2023-09-11 16:58:44I had the best time there yesterday! They had a live band and karaoke yesterday afternoon. They also have a full bar and restaurant on site. The service was great, and the environment beautiful and inviting. All the people were fun and friendly. It was my first visit, but I truly hope not my last. Go ahead and check it out. Its right next to the Newport Yacht Club.

2023-01-01 09:49:04Im a long time auxiliary member thru a different post, and this was the best New Years party ever! Great decorations, great food, great band to dance to, and friendly party crowd in our age group.

2021-05-08 22:51:13Eating here was a great surprise. Fortunately, but unexpectedly, the group I was riding with was hungry and someone in my group was a member. My burger was very good and the view was spectacular! Cant beat their location,

2021-08-03 05:52:45I came to the American Legion in Newport Beach on Sunday as a guest of Dr. Mike Paquette. We actually paddleboarded from Lido Island to have breakfast here. The man checking us in was a complete gentleman and we were immediately seated outside with a wonderful view of the harbor. There were about eight items on the breakfast menu. I ordered the pancake special with bacon and scrambled eggs. Others in our group ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich the eggs benedict and the breakfast burrito and everyone thought their food was terrific! To summarize, this is a place with nice people, good food and a great organization!

2021-12-13 13:14:24What an amazing and immaculate venue for special celebrations! Beautiful and elegantly decorated for Christmas! And you can not beat the waterfront view from our banquet room. We came here for my very good friends birthday bash. Elvis was in the house! We were able to sing along, dance, do a conga line, laugh out loud, be merry and just enjoy ourselves without being told to keep it down. Food service from buffet to dessert was flawless. Food itself was very good. A definite must for your next event!

2022-09-12 19:29:11Post 291 is all about veterans, heritage and heroes. It is the largest American Legion Post in the US. Located bayside on 15th street on the Balboa Peninsula. We were there for their 9/11 memorial event. There were two bands and lots of activities honoring those who were lost on that tragic day 21 years ago.
