Saw Oppenheimer here at the IMAX Theater. Our seats were not very comfortable and needed to recline a little bit more so as not to have to have to keep straining our neck to look up. Sound was awesome but the overall experience was on the negative side. Maybe the seats above row C are better?

This theater was newly built.New comfortable seats.The place looks great, been here a couple of times and the staff has always been accommodating.
We visited this place 4 months ago and watched the movie “Encanto”. This AMC theatre is bigger than the AMC theatre at Ontario Mills. The movie screens are wider than the Ontario Mills’ AMC theatre and the seats look like more comfortable. We bought tickets online therefore we didn’t have to wait to get in. The overall experience was good. Hopefully, we’ll come here soon to enjoy movies.
Enjoyed the movie experience with my son. Had a good time. I would give five stars but I ordered food to my seat and never got my order 😔
I enjoy going here. This is my favorite AMC theater. All seats are recliners with a little table attached to them. I like ordering food ahead of time and they bring it to your seat. The screens are a good size. Very well kept up theater.
Beautiful theater. I connect my EV and by the time the movie is over, my car is fully charged. Like the IMAX. Hate the coke at the movie theater, so I have to go to the food court for dinner before watching the movie. Miss having a coke and popcorn while watching a movie but thats the only problem. They have a balcony that oversees the EV charging station. Great for a nice dinner if they could fix the terrible soda machine.... Did I mention the soda machine is terrible, lol. I do go to another theater just to have coke and popcorn but I prefer the screen at the AMC

The food came out late, I paid for a special box for one entrepreneur to come in and it did not, the popcorn was stale, and when you order a burger protein style (no bun) they dont even wrap it in lettuce. It is literally a patty with toppings. That being said, the food was tasty and the seats were comfortable. But, my tray had greasy smudges and a crumb on it. So they obviously dont clean very well.
Beautifully designed. Spacey and simple but elegant. Chairs and tables in the waiting/common area, and the way they are placed, bring a relaxed atmosphere and also comfort. Easy access to the parking lot is a big plus. The handicapped parking spots are very close to the building and this is really good for the elderly moviegoers. Great crews also, polite and helpful.

I went to go see Oppenheimer in IMAX at this theater and I didnt get to enjoy the movie since my neck was hurting and I couldnt get comfortable because the seat barely reclined. I sat in row E11 which I thought were good center seats for myself and family but I was wrong. I definitely shouldve gotten seats more in back so we couldve enjoyed the movie.
TLDR: First visit. I will return. There are many amenities I like and mostly enjoyed my experience, but I have some concerns.This is a brand new multi-theater with all the best audio and video enhanced theaters (not all of them)--something that makes a difference to me--but expect to pay more for the privilege.Theres a lounge area including a nice outdoor balcony where you can eat or gather before/after your movie.This is a dine-in theater so you can get a salad or burger besides popcorn or candy. With the app you can get it delivered to your seat. Keep in mind that this means people walking in during the movie.Theres also a bar (not open for the matinee).I didnt eat/drink so I cant review the food, but the prices are high.What concerns me are1. The seats are narrow and difficult to get in/out because of the small table attached. (see pictures) AMC points to these seats as adjustable but theyre just ok. The Regal theater seats one exit away are more comfortable, adjustable, and wider (but without the high end audio/video)2. It wasnt as clean as it should have been.AMC promotes the disinfecting and cleaning after each showing, but there were pieces of popcorn on a few seats and many of the attached tables were obviously unclean.This was at a 2.30pm showing, not the end of the day which wouldnt matter anyway. I alerted a staff member who said she would send someone--no one came. I took a few clorox wipes they have at the doors and did it myself.At the end of our movie, 4 people did come in to clean but it didnt look like they were as thorough as I hoped.3. Masking isnt mandatory & close seating.Two very talkative guys sat next to us without masks. Someone eating at their seat wont be wearing a mask. And theres no distance between seats. Obviously the seating was planned pre COVID, but really?Reserved seating means you can arrive just before the start, no longer having to wait in a long line for a popular movie, but dont expect to just walk up or find a seat on opening weekends because people have grabbed all the good seats via the app days/weeks in advance.Restrooms are clean and spacious, but this wasnt a busy time. Ill update.
Amazing experience! Loved the recliner chairs, they extend pretty far, which was a Godsend since I got my Super Mario tickets a bit late and had seats in the C row. Food was surprisingly good for theatre food, I will definitely order the crispy chicken burger again with loaded fries! I used the app, which was super easy and it was delivered directly to our seats! Kids loved everything as well, best movie experience I’ve had in my life. Also, came back to a fully charged Tesla since they had the Volta chargers in the AMC parking lot, need I say more?
I love this theatre! The facility is always clean, has friendly staff, has good food, and offers a great selection of movies on a regular basis.
A newish theater so everything is still incredibly fresh and clean. Bathrooms are kept tidy. Concession lines go quickly. Heated recliners are so unnecessarily decadent but Ive never needed a sweater 😅
I had a great experience. I arrived early, purchased tickets then walked through the mall.The theater seats were great and the personnel were friendly.I would recommend this theater.

The movie theater was great BUT the nachos there got me and my girlfriend sick. I would say DO NOT get any food there except the popcorn. Nachos got us sick and we’re still recovering 3 days later.
Im not too fond of it when they make people go out when they arrive early on. Just clean it so that visible The people who tend the theater need to know that four people wash the whole theater, and if it is still dirty, that is not okay to send people outside when they already waiting inside.Please be aware of this.
Don’t count on them using the ac when seeing a movie on a hot day. This is the second time.. we also brought it up to staff.. never turned it on. It was 79 degrees in the I max theater tonight. Ridiculous. Just hang out in the lobby. It’s nice and cool there
Loved the heated seats! However, the seats in the larger theaters should be heated too! Good food and overall good experience.
Staff is really friendly, food was tasty and hot, popcorn was fresh, seats were comfy too. Bartender made a good old fashion.
This AMC is really nice. The staff are also nice as well. The audio went out for one of the movies we went to see and they gave us free tickets.
Paid for seats/food in advance and getting in was very seamless and easy. Seating itself was very comfortable and it was pleasant having the food brought to you, and the wait wasnt long either.The food was good as well and was a good portion for the price.
Loved it, the only problem I had was my hip kept turning on the heated seat button. (Im not petite.) But the seats were comfortable, and the experience was good all around except that one thing.
Recliners were comfortable, screen was big, popcorn was good. Price was expensive though. If you want movies on the cheap, this might not be the place.
This is a great movie theater the lines are fast the seats are the best but there still pretty comfortable I would rate this a good place to go to on a date
One of the nicer and more modern looking AMCs in the area! Thanks to AMC A-list, Im consistently going here two or three times a week and have seen dozens of movies here. The IMAX screen is amazing in Aisle E, and Dolby Digital is captivating as can be.
The staff are helpful and nice. Dolby theater auditorium 2 has several indentions in the screen as if someone took a BB gun at it, so if you care about picture quality then be warned.
This is the nicest theatre. Seat warmers, reclining seats, attached table, bar, seat delivery and they even have vegan options. Awesome place

Best movie theater out there, definitely beats out regal with cleanliness and space, prices are expensive but that’s what you can expect at a high end movie theatre such as AMC. Great movie selections, went for Spider-Man: No Way Home, they had tons of different viewing options as well as time availability. Going to see Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness in a week, super excited.

My family and I watch movies two or three times a month the only thing that We dont like about this theater is when you pre-order popcorn or any type of food and give it a certain time, for the past three times .I have receive the order 15 to 20 minutes late from the time I request. So I will have to go down to the and pick up myself and miss 5 to 7 min of the movie, depending on the employee.But is it a nice clean Theater. Good customer service. Still my favorite one.

This atmosphere in this recently renovated amc was just what I feel was needed to beat this heat and I can not complain at all. I love the fact that they have different viewing options of Dolby sound and picture options. Saw black widow here and also saw it at a competitor and Id say amc won this round.
Went to see a movie and ordered dinner for the family. My daughters order didn’t arrive. They had run out of mozzarella sticks. We had ordered them hours ago. They never notified us ahead of time.So I had to leave my food to get cold and miss part of the movie to go order something else. The chicken wings were $2 more. I asked that we be comped that difference because of the hassle. They declined. That’s bad service in my opinion.
First time here for the Barbie movie not enough stock of Barbies and Barbie cars my niece couldn’t get one, no Barbie box or displays for picture time like other theaters . My seat was dirty and the table was all sticky.

The service is good.... employees are helpful, and the seating OH MY GOODNESS reclining sofa leather seats... however I do warn you do not go to the AMC theater tired I guarantee you will fall asleep! Im sooo guilty of that...the seat was that comfortable!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this amazing movie night! Food is super pricey. I recommend this AMC DINE-IN at the Montclair Plaza!!
I love the fact that they serve awesome drinks and we bought our tickets ahead of time so very easy.
Their imax has great sound and image, making for a wonderful viewing experience, however I had to clean off my tray which was all sticky.
Great place to catch a movie. The theaters are clean, sound quality is excellent, the seats are very comfortable and you can order food and snacks to your seat. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Cool experience but pricey. Went to see the new Avatar movie (3D). Ordered food to get the full experience. Food was decent, service was great. Threatre was clean except for grease/popcorn butter on seat, which was quickly cleaned when I informed the crew. Would recommend for the experience. Spent a little over $200 for tickets, food and drinks for a family of 5.
If you are looking for inefficient operations this is your place. Stale popcorn? Give this place a try. The movie time was scheduled for 2:30 At 2:50 still nothing. Super bad service. Why bother pretending to have an express line for preferred guests if you can’t even start the movie. Filthy facilities. Last time I’m coming here.
Beware of AMC, we purchased tickets online for a movie and they canceled the movie. They did not notify me of the canceled movie. I asked to have my tickets refunded and they failed to refund the whole amount I paid. According to amc employees they do not refund the convenience fee you pay online. Not only did they not refund me but admitted they cancel movies all the time and never refund the full amount paid online. I highly recommend never buying online. Ill be honest it makes me just want to wait to stream movies then to actually go to a theater.
The chairs are arm chairs and recline and you can order an array of different foods and they deliver to your seat!! It was an amazing date day for me and Hubby! btw...we saw John Wick 4. Highly recommend.
Great viewing experience. But I noticed that even though it was a first showing of the day, many of the trays on the chairs were dirty. Greasy from popcorn bags, etc. I wouldnt put my personal belongings on them. We were in theater #2.

This place was so hot I was dripping. I did not even enjoy my alcohol because I was worried about getting more warm. Finally about half way through I had to talk to a manager to have them turn the heat off....it was 87 to 90 degrees that day outside. Never going back. A huge waste of money
I almost never write reviews but I am writing this one in the hope that someone from AMC actually monitors the review.Highlights:Almost no food available at concessions-Quesadilla -Unavailable-Bacon Mac & Cheese - Unavailable-Southwest Chicken -Unavailable-Asian steak and shrimp bowel - unavailable-Chicken Nachos -unavailable-Gourmet POPCORN - all flavors unavailable-Movie nachos (the cheap nachos with the fake cheese) unavailable-Icee’s Unavailable-LIDS for soda cups - out of stock-Men’s bathroom out of soap-Woman’s bathroom out of toilet paper.Such a disappointment, first we attempted to order food to our seats for the dine in theater and they were out of almost every item. No chicken nachos, no quesadillas, almost the entire dine in menu said out with true exception of hamburgers and one flat bread pizza they were event out of the prepaid movie theater nachos. So we ordered a popcorn and a drink and when we got the drink station they had a sign that said they were out of lids. Whats the point of the dine in if almost everything is out of stock and how does a movie theater run out of lids. Poorly run location. It one thing to be out of one or maybe two items but to not have something as basic as cup lids and missing almost the entire dine in menu is insane. Adding an update to my original review. After our movie was I used the restroom only to find they did not have any soap in the mens restroom and my wife found no toilet paper in the womans restroom.
The movie theater itself outside and in was very nice, very clean, great sound. However my only complaint is we got the double decker shakes and quite the disappointment, the taste was medicore at best, we got the birthday cake just tasted like milk and the Oreo was okay, they came in small plastic cups but on top of that they took awhile to come, the little cakes on the stick frozen as well. But the theater experience was nice, seats were also comfy.
Very big and has super cool stuff like food delivery to ur seats when ur gonna watch the movie also very spacious has recliner seats and seat warmers thats a plus today was cold and they worked perfectly I really recommend this place for the whole family and kids go check them out and watch a movie get some food and enjoy ur movie 💯🙏🏼👌✌💪
I came here a few years ago to watch the space jam 2 film with family to celebrate my birthday and all I can say is that the experience was underwhelming. I had heard many great things about amc and this location in particular had just opened so I decided I wanted to go here. It felt like we were overpriced on everything, more so then at other cinemas in the area. There was like a 2$ extra charge on food items and the tickets were near 20$. I wanted a slushier and I payed only for the slushee machine to break as I was using it. The sound in the theatre was louder than it should’ve been and overall the service was meh and the workers were all depressed and sad. I don’t recommend coming here, the edwards cinema just a mile east is the way to go in my opinion.

First time coming to this AMC imax and I was disappointed. The was not that great, the reclining chairs were dirty/sticky and uncomfortable. The sad part about this place is thats its fairly new since it was built and its already looking run down and dirty.
Clean and comfortable theater. Leather reclining chairs. You can get food delivered to you as well. We will definitely return to this theater. Mall is connected, and its a nice 2 story mall with elevators and escalators.

Service is really bad here. The workers look like they hate their job. The food is overpriced, and the portions are really small. Wouldn’t recommend. Eat beforehand or after. The drinks at the bar are pretty decent in the evenings.

Always a good experience here. It’s a nicer theater but the mall it’s attached to is pretty dead, so the theater is never too crowded. Love getting there early to walk around Barnes & Noble. Staff is always friendly and theaters are always clean! Concession stand goes very quickly too, even when the line is at its longest on a Saturday night it only takes a few minutes. One time I forgot my hat at my seat after the movie and the ticket taker let me go back in to grab it. Love sitting by the big window to enjoy the view before or after a movie. This is my preferred theater between others in the area such as the Ontario Mills one and the Edwards just down the street.
Very clean and organized~ I wanted my ticket printed for scrapbook purposes. The initial person who scanned our ticket could not help us, but he called for his supervisor and they were able to get it all printed for me!Resourceful, friendly, and great customer service. I am very grateful for all the help they provided! I love printed movie tickets for my scrapbook~

Newer movie theater, inside Montclair mall. It has a lot of showtimes. Perfect for shopping and a movie. Tuesdays are the bargain days to get tickets at $6. I recommend.

Premium cinematic experience! Great clean theater not overly crowded. Luxurious reserved seating. Ability to order food or drinks even alcohol that is brought to you at your seat. Go here if you want the full on movie experience. Its definitely not a budget theater except for tuesdays. But if you want to truly watch something on the big screen this is a good choice

Service here is absolutely awful. Takes 30min to get a beer. I can brew my own beer faster than they can take an order. If youre coming here, BYOB or Come hours ahead time..

One of the better AMC theaters around. Foot rest chairs with heaters if you want it on. Good is delivered to your seat. Their bar is also one of the better ones. They know what they are doing!

I believe I already rated this movie theater before but heres an update. So the AMC in Montclair is still one of the best movie theaters I have been in, its clean and they have sanitizing napkins by the entrance of each theater which is convenient, my girlfriend and I enjoy going to this specific location. The food is pretty good, expensive but worth it if you wanna enjoy good food and snacks while watching a good film. The employees are chill and they deliver the food to your seats, I dont know if we should tip them or not, I never do. But next time I just might if I have extra change 😅 but yeah this place is a 10/10 . The outside is cool too, it has a big escalator that takes you all the way up to the entrance of AMC. And its connected to a mall so if you go early you can scope out the place and see what they have to offer. Top notch movie date, bring your lady there or your friends . Or ladies if your man been acting right and treating you how you should be. Bring them to the movies! They have all kinds any genre . Latest movie we watched was Elvis, I fell asleep but I always knock out during movies, I still enjoy them though. My lady really liked the movie I did too. Its interesting, sad and sometimes the scenes were boring but overall good movie 7/10 for me. But yoo on Netflix they didnt promote this enough watch The Gray Man, its 10/10 we loved it.

Movie started at 6pm ordered prior food online to be brought to us at 5:40 pm 6:30 comes an no food. I leave an miss a whole half hr to wait in line to be told they brought my order to wrong seat. Then when food came forgot my drink an never received it. All areas of the theater were dirty an floors messy, wasnt impressed as I spent 177 dollars on tickets an food.
At the bar I asked for double shot on my 2nd drink and she poured out my drink, gave me half shot than cut me off and refused service. It was my 2nd drink in the 2nd hour and I was there for 4hrs. Killed my buzz and joy till movie started.OTHERWISE I love their seats and food brought to you in theater with great comfort!
The employees could be friendlier. Theyre all in a bad mood every time I go there. The seats are comfortable. The concession stand had everything we wanted. Bathrooms clean. Other than the employees everything was perfect
Disappointed in the new dine in experience. Definitely not getting what you pay for. You have to order your food ahead online with your ticket or get in line yourself to purchase. Now what exactly are we paying for with the higher priced ticket for this theater?
I usually go to the mills but this one is new and wanted to try it. Walking up to the theater it is nice, you have to walk up alot of stairs if the escalator is off but once you reach the top of is actually really nice inside. I dont like the fact that when you are about to walk in there are little teens skate boarding where the entrance is at. You would think they would say something. Once inside it was clean and there are lounge chairs you could relax at while you wait for your movie. I saw my movie in Adobe theater and it was really nice. The chairs are a bit different and the legs dont go up all the way so it would be hard to bring a child to see a cartoon without them falling off. There not like how the Ontario Mills chairs were you could lift your legs up all the way which really like. I didnt check the other theaters because that was the only one I was in.
Its a fairly nice and new theater. Service has been really good, no issues there. We always buy tickets via Fandango or the AMC app and weve never had a problem with that process either.You can also order refreshments and actual food through the app and for $2 theyll deliver it to your seat. I thought that would be an annoying service where we would have to deal with people being on their phones and then possibly having our view blocked when someone elses food is getting delivered but honestly that hasnt been a problem.My only issue is that every single time we get to our seats, there are crumbs on them and dirty water streaks on the tables. We grab napkins on our way in to wipe things down ourselves but really, they tout their cleanliness so this should not be such an issue.
My families first visit, and horrible experience. Theater is absolutely disgusting. 1st showing of the day, and there is trash everywhere, dirty napkin on the ground as soon as we entered the theater. The carpet is soiled throughout and there was spilled ice cream on the floor and our seats. Popcorn was all over the place. We wanted the IMAX experience, but instead we got filth

We got 3D tickets for Mario movie and it was awesome. Our seats were perfect, popcorn was delicious.
The only complaint I have in about the dine-in thing. The packaging is noisy and sometimes the prime bringing the food is distracting. On the other hand, the screens are big and all the seats are recliners. Very good.
My kids favorite movie theater. Entrance is on the second floor. Self serve coke freestyle machine. Staff is friendly and when an issue comes up, they are great at resolving it. Popcorn smell is magic.
Love the comfy seats and the dine-in option is amazing to have your food brought to you in your seat. Facility is clean and staff has been really friendly every time Ive gone. Truth be told, I had given up on AMC before COVID due to really run down facilities and issues Ive had at some of the other locations (leaking roof water onto my head in one particular location, who I wont name). But this location has brought me back and I totally look forward to seeing all the films I can here!

We used to go to the AMC at Puente Hills Mall, but we actually liked this one better. It has great seats, a better food selection and they bring the food to you at your seat for no extra charge.

Everything is great, except staff should have more training in customer service. They did not know how to let guests know that the auditorium was closed for cleaning. Most of the guests were confused. There was an issue with the screen, and movie did not start on time. No one came and said anything to let us know it was being taken care of. Guests had to leave their seats to go find someone and ask what the issue was.
Lots of leg room and heated seats feel great on your lower back.
Iced reviews. The theater I sat in was very comfortable however I pre-ordered good to be brought to my seat prior to the movie starting. The previews started and I had not received it. 10 minutes into them, I went to the counter and they told me my order was being worked on. It would be 10 more minutes and they would bring it to me. Well more than a 1/2 hr later, it finally came. Very upsetting. I paid to get it delivered at a specific time. Otherwise I could have gone to the counter and ordered it there and saved myself $3.82. Thats what Ill choose to do next time for sure. BTW, I saw Top Gun Maverick. That was fantastic! Will go see it again, but the theater doesnt get credit for that.
Remodeled AMC with reclining chairs. They also have in seat dinning. You order your food and they bring it to your seat. Their customer service is very good. All their employees are very nice. The popcorn and nachos are good. I also tried their boneless wings with BBQ sauce. They were good too. The restrooms are clean with sensors so you dont have to touch anything. Overall its a clean movie theatre. They have an IMAX theatre here too.

Its an okay theater, sometimes, but there are no showtime before 1pm or after 8pm most days. What a joke. Also, Ive had staff come in to clean the theater (including seats right next to mine) during the credits. Im just trying to wait for the post-credit scenes and they are spraying cleaning fluid next to me. Absolutely zero customer service if you want to complain. No phone, email... nothing. It does not exist.
Staff was very nice. A lot of food items were out or discontinued, but we still had a great meal. I love the caprese artisan pizza. I had a delicious (strong) watermelon Cadillac margarita from McGuffins bar. Thanks to the bartender, he was a sweetheart. Another staff member wearing a red plaid viking mask was super helpful. The entire area was clean and comfortable. I felt safe and happy. I had a great experience.

Brand new movie theater experience,. Great to have your food delivered to your seat, but under the no circumstances should you order a salad there.

It was my first time going to this theater Yesterday, and I gotta say I liked this theater a lot. It is designed very well on both outside and inside. Also the seats we got had the option to heat up and recline! Which was great. Really recommend people to come to this theater.
I enjoy the reclining seats. Employees were nice and enforced masks mandate in hallways. People still didnt wear their face masks in theater. 🙄 I dont blame AMC Theatres because people eat their food at different speeds. I just keep my masks on throughout the movie, and skip the concession stand and its overpriced food.
Ever since they opened their doors to the public, I only watch movies at this location when Im in the area. The food & drink options arent bad, the taste isnt bad either. Its a plus that they allow you to bring food from the mall.Its disappointing reading other peoples reviews because they complain for the most ridiculous reasons, AMC is for those who dont mind paying for quality. AMC is always flooded with people, which leads them to not being able to take care of everyone fast enough. Great theatre to see movies, service at concession stand is slow, the nice reclining chairs are hit and miss. Most of them work, but some dont. Theyre starting to look old and shabby already, which is understandable, BUT........

Really enjoyed the Jurassic World in 3D and they have where you can have food delivered to your seat. The reclining seats make it so comfortable. Highly recommended also if your there early you can enjoy time around the mall.
My husband, my daughter and I came here on New years day and love this AMC theater. First time coming here. We watched the movie SpiderMan. Great movie!! The seats recline, and the seats heat up. They even have a Bar and once you order food they bring it to you. I was very impress with this. I rave about this theater to all my friends and family. Thank you AMC for makingnour experience enjoyable and comfortable!! My hubby and I were completely satisfied !!
This place is pretty gross. We went with our kiddo and the seats or tables hadnt been cleaned (still popcorn and greasy fingerprints). It was a matinee, so not so busy. The service took way too long to get food to even come to us. We ordered before the movie and it didnt arrive until we were an hour into the show. I would not recommend if youre squeamish during COVID times.
Been here twice now with my husband and kid. Pre-ordered tickets and also food to be delivered to our seats both times. Food is surprisingly good (have had the pizza, pretzel bites, and burgers/tots/fries so far). Food is supposed to be delivered within 10 minutes of your specified time. Seems to come at the outside of that time, so I’d suggest ordering it for earlier if you want it before the movie starts. Just gotta be there when they deliver it. Seats are comfy and spacious. Theater is super clean.
This is our go to movie theater. Reclining, plush seats are very comfortable. They bring your food right to your seat and its always hot and fresh. Choosing your seats online is convenient. Staff there is nice and respectful.
First time here and my experience was ok. We elected for dine in and the menu was very limited but the food was good. Auditorium 6 where we sat was a little dirty. There was greasy crumbs on the wall immediate to me. The seats were absolutely fantastic, recliner and all. I will be coming back hoping for a cleaner Auditorium.
Love that there is a AMC now. Been here 3 times now. Everything is consistent. This last time there was a guy that seemed to be up to no good. I saw him and thought twice about walking into the restroom, but was happy to see security already had him on their radar and was watching from a distance. Ill keep coming here. Its new, convenient and clean.
While it is a nice theater the seating was not thought out... There are couple seating which is fine, but there is NO ROOM in between each couple seat your drink is LITERALLY going to be an inch away from a stranger.It would actually have made more sense that the drinks would be closer for the person you are paired with, but they arent.If you look at the seating online it appears they were supposed to have space, but it seems like whoever executed the seats just wanted to cram as many seats as possible.I actually didnt enjoy my film to the fullest, because the teen next to me kept taking selfies...Personally I think it had potentially, but feels cramped. In all fairness I didnt go to IMAX, so it may have better seats.For at least standard movies I would actually recommend Edwards in La Verne more. I was almost tempted to ask for a refund...
An amazing brand new theatres!!?
Was waiting for this place to open during the pandemic. I love going to the IMAX movies. My son tried the (pizza) and liked it. Has only ordered it once so it wasnt anything special. Only complaints is they dont always have nachos and half the time at least when Ive seen the IMAX version they run late. Overall we loved coming here. If you can get the a list they offer on the app I recommend it. Its worth it if you like going to the movies frequently.
The screen was great. The sound, fantastic. The lobby was dirty and so were the bathrooms. Hand sanitizers were completely out. Maybe its staffing shortage or maybe it was late and they ran out. Overall, unforgettable experience.

I go here every time it would be a 5 star if you would turn on the AC since it is very warm and muggy in the theaters. I definitely enjoy the movies now and I would love to have the AC on without having to notify the staff members to turn it on
1/21/2023 Order food at arrival at 9:45pm sat down to watch movie food never arrived at 10:45 I went and asked about our food I was told by a amc employee it would arrive with in 10 minutes waited never arrived again at 11pm went to the front and spoke to a manager the response I got was sorry no explanation on why we never got our food just sorry,they refunded my money for the food,the thing that surprised me was why I was told that I would get my food in 10 minutes I feel like I was just lied too I had to leave the movie theater twice and missed some parts of the movie,I dont understand why I had to leave the movie theater twice to ask when we would be getting our food every time I went down to ask the employee they were just hang out sitting on the front counter not a very good experience at amc montclair ca seat f9 and f10 screen 4

WOW! I havent been to the movies in 5 years, I wasnt planning on seeing a movie but my son, hes 4, smelled the popcorn. I explained what the movie theater was and we ended up seeing a movie...it was wonderful!! Clean, friendly, comfy and we are definitely going to see another movie!
The theatre itself was amazing… but the service was HORRIBLE. I’m not one to complain at all,honestly this is the first review I’ve ever written. I spent $82 dollars on food (mozzarella sticks, avocado chicken sandwich, Buffalo chicken sandwich, nachos, cherry sprite, flat bread pizza, 2 extra sides of ranch, 2 extra sides of cheese and salsa)The food came out completely cold… so cold and soggy it seemed like they’ve been sitting in the refrigerator all night. We never received our nachos, nor any of the extra sides WE PAID EXTRA FOR. But to top it all off when we tried to order on our phone for food at A DINE IN MOVIE THEATRE ($25 a ticket) we couldn’t and had to order at the concession stand up in the lobby…. Never going there again 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
One of the newer and nicer AMC theaters serving the Covina and Pomona valleys.I really appreciate the layout of this theater and management does seem to make an effort to keep the installations staying in tip top shape, to entice moviegoers to return to the cinema. This is definitely a great place to reinvigorate your love of big screen movies.I watched DUNE here, at the Dolby Cinema, and it really made for a superb experience.
Ive always loved AMC theaters and Im so glad that this one opened up so close to home. The recliner seats and row by row privacy are what make going here such a great experience. I highly recommend enjoying your next movie here.

On July 8,2021 came to the movie theater first time since the pandemic started. I expected it to be a good experience but it was not was I expected. The movie kept freezing the Audio throughout the whole movie. About halfway through the movie the audio was muted for about 10 minutes. This is not fair it was 5 of us at the movies in my group. We missed many parts of the movie because of this! The movie was F9 in auditorium 2. It would be great if this was not a problem my experience was ruined and since this movie theater is new I was not expecting for it to be poor quality audio. This has never happened at any other movie theater before for me. Other than that, the staff were great and it was clean.
I started working here at AMC last week and I already love it. The staff are very friendly and great to work with. Just being part of the AMC team puts a smile on my face. Ever since I was a kid, Ive always wanted to work at a movie theater and now that dream has become a reality.
Smaller location then other AMC theaters. The chairs dont recline as much us they do in other locations, and are smaller. Services and employees friendliness is still great just as other places. The bar is still great and a employee is always there.

The table tops were not clean to our seats. They still had water rings from soda cups of who ever sat prior to us. Keep in mind, opening at certain capacity just happened due to covid previous year long shut down. We came in hungry, ready to order, only to find out they ran out of most food. Aside that, I do like the seat warmers at this new theatre.
Theatre was great, service was terrible. Weeknight, so not busy. Saw movie in IMAX theater at extra cost, didnt notice a difference. Was not informed that you now have to pre-order food before the movie time. Finally waited in line to order. They said 20 minutes. After 45 I went and picked up food myself. It was brought out immediately and tasted like it had been sitting there a while.
Love the entrance of this theater, great food selection, very nice new area. Seats in some theaters have heating which is great because, as always, its very air conditioned.
Being a new theater, I am assuming that they are still working out the kinks. Our experience started out as usual, buy tickets, get snacks and go to theater. First thing we thought was odd was that they will bring the food that they need to make to your seat. Wife ordered a quesadia. It came well over cooked and not edible. While watching the movie, the picture went blank but sound continued. Several of us left to complain about this. Wife also took her food with her. The manager, a young lad, took all the complaining in stride and took care of the theater people. Everybody got 2 passes for any movie for a year and we got our whole snack cost refunded and they got the movie working, rewound it 13 minutes so we were able to finish watching the movie as well. So, all in all, this turned out to be a positive experience on Mothers Day! .
My seat in Imax theater barely worked. Had to keep pressing the buttons to try and get it to recline or move at all. No napkins when food was brought. Didnt realize we had to get them before entering the theater, a reminder from staff when ordering would be great.IMAX in theater 1 is the smallest IMAX I have ever been in. Seemed close to the same size as a regular theater. Value definitely didnt seem there for the experience .
Very modern and pretty clean. A bit smaller than the Ontario mills theater 🎥🎟; only saw one imax theater and one Dolby. Has a bigger bar 🍸cooler coke machines with many flavors 🥤and has a mall entrance near its lobby.6/15/21- things could be so much cleaner.

Place was nice when it first opened but quickly went downhill. Just about all food items are not available, constantly. Another huge issue is the automatic ticket dispenser, it constantly prints the tickets backwards and has them go back into the machine. When the machine prints this way it makes it just about impossible to grab. Need help? Good luck.

Movie theaters getting back to the swing of things. Pre-ordered food and tickets before we got to theater. Unfortunately the meals we choose were all out at the time. We got a substitution and they comped us a large popcorn of the troubles. Overall good experience, understandable that not all menu items will not be available yet.

Today was my first time coming to the movie theaters in more than 10 years I came with the family my wife and my daughter I really recommend to sign up the members online the membership online is really easy to do and you could just do everything through your phone pay an advance and just walk in and go to your seat
This is a fairly new theater but management is not take care of this AMC. It is very dirty. There is popcorn scattered throughout the walkways. The soda fountain is dirty with spilled soda and trash including the floor. The napkin dispensers are empty. It is sad to see this new theater so carelessly taken care of since it appears that they have plenty of staff . Hopefully it will not end up like the AMC in Ontario where they had rat infestation because no one cared to clean.
The Dine-In was awesome. Couple of things I would like to point out:1. The online order food early and deliver it to ur seat dont have good options. The entree is only salad, wings, and Flatbread. I think they should expand the menu and include Asian bowl, shrimp, etc...the food options are very limited.2. The heat recliners are very nice. The seats are also good. Thank u.3. The popcorn was very buttery if they deliver it to u. May a separate cup of butter options can help us to take if we want more.4. The movie F9 - fast and Furios was just ok..it was not that good.Thanks.
So happy this theatre finally opened up. Its smaller than i expected but perfect! The recliner seats are so comfy too. I like that it hasnt been too crowded when ive gone. Come check it out!
With Covid going on there is a lot of skepticism about going out and being safe. I enjoy the time to get away and escape into a movie. The theater seems pretty neat and clean. I wear my mask. For AMC I suggest downloading the app and ordering your tickets and if youre dining in order that also. I enjoy Dolby cinema and IMAX but standard is good too.
New to the area, been here a few times with my hubby on Friday nights. We purchase our tickets online and get them scanned at the entrance. Love the reclining heated seats. Always a cute date night🥰
We were so excited to go had to wait to get in in line people cutting in 1line. Get in line for snacks and drinks for me the only drink I like is regular Coke went in 3 different line for no coke than told to walk over to bar movie getting retro start. Forget it!! They were very clean but come on guys been in Montclair 30 years seen theater come and go. But simple soda and ice and I was not the only one ☹️ jg
Cool theater lots of perks. Soda and icee machine outside so unlimited refills. Unlimited popcorn refills no matter what size popcorn you get. Also reclining heated seats and food trays in case you order food. They will deliver to your seat

Dirty seats with strange white stains on them, sticky floors and the theatre smells dingey. Normally I wouldnt complain but I paid $50 for two tickets. Pretty gross!
I like going here because the theaters are not too big...and its dine in to your seat.But everytime I pre-ordered food to my seat it never arrives at the time..I understand about being short handed but waiting half hour for my order...I probably wont pre-order food any more
Well my husband and I went back to the AMC in Montclair at the plaza.To see the new Dr. Strange movie. It was disappointing. Also near the end of the movie i went to use the ladies room. So I decided to get some candy and a large drink. To my surprise it doesnt take tap and go transactions. The lady working the snack bar said she couldnt believe it either. Especially since they own a large brand. So I had to go thirsty. Thats why 3 stars.
Wow. New theater huh? Disgraceful.Theater seats/table were dirty.Person at concession stand was less than elementary. I had to ask questions because we didn’t know there weren’t any servers at this “full service” theater. Person who brought food to us in the theater (we bought out front) said here, and gave the food. Nothing else. Awful service. It’s no longer customer service because of AMC’s lowered expectations. It’s now service.Not going back.
Great new AMC in the town. It has two accesses - one from outside and one from within the Montclair place mall. They have 12 screens. Recliner seats are spacious with heaters. Plenty parking available. They could have extended the food court as it seems smaller when compared to other AMC theaters.
A very spacious environment with the ability to preorder food to be delivered to your seat. It was very clean, the drinks (alcohol) were the usual mark-up but not bad.
Ultra clean and very reasonable prices. Normal prices for the usual items (sodas, candy, popcorn, etc) and the Dine-in options (burgers, and appetizers) range from $7.99-$17.99 range. They also have a full bar.
I did a private theater rental the night this theater opened and it was an awesome experience. All the employees were helpful and the theater itself is absolutely beautiful. Very clean theaters, professional employees... So happy we have an AMC in the area. Cant wait to go back!!!!
Nor rain nor sleet nor snow NOR PANDEMIC could stop AMC from completing and opening this little gem of a theater. Nestled on the 2nd level of the mall AMC converted a once useless space into a state of the art theater.The theater has ceiling height windows with a south facing vista. There is even a small outdoor patio with seating to really enjoy the views. Inside there are plush chairs and tables for friendly conversation and dining.The public spaces are very open and spacious with super high ceilings that help to put one at ease during this pandemic. There are little stations at the entrances of the theaters that provide sanitizing wipes to wipe down your seat if you choose and upgraded air systems to add another layer of protection for customers.There is an IMAX and a Dolby Cinema theater to enhance your viewing experience. I really think Ill be making this location my new primary spot for the foreseeable future.
***MOVIE TICKET BUYER BEWARE**** Went to the movies on 6/25/21 to see FF9. Got tickets from Sams Club to save money and as a bonus wanted to see it in IMAX. So I go up to the customer service counter to get our seats ahead of time fearing it would be sold out later which it pretty much was so the upgrade cost $12. Which I was okay with. But 3 days later I check my bank account and it so theres a $40.98 charge on my account. So I started calling a couple days later no answer. I eventually had to drive down there 4th of July weekend. I spoke to Desiree (Manager). I explained to her about the tickets from Sams club and it should have only been a $12 charge. So she did acknowledge that yes I was overcharged so I asked for a refund of my money and was told No! But she could only offer 2 movie tickets and 1drink / 1food item ticket. I see this as a total RIP OFF!!! cause they had no problem taking my money.
There is no reason whyyy it is always so HOT in this theater. I’ve been here five times and every single time it is miserable to watch any movie. Different groups of friends always think the seater warmer is accidentally on. Honestly, movies are meant to be cold but this one feels like watching a movie in a boiler room.

DOLBY Theater #2 has a huge dent in the screen which was a huge distraction. Not to mention the food tray that was attached to my seat was absolutely filthy!!!! Did I mention that the screen was black for almost the entirety of the VENOM 2 trailer (a trailer I actually wanted to see). The whole experience was not worth the 20ish bucks that was paid via fandango. Next time I may wait to stream movies at home on my very own dirty TV tray.
** DO NOT BUY PREPARED FOOD ONLINE **Kitchen will not be open until Friday!!My family and I visited the theater yesterday evening for the grand opening, we watched Tom and Jerry. I pre-purchased the tickets online and also pre-purchased some cooked dinner items for my family and I.Upon arrival I was informed that the kitchen would not be open until Friday. We were looking forward to enjoying some cooked food but had none, except for complimentary popcorn and drinks we were given after finding out we would not have food.I was offered a refund on the food I pre purchased, unfortunately as of today the refund has not been credited to my account.Other than that we enjoyed the movie and the theater was nice and clean.
My new go-to location for late night movies. Everything has been cleaned and sanitized. Since its a relatively new building, everything feels great. Seats are amazing, location is great. Definitely recommend

This place is unreal. Dinner, drinks, and a movie. The only thing missing is the chill portion from netflix and chill.

The place is surprisingly nice really enjoyed my movie. The food is alright take my word for it eat before you go I had better food. Otherwise great movie night with the family.

This place is very clean and has great staff. The theaters are also clean the recliner seats are perfect some have a heating button. The management is FANTASTIC ! My favorite AMC
Been going here since it opened, there were hiccups and issues here and there.(just like any place) But they were always very accommodating and have always been super awesome everytime I go.

I got the BBQ plant based tenders which I highly recommend, although I wish it came with fries especially since it was pretty pricey ($15). There is heated seats in the dine in theater and the gentleman taking our order was super friendly and helpful. Overall would definitely come back and recommend to friends 😊

2023-06-26 06:39:25We went for the Dolby Cinema experience and had a great experience with the A/V, but that was limiting due to the uncomfortable seats and dirty auditorium.The staff though courteous, werent very helpful perhaps due to lack of knowledge.There is plenty of parking and electric chargers in the parking lot.I would come back for the cinematic experience but may consider another AMC for the overall experience.

The seating is comfortable recliners with an unobstructed view (some of the AMCs have a wall between each row that is just high enough to obstruct your view once you recline your seat).The kids popcorn combo is my go-to choice and didnt disappoint.The Dolby 3D theater had magnificent sound and the 3D glasses fit nicely. Unfortunately this theater has the recliners but not the heated seats. But the temperature in the theater was not too cold so it worked out.Service was great at the concession stand.Parking lot is huge (its at the mall), and plenty of parking.The restrooms were clean.Great location to do some shopping before or after a movie.

Their food selection is delicious. Tots, cheeseburgers, fries, chicken strips, wings, nachos and they also have a bar with top shelf libations! Oh, and they bring everything to your seat in the theater! Wow ;)

Our tickets were purchased in advanced through the AMC app. The concession stand had a line, so we quickly opted for the bar.Today they offered two signature cocktails. One was the Tea Rex and the other was Thunderstruck. We chose Thunderstruck which consisted of orange juice, strawberry punch, a shot of Makers Mark Whiskey, over ice and topped with Blue Moon beer for $14. This drink was actually tasty and satisfied a quench on a hot day. Or choose from their signature cocktail menu of Boozy Lemonades or Top Shelf Tequila drinks.The main lobby consists of the concession stand, the bar, and rather large seating area with a TV, restrooms and a large glass window with a fantastic view of the freeway and city.The theater had comfy, reclining seats with a moveable food tray and drink holder. The trays were not wiped down and sticky. (My only complaint). The trays also might be cumbersome to some patrons as their flexibility in moving around is limited. The sound was right on and the crisp image on screen got you in the mood to delve 100% into your movie.The theater offers several restrooms, which were clean and stocked of supplies.The employees were friendly and helpful. I made mention how the drinks when the bartender was making them had too much ice. He immediately removed some ice to an accommodating level without discussion.I actually cant wait to see another movie here!Four Stars due to the less than clean table tops in the theater (bring your own wipies) and I am not apt to give five stars to a place on only one visit.

2021-10-27 15:03:47This quickly became my favorite AMC theatre starting from the moment i saw the huge outside exterior and the experience only got better once we were inside. i specifically visited this location because we were able to select our seats online and they were the recliner option unlike some other theatres in the area. we got in to our cinema hall (12) and the worker specifically asked us where we were sitting so he could clean those seats before getting to the rest which was a nice touch as we were early. the seats do have a table at them so you can order a burger or something else off their menu. we were happy to see that you can access the theatre from the mall inside and plan to do exactly that the next time we would visit. i hope to visit again in the near future and see a movie in their IMAX screen.

Its not very cold in California but works great on sore muscles!! The food is great and vegetarian or vegan options are avaliable!! The staff is always friendly, helpful, and hard working. The place is clean, inviting, come on whats not to love!!!! The movie? Well they just show them but thats what the bar is for!! Grab a drink to make a bad movie mediocre!! This is my favorite AMC. I even love the exterior with the different colors they rotate to light up the building.
