2023-09-20 15:20:32Higher end prices but for the quality of the food its understood. Be prepared to wait 10 minutes if its busy, the kitchen is tiny and theyre hustling. The Menu rotates a bit which I like, addresses freshest local ingredients and keeps me trying new things. The presentation is lovely, everything Ive had so far is delicious and beautiful. Drinks, salads, soups, avocado toast. Tables for 4, seating inside and out. I order to go and walk to the library or similar to enjoy at my leisure on a bench. Also breakfast all day which is a big deal to find around here!

2023-10-03 06:10:52I’ve been coming to Amara Kitchen pretty often since moving into the neighborhood. I get the breakfast burrito all the time - typically it’s good and makes for a filling brunch. Although lately, it’s been kinda disappointing. The last 3 times I ordered it they somehow managed to “forget” my order and I have to wait even longer for my food. While that’s totally fine, the end result is that I get a sloppily made burrito that falls apart the moment I hold it up. It’s just not great service :(

2023-06-15 19:00:49Nice clean place. Has a NY/Brooklyn coffee shop vibe to it but unfortunately you might not be able to get a seat. Staff were OK but you could tell they really werent the friendly type. Unfortunately I had hair in the middle of chowing down the buckwheat pancakes. Decent visit but not again which is unfortunate.

2023-11-01 18:34:17Good service. But if youre used to regular buttermilk pancakes and not vegan/healthy food choices, this place is not for you. The almond paleo pancakes were...different for my palate since I have never had such pancakes before. It came with pistachos, butter, syrup, and some compote which was not the best flavor in my opinion. I do not recommend this plate for those like me who are not familiar with the acquired taste. The breakfast burrito was okay, nothing to rave about. It did come with a lot of avocado mash so that is a plus. The iced matcha latte with the house milk was not good. It lacked flavor and was drying to the mouth.Other than that, the service was good and fast. The employees seemed nice and the ambient was great. Parking can be found on the street.I only recommend this place if you are looking for healthy breakfast options. If youre looking for your standard American breakfast, I suggest Russells.

2023-07-27 00:41:36Stopped by for a cool icy drink after biking. Its been a scorcher lately...105 degrees. Iced cold brew hit the spot. They have nice healthy lunch options. It was too hot for food so I decided to stick w my ice 🧊 coffee. Treated myself to their pumpkin seed cookie. It was yummy!Cute little neighborhood coffee spot within the Altadena area.

2023-02-12 03:16:17What a beautiful place in the neighborhood! And the food and drinks are incredibly delicious. We had the falafel wrap and the spicy chicken and oatmilk matcha. Very nice outside and inside area for slowing down with a book or having a nice chat with a friend. We can’t wait to be back!

2021-05-08 22:39:45Great little restaurant! A friend of mine recommended the Highland Park location, so I was exited to try out the one coming to ‘dena! The line was short, the place was really clean and pretty, all of the employees kept their social distance and wore masks, and the bathrooms were really nice. All of the food was absolutely delicious, almost all of it is vegetarian all though there are some meat options, and everything is locally sourced! The orange juice tasted like someone was squeezing an actual orange into my mouth. There are no outdoor seating options yet, so my mother and I walked over to triangle park and they texted us when the food was ready. Overall, excellent experience, 10/10 would recommend, felt totally COVID safe, and the food was delicious!

2021-12-20 19:22:31Always great to have options for paleo, gluten free, dairy free that ACTUALLY taste good and aren’t a pain to ask for. The buckwheat and paleo pancakes were both very tasty. The burritos were also very tasty even with the gluten free wrap which had been a bit tough to find at times. Excited to check out more of their options.

2023-08-02 18:13:58Went to this local spot with a friend out of town on 7/27. The cashier was so busy chatting up the barista, she eventually realised we were there. Ordered the falafel wrap to go. The food was ok - the wrap was place on top of an over dressed salad - making it soggy. The falafel was dry, and the cucumbers were cut so large i had to cut them smaller. The place is cute, was suprised thr air conditioner was turned so low considering this appears to be a hyppish place. Friend pointed out there was a person towards the back parkef in a spot with laptop and BARE feet.
