2023-07-15 22:45:01Clean and quaint little small business butcher shop run by a Korean elderly couple. It was my first time at Angus Meat Market. For the convenience, the meat is more expensive than the grocery store (e.g., Ktown) but I don’t think it is a huge dealbreaker. Frankly, their meat prices are now the same as similar meat cuts sold at grocery stores since food costs have gone up. Plus there is this nice feeling of supporting local and knowing the money is going fully to a family versus a big corporation like a grocery store chain.Upon entering the store, there were fridges filled with meat cuts in the middle and left side of the shop. The right hand side had some daily items like cooking supplies and some food. Everything was clean and organized with clear labels and prices. Majority of the meats were frozen and the only unfrozen meats were a small selection in the center where the counter was. I can see where some reviewers didn’t like the meat being mostly frozen but this is a small storefront in a strip mall. If you’re in the area or don’t want to deal with the traffic and parking issues (e.g., street parking, valet or spending minimum of $35 or more for limited parking time) in Ktown for marginally cheaper meat, definitely give Angus Meat Market a try. The husband threw in a scallion salad for free.

2023-09-29 23:39:55Great quality meat. Prices are better than what I’ve seen at the meat counters of the nearby Korean markets. The service was exceptional and the ahjussi owner was so kind. I felt like he went above and beyond in helping me. They even have brisket sauce that tastes like the sauces at Korean BBQ restaurants. If you are local and want to buy meat for homemade hot pot or Korean BBQ, I recommend shopping for your meat here.

2023-09-30 00:12:36First time at this Korean market and I am very impressed with the quality of their meat! The pricing is very reasonable and the quality of the meat is exceptional. The ahjussi that helped me check out was very kind and hospitable. I will definitely come back in the near future and highly recommend this place if you are looking to buy affordable, high-quality meat!

2020-11-04 03:37:36I visited this place after the long absence as I moved to a different area. They greeted me with a full smile and guided me over what marinated beef I should buy. Their recommendation did not disappoint me. My wife and I very much enjoyed it. Great service and excellent quality. Thank you, Angus meat.

2020-05-19 21:27:13Beware!!! Worst beef ever!! Ruined our dinner!!I bought 3 packs of wagyu beef from this place and it was horrible quality beef. I have never tasted anything this bad so took 2 packs back. To let the owner know how bad the beef is. The owner response was once it leaves the store we have nothing to do with the beef. Wow. Not even an apology. Won’t ever be going back. But they did have decent pork.
