Plastic table clothes, mediocre food but excellent service and old school Italian atmosphere. The salad was pre dressed and wilted but the dressing was homemade and great Italian vinaigrette. The calamari was a steak cut which was great but it wasn’t breaded well and so it just fell off. Fried mozzarella made in house chewy gooey delicious Crispiness!!! The marinara is delicious the aioli bland. The special lobster ravioli was delicious. Had a nice lobster flavor, light cream sauce.

There’s a reason this place has been around for so long. We had the lobster ravioli dinner and the meat calzone. It was more food than two people could eat. I could easily pass on the minestrone soup, but the bleu cheese dressing on the salad was good. The ravioli was excellent and the meat calzone was just what you would expect. Service was quick too.

Went here for dinner. The waitress was very friendly and had great customer service. The food was okay.

Our experience involved takeout, so cant comment on the service but everyone we saw seemed super friendly and happy to be there. The inside of the restaurant looks like it probably hasnt changed since it first opened, but its cozy and sort of adds to the charm.My wife and I got a meat calzone to share and a cheese pizza for our 3 year old. The calzone was STUFFED with thick cuts of mouthwatering Italian sausage, meatball, and gooey mozzarella cheese. It came with a side of marinara sauce and grated parmesan cheese. Best calzone in Turlock hands down. Our 3 year old didnt have any complaints about the pizza either and hes super picky.Get the calzone or youre missing out!

40 plus years now. Our go to for Italian food! Second generation family run show pride of ownership for the food to the service. Truly a family experience. If your sting down 99 it’s worth the 5 min detour to eat where us Turlock’er’s do! The calzone is my favorite. They make it special for me. A little meat, veggies and extra sauce and cheese. It’s so big I just have them box half of it for latter. Check out the photos!!!! Just outstanding.

Went in with my family last night for dinner, vibe was very old school Italian you can tell that they haven’t change things in years, service was ok. took a little bit to get our drinks, food very disappointing, no flavor ! My chicken for my pasta had no color honestly looked like they just warmed it up and turned it on a grill a couple times and sent it out ! The meat ball had absolutely no flavor like they boiled the meat ball and just covered it with a red sauce, overall experience with my family didn’t end out night well and me being a 5 star chef and being big on flavors the food was dreadful. Don’t recommend!

I really like the food here, its consistently good and service is always fantastic. My only two comments are... The pour on a glass of wine is a bit skimpy, and cinnamon never belongs on tiramisu... should be chocolate. 😉

We enjoyed a very nice dinner with dear friends and my husband…, I had an accident, my wallet fell out of my bag without me noticing…, the restaurant owner kindly contacted my husband informing me that my wallet was safe…, drivers license, credit card, cash and everything intact…!!! Hugely grateful for his sincere honesty .. !!

Service was outstanding. Food was above all other Italian restaurants Ive been too. The Service though was what I will be back to explore more menu items..

First time trying and it was worth the drive. Very good it’s real Italian food nothing you eat is ever frozen everything is fresh and freshly made . Definitely recommend to eat here
