I came here knowing nothing beforehand and fell in love with the food, I wish I took pictures of it but next time Im here I will.I got the chicken 65 and loved it, so freaking good, the naan was good and so were the specialty drinks. The art on the wall is beautiful as well! 10/10 would recommend

We ordered the veg thalli. The taste of the items on the plate were quite good. The veg Khurma was very nice with the right spices of Chettinad cuisine. Their chappatti is oily like many south Indian restaurants. I wish the veg porriyal was something different than potatoes. But the potato porriyal was tasty and very similar to South homemade potato porriyal.Their website mentioned that they are open till 3 pm for lunch on weekends. But they stop taking orders by 2:30 pm.The service was fast and the staff were courteous. The restaurant is spacious with simple and tateful decor. I would recommend to others especially those who enjoy non-veg South Indian cuisine.Update: we visited as part of a large group and all items were very tasty with correct flavors.

We werent sure of the restaurant time and we reached around 2:28 pm two minutes before close. Appreciate the host or the waiter who allowed us. I dont know his name. The only dish available was South Indian thaali and biryani.I ordered vegetarian thaali and my spouse ordered chicken 65 biryani. The food was awesome, I thoroughly enjoyed my thaali. From sambar to sweet it was delicious. So was the chicken 65 briyani. The only thing was the chicken in the biryani was very little. More rice and less meat. Appreciate it if they added enough meat as well.Would come back to Anjappar to enough the delicious meal. sure to be on time and not arrive at closing time.

Went there on a Friday evening with a bunch of friends. It was not crowded and we got a table right as we entered the restaurant around 8pm.The food is amazing and matches the one you get in the Chettinad part of India. It is a bit on the spicy side, which I do not mind as I love spicy food. They have a good variety of items to choose from. I tried their Anjappar vegetarian thali and it was good if not great. I have had better south indian vegetarian thalis elsewhere. They serve nice dosas and vadas. My wife loves their biryani.Overall one of the good south Indian restaurants in the area.

Update:We come here almost every month, thanks to my son who loves their goat biryani and goat sukka. We have tried every thaali except goat thaali. Fish and egg thaali is good. Fish curry is tangy and mild spiced, perfect with rice. Kothu parotta is another one worth trying. We tried naatu koli rasam, which was a little disappointment. The normal rasam in thaali tasted much better. Either the cook didnt know how to prepare (if this was standard) or they goofed up in what they served us this day.First review:I like their fish thali.. fish curry was great. Sides ok. Goat biryani was good, though my son felt it little spicy! Not very crowded even on Sunday afternoon,

Just been there. Ordered food and boy came after 15 mins saying that food is served out today. Order another item, and waited for an hour and boy kept plates ready in front of us and left. Then owner came and ask are you waiting for anything to order. After 1 hour and 15 mins food (fried rice) came in and imagine fried rice is not even hot to eat. Chicken in the fried is too salty. My dinner mood is spoiled with irresponsible staff and management.Try other options if possible.

We went for a birthday treat on a weekday. It was not crowded, but there are still lots of pickups. The menu is online and able to choose it quickly. The food tastes really good. It is spicy, but that how Indian dishes should be.It is a good experience and we will go again.

The food is so amazing, great ambience and the owners and head chef made us feel like home!! We dined all 3 days during our 3 day trip! We tried Vada, Rava dosa, mutton curry, Kari Dosa, Veg and seafood thaali, chicken 65, tandoor Paneer, mutton biriyani- everything was too good and difficult to pick a favorite!Just cant wait to get back here! Keep rocking!
