ice cream instead of pies. They have breakfast lunch or dinner and my sandwich was wonderful. We didnt have too long of a wait. I have been coming here for years as I lived in Newark my whole life. Whenever I am hungry this is definitely a top choice to go to, the other place in Mewark is Arteagas Taqueria, but this place is top notch, might not look like it but it is. I get a 2 egger, pastrami sandwich, or a bacon cheeseburger, all 3 choices leave your stomach satisfied and wanting more. This is a go to spot. The people that work there are also very nice and know people who cone regularly by name making it feel like a comfortable place to eat.

First thing.. the chili fries were so freaking GOOD! The fries were still a bit crispy even under the gooey cheese and meaty chili. That def hit the spot, the chili was very flavourful, meaty and not too many beans. My strawberry shake was nice and thick, they even have me a BIG N WIDE straw to accommodate that delicious and thick shake.The service was quick, pleasant and well priced for what I got. Been wanting to try this place since we moved down the street. Its a mom and pop place that seems to be a local fave and with good reason. The food is fresh cooked to order and really tasty. We tried their bacon cheese burger and the fried chicken combo. Chicken was crisp to perfection and burger was just the right size with a perfect balance on ingredients. Everyone in my household was pleased and my 3yr old finished her food without compromising, Ill definitely be back.

Diane and Fonda made our morning. Food was good. Service was great and filled with charming smiles. Location was easy to find, very convenient. For the money we paid, we received a lot of food. Probably the best burger in Northern California to be honest. They were closed for SO long during covid and my boyfriend and I are stoked theyve stayed open for so long. I have gone to this place and eaten their breakfast dishes and burgers. I frankly do not see the attraction. Breakfast dishes are average at best and burgers are ok. The decor is just a regular old-style diner setting and nothing spectacular. I see how locals like it as the cashiers are very friendly. Only go back because they are close to my work location

The place was not as neat as i expected. 20 minuets passed burger was not ready. I went to the front and found out she forgot to send in the written order. Burger finally came but it tasted nothing special. The fries was spread all over the tray and it did not differ from a fast food chain quality.
