Went for the first time. Had the Winston Churchill breakfast (smaller plate).Homestyle cooking and atmosphere.Just wish I saw the bus boy cleaning the tables between customers.Sticky table tops, chairs etc.Pleasant for casual dining.Overall enjoyable experience.Took some leftovers home. For the price the portions are generous.

The locals here couldn’t stop praising this place so we had to check it out.Annie’s cafe is a welcoming quaint cafe that offers a delicious range of breakfast items. The servers know everyone by name it seemed and it feels like a nice homey sit down breakfast place.They brought us some hot coffee to start the day off, and we ordered some eggs and hash-browns, along with some juice on the side. They brought out the food rather quickly and it was piping hot and smelled like breakfast heaven.The food was amazingly delicious and we didn’t even have any left to take home cause we ate it all.The server was fantastic and attentive, and the prices were more than reasonable.It’s not often you can find a good down home breakfast place or this caliber that makes you feel welcome but we did! Check this place out!

Wonderful lunch experience with dear friends. Owner and staff were exceptional in service and friendliness. Two of us were newbies and we wore their traditional welcome hat and the restaurant customers and staff sang to us.

Gotta give it up to the cooks and the staff! I sat at the counter on a PACKED Friday morning and those gentlemen and lady did not stop the whole time that I was there. I ordered Corned beef and hash with eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes. Good stuff! For being as crowded as it was the service was awesome. Oh and it was someones birthday so I saw the dance that the waitresses do for them. Ill go back again and try something else. The restaurant has an English Red Telephone booth in a corner and other decor. A nice touch. If youre around Annies deserves a visit.

Great little gem. Prices are good, around $6-$12 for most things, and quality is great. Biscuits and gravy was awesome, soft inside, crisp outside. I had to get the Winston Churchill, not the kind of thing Id normally get, but was pretty awesome in the end. The grilled tomato goes perfect with the bangers, and the baked means, mushrooms and Canadian bacon also great pairing. Lastly is the potatos and eggs, classic. Try the fried bread too.Most of all, the service was impeccable, 11 out of 10 for that.

We sat outside, and we had to keep asking for things. It didnt seem as if the patio is used much. Our waitress was really great! We chose this place because we had our dog and it was advertised as pet friendly.

Our server was nice but our order was wrong. We ate it anyways and it was good. We asked if they offered a military discount. One of the other servers, (heavy-set with black hair) took our check to give a discount. I overheard her at the register mockingly say “Thanks for serving our country” and laughed. She brought the check back with 79 cents off the $50+ order. I by no means expect a discount but 79 cents and a condescending comment from the other server is just a slap in the face. We didn’t want to make a scene because at least OUR server was nice. I hope the new management does something about their other unpleasant and disrespectful server.

Generally, it was a great time. The service was really on point, they have a great coffee bar with lots of different flavors to dress your coffee too. Waitresses did a little sing and dance at a certain point which was a bit alarming and awkward but also cute and old-timey. Really comforting environment. The food was just okay though but we left replenished and happy from the restaurants good vibes. Their apple tart was very good though but its on the smaller side. We ordered ice cream with it, which the scoops were very generous portions. Great spot after visiting the poppy apocalypse, which is why we stopped there.

Cozy, friendly service, & a good variety of breakfast, lunch, & dinner menu. First, had the New York Cheesecake - Ive had better, but it still was pretty good. Next, I had the eggstravaganza omelette with hash browns - it was yummy! The kids menu was good. My God-daughter wasnt that hungry so the Baby Cakes was perfect for her. My wife had a country breakfast with buiscuits & gravy - the gravy just fell a bit short on flavor. Overall, a good find on the way to San Diego Safari Park!

Only writing a review because I feel like Im being avoided. I ordered food to go a few days ago. On that order I asked and reminded the caller multiple times that I needed my food to not have contact with egg(due to an egg allergy), yet my items were in the same container, on top of egg! Due to this, I, not only wasted money, I still had to make breakfast. I called & was told to call back for the manager or owner. I did so, and they werent there. Called the next day and the same thing. I expected more out of this business.

My husband got polish sausage sandwich on rye with a side of chili - he loved the sandwich and the chili was OK. I had avocado toast - it was good but the poached eggs - the yolks were only half there and cooked hard. A little disappointing. The servers were great and the birthday singing and dancing by the staff were fun to watch.

This is an EXCELLENT place to grab some breakfast or lunch. The food is fantastic, the people are fun, fast and friendly. They even make it more than a meal by dancing to songs, and putting silly hats on people. Reminds me of some of the restaurants at DisneyWorld!

Annies Cafe is a great place for Breakfast and Lunch (because they only do breakfast and lunch). Sorry we were in a rush so I forgot pictures. But we had breakfast, my eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was good thick bacon, not the thin crumbly over cooked stuff. My wife had the French Toast and eggs, also very good. And our daughter had biscuits and gravy, also very good. They have a big menu of options with lots to choose from, including a kids and seniors menu for light eaters. Highly recommend.

Honestly I don’t know how this place has such a good rating. maybe I just got a bad dish, but I came in yesterday and ordered country fried steak. I asked for the eggs to be substituted for hash browns and didn’t realize it was extra charge. I was very disappointed to see that my plate still had the eggs and not extra hash browns. maybe it was for the best since the hash browns on both my partner and I plate were burnt. to the point we couldn’t eat them so on the bright side he was able to eat the egg that I would’ve thrown away since I can’t eat them.Not worth 35$

This Cafe consistently has poor quality food. We went today because it was near where I needed to go for blood work. I had Hawaiian French toast with fresh fruit. With the first bite I could tell that is was cooked in old (reused) oil. Some of the strawberries were over ripe as well. Ill never eat there again.Dennys does so much better and for a better price.

Im so glad we visited Annies! They had really good food and the service was phenomenal. On your first visit they dance for you if you let them know its your first time. Its so much fun! This should be a 4.5/5Great service and coffee is excellent! Food is good but didnt knock my socks off. Only had 1 dish so maybe not fair. Very cramped seating because it is a local favorite.Not sure what the big deal with their coffee cake is, but I was not a fan. Maybe just not my taste.Portions are good and there was even a secret show in the morning. It can be charming or cringe depending on who you are, but its all in good fun.I say give them a try. It is a solid local business that puts customer service at a high level and I dig that.

My sisters and I had lunch and it was very busy, but the wait staff had it all under control. They were very friendly and professional.. The portions are huge, tasty and the prices reasonable. We stayed until closing purposely, because the cook turns the music up and sings as he and the staff start cleaning up. They have quite a few patrons that stay for this.The staffs cheerfulness is contagious.

Not sure what was going on with the cooks, or if this is the new “Annie’s” (I hadn’t been here in a year). Chanel is the best. For a first time customer to be greeted by her I felt welcomed immediately. My Annie’s super breakfast was delicious. I am very particular about bacon, eggs and hash-browns. My requests for the eggs and the hashbrowns were met to a tee and I didn’t even have to mention the bacon and it was nice and crispy. Although, I was informed there is usually a long wait time.Annies has a small dining area, 24 tables. Patio seating is available.I ordered the porkloin chops breakfast.Perfectly grilled and tender. I substituted the toast for homemade coffee cake with melted butter. The portions were HUGE!The servers were very friendly and helpful.Chanel waited on me, and by the time I left, she felt like an old friend.I would definitely recommend Annies,but get here early. I absolutely love the David sandwich and their banana pancakes!! The owner is very nice and the waitresses too. They are keeping up social distancing while still being able to allow you to dine in and enjoy your meal and time. They also have outdoor dining as well. The food was great. For a restaurant being full and crowded the waiters were on top of it. We were almost immediately seated and drinks placed on our table. Food was on our table within 10 to 15 minutes of arriving there for a party of six might I add. Portions were, as Goldilocks would say just right even the kids plates. Waiters were attentive fast and responsive with a smile and a great attitude. I love this place. Its small but they have the veranda which makes it much bigger. I wish there were more restaurants like this and Im glad that we finally have one here close by. I could probably go on and on but just try it for yourself.

My question is, why take on more customers than you can handle? All for the money. Another greedy restaurant. The restaurant itself is not very large, so it gets full quickly. The food was good for the most part. The service was decent. It was packed in the middle of the week around 11am, so I dont even want to think how busy this place would be during the weekend.I ordered an omelette (I dont remember the name, but I know out was the smaller version of a 4-egg omelette) with the country potatoes. The omelette was really good. The potatoes were not my favorite. I like my potatoes to be soft, and these were a bit on the harder side.The food took a while to get to us, but as I mentioned before, they were very busy. I would go to Annies again, but I would probably avoid it during the weekend. There is a large parking lot because they share it with a shopping center, but I can see it getting full quickly. I would refine recommend the food, but just make sure youre specific as to how you want things cooked (particularly the potatoes). ;)

I loved this place! If they find out you have never been there, you have to wear a burger hat and the only way to get to take it off is to get up and dance. Also, about once an hour, the lights go out, music comes on and the waitresses do a choreographed dance! It was cool to visit a place that has some original quirks to it. Annies rarely disappoints, but this trip was not good. My burger was dry as sandpaper ( definitely overcooked) service was ok but not their usual.

WOW!!! The food is amazing and the prices are unbeatable. Feels like your dining with family the wait staff is extremely attentive and the owner even makes time to say hi and dance! Well be back every weekend!!!!

This place is amazing, the food is delicious and filling, the service is great we didnt have to wait much for anything, all of the employees are super nice and friendly, they even do little dances that everyone in the restaurant seem to enjoy. I really enjoyed my time here, and I dont usually write reviews, but this place is awsome!

For inexpensive, delicious meals with friendly atmosphere, you cant beat Annies. I have been around the world and have yet to find a restaurant staff that makes you feel like family the way Annies does. Food is always excellent, quick polite service is always something this place strives for. If Zagat gave a higher rating than 5 stars, Annies would raise the bar by 5 more stars. I cant praise this place any higher.

Solid Lake Elsinore restaurant owned by British couple who exemplify all that is good about their nation - quality, honesty, humor.Food portions are healthy and prices are market rate. I grew up working in kitchens and travel internationally for 30 years, so my review of the food is going to be a little more critical and therefore offer 2 reviews:Discerning palate -- 2.5Average Joe - 4.0My favorite item on the menu is the Winston Churchill which is brilliant: 2 eggs, Banger (British sausage), baked beans, grilled tomato, toast. The waffles are quite good and they offer 2 types of sausage - link and patty. The link sausage is unique in that theyre large, chubby, juicy, delicious.The service is quite possibly the best service one could expect anywhere while the atmosphere is racous and jovial.

We sat on the patio. It was a nice peaceful place to have breakfast on a Sunday morning. Great service. Friendly family atmosphere. I will be coming to eat here more often.

The selection of food is tremendous. The staff is not only attentative but engaging with every customer and the little dance number they do is very entertaining. Great place to eat i highly recommend this place.

Wow Annie Cafe is one of the best places to eat. Great food and friendly people! I love the little Mom and Pop restaurants and with the state making it so hard to be in business there harder and harder to find. If you are passing through Lake Elsinore and get hungry, this is the place to stop!!!! Great food and services at a great price!!!!

Love it. I go early on weekdays, right after they open. Don’t come on the weekends for breakfast unless you are willing to wait. It’s small in there, with cramped seating, but again, I purposefully don’t eat here when they are super busy.Food is great, reasonably priced, adequate portions.

Wow this place is super fun great atmosphere and if your lucky you get to catch a live performance by none other than Annies girls. Good food reasonably priced and friendly service. If your looking to visit a place in time where things were wholesome and good again, Annies Cafe is just that place.

Good food, good size portions, friendly service. Have never had a waite for table, but place is always about 70 percent or more full. One of the cleanest and well maintained places I have been to.

Annies is very popular here in Lake Elsinore. There are a number of reasons for this. 1. The food is very good. 2. The atmosphere is fun and positive. 3. The waitresses dance!Annies is not your cookie cutter breakfast/lunch place. On the weekend, and even sometimes on weekdays people will wait to get in. The staff is efficient and friendly, but its due to Annies being so popular that you sometimes must wait.I love going to Annies! I could rave on and on about the owners, the people that work there, the food and the atmosphere. Oh, and if youre there for the first time, dont tell them its your first time unless you want to wear a funny hat, ok?

We got a coupon on Facebook which reeled us in. It was a great experience! Riley was are waitress 10+. The whole staff was excellent. Plus there was entainment. We live in Menifee it was worth the drive. We will be back.
