This place is only open for food for reptiles, and such.. So whatever u do don’t waste time going there if are looking to purchase a reptile... 3 stars for lack of info and one of the staffers a guy having an “it’s ur problem attitude since I didn’t check social media”, not everybody uses social media” .. Google maps is a probably the best place to check since everyone uses maps to find their destination.. Teach ur your young adults to have better customer service..

The go to spot in the IE and beyond I live in Kern county and I drive out to get Super worms and have my beardie checked out by them I made my purchase from them at the start and they have had some stale moments based off the employees that work their but never the less a great place I got my dragon at about 3 months on or younger she is now 3 yrs old I’m going to snap some pics of her and post them but never the less 4.6 star rating from me just cause I’ve had some rude customer service in the past

Weve purchased over 8 reptiles from this store. Their staff is always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing is also very reasonable. They have a wide variety to choose from and all necessary supplies are always in stock. Our 6 year old daughters love to visit and look at all of the new additions they have each month.

This is a great place to go for food for your reptile. The selection is always outstanding. The insects are healthy and inexpensive. Right now they are incubating my bearded dragon eggs for me which is an awesome service they offer. You dont pay upfront for them to do this for you. All you need to do is bring your eggs in. Nice staff. Super helpful. I wont forget to mention they have very interesting reptiles in the store.

The whole store is closed off, it’s just a counter you walk up to, good for just buying feeders and such. If you’re going here I’d recommend knowing what you want before you get to the store.

Love this place. Reptiles are priced well, they have live feeders including rats, mice, roaches, super worms, crickets, and sometimes other worms like silk worms. The staff is incredible. Ive been coming here for 3 years and bought my fiance his first snake here. I have 2 of my own. Great temperament, color, 2 years later and no health issues. The staff are very down to earth and will answer any questions you have. Great people for the experienced and beginner reptile/amphibian owner. Highly recommend.
I used to live locally and this was my go to reptile place. I feel like they had more variety back in the day, now it’s mostly bearded dragons, ball pythons and rhinoceros iguanas. All are awesome, I just remember them having a huge variety of different reptiles. Staff was nice though.
Ive been going here for over 15 years for food and reptile accessories for the many different reptiles Ive had over the year and is by the best around. Not too many places offer larger feeder rats for my snakes and this place is always stocked up and the people there are very friendly and helpful with the questions I may have. Highly recommended
We visited for the first time to get some feeders for our pets. The reptiles they have are so healthy and gorgeous, it was so hard not to add another to our family of pets! They have a great selection of habitats and tanks, hides, food and supplies. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We saw young moms with toddlers showing the kids the reptiles, and there was useful info written on enclosures. Impressive Overall!
My son loved this place. We were able to walk around and look at all the reptiles. The 2 gentleman there were really welcoming and gave us a bit of information on our leopard gecko. We will definitely be going back.

Best shop around! Great customer service, there is sometimes a line but they knock it out relatively quick. Feeder prices are pretty low. Animals always look healthy and cages are always clean! The staff are all friendly.

This business is so helpful and they know so much about reptiles. They have always been amazing and helpful. We have 4 reptiles and if we arent sure about something they will help us. Many of the employees have reptiles. They also will trim their nails and they have a surrender so if you cant keep your dragon anymore, you can leave it there.

Drove 30 minutes to get here and they don’t allow anyone to look in the store. It’s basically a walk up window with a huge line on a Monday afternoon. I need time to decide which snake I would like to purchase, and don’t want to be rushed by the people in line. Find a better way to do your business.
Okay my kids n husband wanted to see a snake eat a mouse. U pay 1 or 2 dollars n theyll let u watch. So i screamed surprised it was a big mouse not a tiny white mouse. As soon as the aquarium was opened the snake snatched the mouse. Again, i screamed. It was so fast i grabbed my daughter pulling her back. I thought it got the staff too. I let feeling like i got off a roller coaster. Stomach dropped n nauseated.
Been going here for years, some extremely knowledgeable staff and they take great care of the animals. Even the feeders (mice, etc.) are in good condition and very healthy. We had our snakes eggs hatched here too.

I love this place been coming here for about 3+ years, Ive never had a problem with the insects I buy for my bearded dragon from mealworms, crickets, superworms, silkworms, hornworms,roaches,etc. My bearded dragon has never shown signs of parasites, his recent most favorite are the silkworms he always goes for them first 🥇 recommend to all reptile owners very affordable...Ps. Came in and purchased a high end snake. I had a perfect enclosure for the snake and also left for a week before handling and feeding but the snake wouldnt eat. They said their return policy on reptiles was 14 days. So I call them after trying 3 feeding attempts and they said its my fault for not housing it in a snake rake.I was shocked. So I told them if your snakes only eat in snake racks you should specify before I spent $450 on your snake. They told me to bring It In. The manager who I believe was the owner (skinny guy with shorty gray hair) was extremely rude. As soon as he saw why I was there, he said Im not in the business of returning snakes. So I said Im not in the business of getting ripped off. He reluctantly took it back and gave me $100 less in store cedit. So I lost a $100 to these people for bad customer service and a stubborn snake.
Great place good parking good knowledgeable staff great selection been open for years definitely worth the drive even if its just for feeders you could spend hours just looking around the store. I recommend it over some of the newer shops in the area. Go with whats been there for a while . experiance pays double.They even helped me out by taking in some animals I couldnt take care of because of hardships I had due to the course of schizoaffective disorder. Long story short they know what thier doing and definitely put the animals care and needs first. Thank you .

Cool place but i had to wait 10 mins or more to be serviced the owner and several employees were too interested in a snake a customer brought in as the line got longer and longer but that was just that one day but it was very annoying so i cant give more stars

Ive been going all over since I moved from Riverside to try to find a good enough reptile store to continue shopping at. And I wish I had walked into this place first. The owner of the store was extremely knowledgeable. They have a full stock of any pet supplies that you could need for your reptile. As well as they are extremely Humane stood a feeder mice and well take care of that part for you. I think I will keep coming back to the store unless it closes
Very rude. Every time I go in to ask a question theyre always in a hurry. I went in and bought a few things and they double charged me. I was waiting for someone to help me and instead of them asking if i needed help they asked if I was waiting for someone like if I was bothering them. I wont ever go back again. I recommend Jurassic Let Supply in Pomona off of white.
I went in to buy a snake last year just before covid hit and the gal that helped me was so rude I ended up walking out without buying it. But its the only place around that has rats and mice that I can feed my snakes otherwise I would never go in there again.
Good customer service they have good deals i bought two baby leopard geckos for $25 each thats a great deal ! The only sad thing is that they keep them in sand and the babies do eat it because both poop sand for the first few days.

Owner and the blonde with the faded tattoos always have attitude. I went there for years and just dealt with them always being in a bad mood. Wanted to buy a tegu. Had the money with me. Asked to hold 1 so I can see his temperament and had the owner snap at me that This wasnt a fkn petting zoo. That was the last time I went there. Reptile island in Rancho Cucamonga is cleaner, better selection, infinitely better service. Its always a great visit to reptile island. Ill never give another dime to Amazon unless they sell to new owners.

I went in just to look at what they had because a friend had recommended this place.When i first walked in i was kind of blown away at the amount and variety they had. I loved the fact that they had these store pets that had been with them a while, like Gunner (their huge Rhino Iguana), to me that shows dedication and that they care for their reptiles. One of their Chinese Water Dragons caught my eye so i asked about him, learned he was a rescue that they had and that he was kind of an employee favorite. I took a few minutes to think and decided to take him home that day. Its been a little over a week since then, and im very happy about the little guy i chose as the new addition to my family (Now named Shenron)He has never acted aggressive towards me and will even climb up into my hand and sit on my shoulder while i clean his habitat. He loves his super worms and for some reason, every time Family Guy comes on he will rush to the end of the couch, sit there and watch until the end. Overall very happy with Amazon Reptile Center, and will definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase a very well kept reptile or supplies at the best prices ive seen.

Their animals are amazing but the people suck. They could be a lot more polite. The guy I tried to buy a Monitor Lizard from made me feel I was incapable of taking care of him and turned me away from my purchase.
I had purchased my first lizard from here, a baby Tegu. After 7 days, the animal just died. He had a perfect enviroment. He was eating. He shed the day after I got him. He was in good health as far as we could tell. When I found he was no longer alive, I froze him in a ziploc baggy and then brought him into the store. They said that they were very sorry and they gave me a new lizard. I have had zero problems with this lizard (besides an attitude that is being worked on.) I get my ball pythons food from here as well as crickets for my spider and baby tevu. My tegu should be eating pinkys soon. I love Amazon. The staff are so nice and helpful.

I bought an African spurred tortoise on the 18th of january 2018 for my sons birthday. I asked the reptile employees how to care and take care of my new tortoise. Sold me rabbit pellets for the tortoises substrate (bedding), bought basking light and uv light. They said to just feed my tortoise Romane lettus and sprinkle calcium powder they sold me on EVERYTIME I feed him. On the way home I noticed a small ripple in his shell (at time didnt know what to look for or realize that crack was a bad thing). Get home, get enclosure set up. Next day my tortoise kept rubbing his eyes a lot, I took him back to reptile shop to get eyes looked at and lady said they were perfectly fine, I also ask her if I need a night time heat lamp and ahe said no JUST TURN OFF ALL THE LIGHTS. I go home and start posting pictures of my new tortoise. After talking to tortoise keepers and breeders....all the care instructions the reptile shop told me was WRONG. Not supposed to use rabbit food for bedding, way too dry and it molds and it also is very dusty. 2nd, I AM supposed to have a night heat lamp for my tortoise which I had to go buy after the fact. 3rd, tortoises are supposed to eat more than just Romane lettus and calcium is not given every single time they eat, you can over do it on calcium doing that. And last but not least the ripple/crack in the shell is not supposed to be there and no I have to have the stress and worry to fix the shell. Everything the reptile told me on how to care for my new tortoise was soooooo wrong and I have had nothing but stress since the day I got him because of the wrong care instructions. I really hope they stop giving wrong care advice and instructions because my tortoise could have technically gotten very sick and probably would have died. Thanks to people who actually know what their talking about my tortoise is still alive.

2021-04-24 18:29:51Ive been coming to this shop since 2007! It has always been clean and kept well. The employees are always a wealth of knowledge. When you take a closer look you will see that the excellence comes from the owner Mike. Over the years not much has changed, maybe a couple faces but the experience has always been great. Employees are always helpful and friendly. Service always prompt even when there can be lines out the door. They always ask if you have a set up if you want to just buy an animal from them. They have an obligation to the animal to ensure it gets to a good responsible home but it is awesome that they check. After making sure the animal has the things it needs even if you purchased products elsewhere they will HAPPILY sell you the animal. I think anyone that has come to this shop more than once know how amazing it is. From low feeder prices, to great service, healthy animals, and FREE knowledge; you cant go wrong shopping here. Definitely check them out if you are a local or on the fence about making the drive, it is worth it.

2023-06-17 18:05:01Amazing store for reptile owners! The store is small, but otherwise is a wonderful business. They offer a variety of pet reptiles raised by knowledgeable employees. They offer a wide variety of feeders(dubias, superworms, mice, rats, hornworms, and more) for a fair price.Always a great experience at the Amazon Reptile Center and the staff is very friendly and can answer almost all of my questions.

2023-04-24 20:51:36I’ve been coming to this pet store for about five years now and I haven’t gone to another reptile store since finding this one! I’ll be honest… Popsicle was what sold me on coming to the store and even though he’s gone to a sanctuary, I haven’t stopped coming to this store. The owner Mike and his staff are always very nice and always willing to answer any questions or worries I have for my creatures. Their prices are VERY reasonable considering a feeder mouse purchased from petco cost $6! Thank all of you at the store, I appreciate you all for helping and guiding me through my pet journey!
