Love this spot, the food is phenomenal and the service is very good as well. I’m a huge fan of Mongolian Beef (over white rice) and Hong Kong style Chow Mein - Pan fried noodles (soak/soften them using entire sauce/entree on top of noodles for about 10-15 minutes). Their orders of rice are huge compared to some other places. Definitely might go to spot in the entire Sacramento area.

Our first time at Andy’s Kitchen. We ordered chicken curry steamed buns, salt and pepper fried fish and pan fried seafood noodles. All three were excellent. The portion size is big. Service was quick, food was piping hot and fresh. Ambience was that of a fast food place, small seating area with maybe 10 tables, 4 seaters. Plenty of Parking space, located at Century theatre complex. Definitely coming back to try more. Heard their garlic noodles are popular.

Gosh! I dont even know where to start. Food is amazing! I just loved it! Portion was good and I highly recommend the chow mein with the thicker noodles. One of the dishes is enough for one or even maybe two people.

Tried Andy’s for the first time tonight and was super impressed. My husband got the pork dumplings and I got the kung pao chicken with fried chicken and we shared the green beans. The food came out fresh, had tons of flavor and the service was excellent. The owner even came out and asked us about our meal. We will definitely be back soon!

We went for late lunch and was seated right away. We ordered spicy wonton appetizer, har gaw, shrimp crispy noodle, and mongolian beef with fried rice (lunch menu). The portion was good. The food tasted good (nothing spectacular)- Spicy wonton: the wonton skin was soft & the pork filling was flavorful. But I wish they put more meat inside. The chili was spicy and good.- Har gaw: good. A bit dry but lots of filling inside- Shrimp crispy noodle: the noodle was a bit burnt on the edges but the rest was crispy. The sauce was good & lots of shrimp pieces- Mongolian beef with fried rice: it was ok. The beef was tender & flavorful. The fried rice was nice.Overall, a good Chinese restaurant. The portion is good. Would come back to try more items.

Their beef chow fun was always my favorite but it’s starting to become my least favorite. The last couple of times I’ve ordered it, it had more beef and bell peppers than actual noodles. Also the gravy is much more salty than usual. Take a look at my photo showing how much noodle versus beef/veggies.

Came in on a chilly Monday Evening & was greeted & seated quickly. Given menus with water without saying too much. Ordered food came out quick as well. How does this place have such high ratings? Maybe they had a new chef today, because it seems like I went to a totally different place than these other reviewers. The mapo tofu was so weak that my kindergartner asked if it was supposed to taste like anything.I havent ever had such bland food and my mom is white.

I go here every time Im in town. This places makes a few dishes that are even better from my neck of the woods (where its usually top notch). While a little expensive, but within normal california price range. This is the best chinese food i have had in years. I am from New York, and this tastes exactly like my friends parents restaurant down on the corner that we ordered from for decades. Went there twice so far & they are super quick to make your food. great food, at a good price. first time we went, the lovely waitress was super quick to get our utensils & water, she came to check on us multiple times during our visit, but during the second visit, we went & it was super busy so they forgot our utensils, & didn’t come around to us as often besides bring us our food :( but overall great place to dine :))

I really liked this place! We had a large party and they accommodated us even though the place is small. They were nice enough to store our cake in the fridge while we ate, and brought it out to us when it was time to celebrate. We ordered lots of appetizers including dim sum and everything was hot! It is a gem of Chinese Restaurants, the food menu was unique, the taste 👅 was amazing 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 and good portion size. I tried Salt & pepper Calamari, Sichuan beef (spicy) and Cube steak fried rice (steak is pepper spicy). All of them were unique in taste & flavor and now my favorite dishes. This place is a must try if even if your are not a die hard Chinese food lover. The food is excellent and the owner is inviting and genuine. We have an office a few miles away from the restaurant and will be back when Im in town no doubt. Andy - will you get a chance to go fishing at lake Fork in Texas, we need to meet up and Ill show you the good spots! Great taste. We have discovered this place during Covid. Looking for a fresh taste on Chinese food and hoping for larger portions, Andys did not disappoint. We have ordered 4 large family dinners and 2 small family dinners and everyone has been pleased. The portions are very large and the food is still super hot once you get it home. Pricing is good too. I pick up lunch here at least once a week. Everything Ive tried has been excellent, but Ive discovered my new favorite Chinese dish: Salt and Pepper Fish! The flavor is fantastic, and its always cooked to perfection. Even if you find the black pepper and jalapeño slices to be a bit too spicy, youre sure to find your new favorite somewhere on the menu.

Food is great, service is great. Surprised to see the bad reviews, because they have always been good for us. First time here. Our go to Chinese place was closed today, we decided to give Andys a try .The gentleman who answered the phone was extremely friendly and helpful in choosing dishes. We LOVED the thin noodles, everything was so flavorful! The sweet and sour pork was amazing. Not overly sweet or encased in thick red goo..also ordered a shrimp and veggie dish that was beyond delicious. My family and I agreed we found a new go to place. I would give this place no stars if I could. Under New Management and its horrible. This was mine and my husbands favorite Chinese spot to go before our movie. The food was over priced for the quality of it. Needless to say, after today, we will no longer give this place our business again. I took the rest of this food, which was quite a bit, to our dog Spot. Try at your own risk! Oh and used to have a good flow of business, always at lunchtime, but only two other tables besides ours. We should have just walked out then.

WARNING: This place is under new management. Usually thats a good thing, but not this place. They had no proper menu, no sodas (I felt like I had stumbled into tijuana with the .99 cent glass coke), the waitress was rude and kept bugging us if we even liked the food and took the food away while we were paying and one of us was still eating.Before I get to the food, If you cant be confident in what you serve, dont serve at all. The quality has gone literally to the dogs. Fried rice? Inedible - they didnt bother to trim the fat from the beef making the meat inedible, greasy, and no flavor. The chicken is lower quality than before mostly low grade dark meat mixed with fatty white meat. No more eggrolls, appetizers, etc until they can even function. The bottom of the plate was dirty and crunchy.Overall Im guessing it was not a clean change of hands. The new version of this place made the Burger King look suddenly super appealingThis was my go to for dates with my wife. No more. Also, why are their employees leaving fake reviews?UPDATE: We got food poisoning from this place. We will be following up with the health department.

Ive eaten lunch here a few times and took my girlfriend for dinner as she was visiting from out of state. After getting TO GO, we got home and realized our two dinners totaling $35.00 didnt have any rice. When I called the store asking about the missing rice, thats when they mentioned rice was an extra charge. Under new management for the 2nd time in under a year (I think). Not what it used to be, thats for sure. Used to be a weekly staple but now they dont even offer soup or egg roll and you only get your choice of EITHER white rice, fried rice or chow mein (no more combo plates). No beverages other than Coke and Sprite bottles (not sure what they charge). I wish I would have seen the previous reviews before I came. Well see if I get food poisoning. The quality seems a little better than the most recent reviews but definitely not what it was. Chicken/pork was pretty fatty. May not be back... Wont be if my stomach doesnt hold up.

This is our favorite Chinese Food Restaurant. Its the food. Always fresh. The vegetables are crisp tender and the sauces in enhance the natural flavors. Nothing is mushy or feels like its been under a heat lamp since the start of lunch service and now its dinner. The place is super clean, bathrooms too and the staff is fast efficient and friendly. With 9 dollar dinner specials, its really hard to beat their prices for good Chonese food. Everything we had tasted great (Sweet and Sour Chicken and Broccoli Beef in particular) and their chow mein is made with large, yummy noodles. He really enjoyed his dinner he states it tasty ans spicy my dinner was really good i enjoyed my chicken it was really soft and i love green beans. So we decided to eat there the next night we got pork pot stickers and pork fried rice the dinner was great pot stickers were big and full feeling. The owner Andy was there to greet us with a warm and friendly face with a positive attitude. Will be going back alot. Thanks for the dinner and hospitality. Will post pictures of our next meal. If you remember Emperors Garden from about two years ago.... This is no longer the same place. The food quality has dropped considerably. All new management, all new staff, all for the worst.Expl. I bought general chicken from them, and I kid you not, most of it was cartilage and bone material covered with breading. My co-worker had called to complain about the same thing and they told her to come in and they would give her a free meal. She was sick for a day from dining there.If your new to Emperors Garden, go ahead and try the food, maybe youll find it satisfactory, but if you are an oldie, STAY AWAY!

Excellent food. Service was very quick and friendly. I had the Kung Pao dinner plate. For $9.25, it came with a cup of wonton soup to start, then the plate had pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, an egg roll, wonton, and Kung pao chicken. The food was so good. I am very picky about Chinese food and I don’t try new Chinese restaurants often because it generally ends in disappointment. Plenty of meat in the dish, no weird breading. Just great flavor.I am so glad we stopped in. The combination of friendly service and great food really made for a nice evening out. We will definitely return in the future with the kids.

So far my favorite Chinese place in Folsom. You see older reviews stating how bland it is, it is definitely not that. The Kung pao chicken wasnt as potent as I like, but that and everything else was very tasty. And they are not shy with the meat, plenty in every dish I ordered. Very much recommend.
