A cute nice little place for quick food when hungry. Price reasonably and any other sandwich place. I asked to add avocado in my tofu sandwich instead mayo. Delicious. Its 11 bucks sandwich, not cheap but I guess we are in recession with everything price rise, the rent and labor. But its good and fresh.

Average banh mi sandwich.Had grilled chicken sandwich which was very ok and bland.The jalapeños were not at all spicy.Also there was very less sauce altogether.Service was pretty fast.

Ive ordered pick-up from here twice and both times, the food was ready on time and is very delicious! So far Ive tried the BBQ Pork Banh Mi and the Grilled Pork sandwich. The flavor of the meat is savory and the vegetables help balance it out. Ive also tried the Green Milk Tea and the regular Milk Tea. Both were perfect amount of sweet. I keep forgetting to take a picture of my food because its so good that I just eat it as soon as I get home! The staff is also very friendly. Ill definitely be coming back to try more menu items.

Really amazing and delicious sandwiches on a budget! This place isn’t fancy, but it’s very clean and the people here are super kind and good vibes. The food is delicious and makes me feel good after eating too.I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. I find the chicken sandwich to be the best item.

Loved this place. Great lunch spot, cheap and great food.I love their banh mi. The very first time I tried it, I understood that this restaurant is a keeper. The baguette melts in your mouth. My usual pet peeve with banh mi is that they make it a touch dry but not this bad boy, it’s so fresh and flavorful.Will definitely frequent this place a lot.

This definitely falls into the category of “food I’ll be craving in a week’s time”. Really kind staff, great flavors and fresh bread. The special combo sandwich was a real hit. Highly recommended!

Annie’s is without a doubt the best Vietnamese sandwich in Santa Clara and I think the best sandwich period in the area. The bread is fresh and chewy on the inside but crunchy on the outside. The toppings are always exceptionally fresh and the pork is flavorful. I would eat here any day!

Not only are their sandwiches delicious, but the people who run this place are the best! They made me feel at home, and so friendly. And of course, the food is SO good. I got the chicken bahn mi sandwich and it hit the spot! A friend got their smoothie and loved it. Prices are very reasonable! I will definitely be going back, i loved it here!

Charming staff, great food. Tried the grilled pork banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee. So good they were gone by the time I thought to take a picture. Lemongrass scented pork and spicy jalapeños on crunchy bread.

I ordered 6 different Banh Mis and the bread was the right amount of crunch and softness. The filling was really good too. The staff here are so sweet!! They have a bunch of other options that I hope to try and will be back.

Solid 3 stars - Cheap Quick Bites•Food was average•Friendly staff.•Microwaved chicken (not unusual)•Thai Tea tasted like it was made using a pre made mix.Overall great place to eat if your in a pinch, on a budget, and need something fast. Quality is more aligned with fast food quality and service. I would recommend this place if you need a quick lunch that’s not pizza and around SCU campus. I would not recommend if you’re seeking a high-end quality sandwich or Thai tea.

I love Annie’s!Customer service 5/5: the employees at Annie’s have always treated me so kindly. They are very personable and care about their customers. They are also very quick with making the order!!Food 5/5: the sandwiches are addicting. The bread has the right amount of crunch and softness. The meat is very well seasoned and grilled. I recommend the #6 and the Thai milk tea.If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, I 100% recommend Annie’s!

The best value for spectacularly tasty and health forward food is right here off of the Alameda.The flavors are clean and light while being seasoned perfectly. The bread is always crunchy but never cuts up my gums like other sandwich chains.Im getting 6 sandwiches to go. My total is around 45 bucks before tip..... The equivalent of ordering sushi for two people!!Come say hi to Annie and pig out!!!

The cilantro was fresh and crisp, the pickled veggies were just the right sour and sweet and the BBQ pork was perfect and juicy. The bread was fresh too. Very tasty! The place is clean and everyone was super nice. Im stingy with my five stars but they got all five. :D

Maybe it’s inflation, but $8.50 for one Banh mi? The bread was the best part of the sandwich; bbq pork was bland, daikon and carrots were bland, and when they asked my GF if she wanted jalapeños, they didn’t ask me. I assumed I would get jalapeños, but no. Also very light on cilantro. I suppose this is what happens when you get Vietnamese sandwiches nowhere near the east side. Will not go back.

Came in for the 2nd time within 2 weeks and they remembered me from my first visit. Besides the top notch customer service, they offer a wide variety of Vietnamese and American sandwiches. Food is very good and price is reasonable. All sandwiches are priced under $8, which is a deal in the Bay Area. This will be my go to whenever Im in the area.

I had the chicken sandwich, with everything on it as posted. It was delicious. I love the Vietnamese flavoring, which is to say, the use of fresh ingredients with just enough seasoning. It is simple but perfect lunch. Right size, nice bread and fresh fillings. I also had Thai Coffee, right on. Highly recommend it.

Great Vietnamese sandwiches, but high price. Convenient location near the SCU campus. They have a flavorful Daikin/carrot slaw and the grilled pork had a lot of flavor. This is my second time and it was really good. Id come back again.

Probably the best bahn mi available in the area. Great bread, fresh fillings, generous in the pate, perfectly balanced ingredient proportions.I did have to sit in a bed for two hours cos their tofu sandwich does not note it contains nuts, and i have a pretty bad nut allergy. If youre reading this Annie, please fix that!

Hidden gem right by Santa Clara University! The food here is cheap but delicious. You cant go wrong with any of these sandwiches and the guy who makes the sandwiches is so sweet and kind. If you need a good filling meal at a very cheap price, go here. Definitely will go again. Worth every penny.

With the recent change in ownership, I was excited to see what was in store! The banh mi are now made with a deliciously softer bread, but still tough enough to keep the shape of the sandwich together. Theres a generous buttery spread that really ties together the grilled meats, whether its chicken, beef, or pork, they all work amazingly well. And it was a pleasant surprise to taste herby seasoned chicken that didnt overpower the rest of the sandwich.Would definitely recommend getting any of the grilled meat sandwiches. Remember to get 2 so you can get some of that delicious house made Thai tea!!AND they have a tofu sandwich as a vegetarian option!!!

Maybe I chose the wrong sandwich, but I dont love this place as much as other reviewers. I was looking forward to it while visiting the area for the first time in years, but the reviews set expectations too high. Service was nice enough, but the chicken sandwich I ordered had the goo you typically see in a can of dog or cat food. I may not be much of a meat eater, but getting that all down took some resolve, gratefulness that I had something to eat at all, and not wanting to disrespect the college mate who paid for the meal. One star for service, another for not dying from what I ate, and final star for not getting sick other than from imagining that I might actually be eating dog food. I dont mean this is a snarky way. Its an honest expression of my experience and Im glad others have a higher opinion than I do.

Ive had banh mi in Saigon, banh mi in Hue, banh mi in Garden Grove, and banh mi in Houston. Annies Sandwiches makes the best banh mi on the planet.No Im not exaggerating. The crust is light and flaky yet somehow still fluffy. If youre an OG, ask for the grilled lemongrass pork (thit nuong). The thit nuong is moist and slow-cooked with intense flavor, and the pickled veggies are sweet and tart enough to balance the umami from the meat.Make your special person happy. This small vietnamese restaurant serves mainly banh mi but also sells other dishes such as rice plates and pho. Most of their sandwiches are under $5 and are great if you want a quick lunch. Their combo sandwich is my favorite, but it may not be for everyone as it has some ingredients that some may not be familiar with. I would recommend either the grilled pork or grilled beef. This restaurant is located right next to Santa Clara University, making it great for students.

The only place I’ve had better Bahn Mi was in Ho Chi Minh, and even then it’s a toss up! I’ve been to Vietnamese sandwich shops all around the Bay Area and none beat Annie’s. Super friendly staff and delicious, quick food. Try it and become a regular!

Ordered the Pork Bahn Mi. Pleasantly surprised to realize a subtle flavor of my childhood: Lemongrass. Not on their list of ingedients but packs a lot of nostalgic flavor. Second time here and will be back again! Thai Ice tea was pretty legit too. Chase it down with a shot of espresso.
