I dont think I will be going to Applebees again anytime soonFirst thing odd was we had to wait along with several other parties when there were in fact many tables open it was 20 till 6 the hostess said about 20 min, another patron remarked oh happy hour ends at six ....I didnt think of that or if it had any meaning but certainly makes sense ...I ordered the special with the salad a burger and wings for a buck .it was so cold in the place I had to get my elderly mother out of there so we got boxes and took the food to go ....we ate at home...Thursday night by Friday afternoon I had become terribly sick and was on the verge of the ER come Saturday...Im not sure what the bug was but I bet it rhythms with food poisoning being raised in a restaurantI should know things to avoid such as blue cheese dressing coleslaw and perhaps hamburger meat ...could be fact could be coincidence...funny thing I was telling my friend about it and he remarked he and his family went to Applebees recently and he and two of his kids got sick in the same manner ...I can say the server did her best in a situation she couldnt control like the temperature in the place so hats off to her getting our food to go

Today was not good, I went before and ordered the steak meal and its was pretty good.Today for an appetizer I ordered the boneless wing Asian zing, it wasnt for me it had too much breading and sauce was overpowering and salty, with too much soy sauce in it.We also ordered the riblets (I think thats the name), dry and tasted like liquid smoke was slathered all over them, the dipping sauce was way sweet and overwhelming, there is nothing subtle about these sauces, I wont order these items again..

Go here if you want to be ignored and have bad service. I saw a bartender over serve 2 guys at the bar. It took the same bartender 10 minutes to ask me if i wanted a drink, then another 5 to get me a menu. She had no idea how to pour a beer, then ran her dirty fingers on the rim of my glass that I found was cracked while drinking. The older manager walked around like a zombie not checking on any tables. Of and the food sucked.Is there an employee manual at Applebees showing how to suck as a server? I swear every location I have ever gone to sucks.

Definitely not my favorite place. We came here because my son won an award for a kids meal or mozzarella sticks. He opted for the mozzarella sticks and rook 1 bite, but my husband and I finished them. They were your typical frozen and fried cheese sticks. We ordered the two for $27 meal, and I really wish I hadnt. The stuffed rigatoni was awful and really dry. The ribs were tough and hard to eat. I also ordered a French onion soup. Im glad I did, because it was the only tasty thing I had. The kids had chicken strips, and they were a hit. UT was pretty slow when we were there, but the service was lacking. No one asked us how our food was, I had to flag someone down for a refill on my iced tea, and there was absolutely no pre-bussing. Every empty dish and glass was on our table until after we left, that is one of my biggest pet peeves, so it may not bother everyone. Somehow we spent about $80, and most of the food went in the trash. The only reason I would come back would be if my son received another award and wanted to use it. At least now I know to just stick with the French onion soup.

First thing I heard walking in there is two ladies saying what takes so long do a chicken wing order. I sat on the bar I took a minute. The bartender needs to clean up. And the food was ok. Theres no kareoke or ladies night which is lame I understand the bartender. As for the gm. No show. 25 bucks

Went with girlfriends for lunch on rainy Thursday. Best deal is on back of menu 2 for 25 or 2 for 30.Artichoke spinach dip was awesome. Food was very tasty. Portion size is great for the price.

I usually have a good experience, but they v have been dropping the ball lately. I usually order the chicken oriental salad, and as we know, it comes with specific dressing.One time, it was tossed already and not on the side. By the time I got home and ate it, it was soggy. Today, I got home and had no dressing! I was too tired to go back. I tried to eat it by itself, then added what I had (italian) and that was a mistake. Anywho, thats why I gave it 4 and not 5. Hopefully, next time is better.

The staff are absolutely fantastic! Eric and Ashley are fantastic! Always so memorable. The make the experience worth coming regularly. It’s always a pleasure having management stop by and say hello. The food is always excellent and the prices can’t be beat!

Not sure if Tyson is the general manager or a shift manager but if not the GM, he should be. Absolutely stellar customer service . A mistake was made on my order and not only did they turn the grill back on just before close in order to remake the item (which. I completely understand is a big headache for the kitchen staff), but he also remade the side fries which he didn’t need to do, asked me to keep the wrong item which I’d brought in to return to them, but also says he is sending a GC to my email as a “sorry for the mistake” gesture . This blew me away. I was so impressed. He really went well beyond my expectations and I want to give him the recognition he deserves as well as the kitchen staff who had to remake it. Thanks a million!

This place took an hour to get our food out. We also had a toddler, and we asked to please take out the childs food asap, and that was not accommodated. When asked for a straw, the gentleman literally said catch and threw the straw across the table. The worst part of it all is that it was not busy for that type of service we received 😔 Over all we spend about 3 hours here.

This store has an AMAZING manager! Unfortunately good customer service is hard to find these days. So we ordered food through the applebees website for a delivery. They use a 3rd party service Doordash for their delivery service. Well we ordered and tracked our order via the tracking email it sent us.. order was prepared and left the store within 15 to 20minutes and we waited for our order and we get an update saying order was delivered with a photo of delivery service proof.. the picture was our bag in a parking spot by the cement and bushes?! I tried calling the delivery driver several times to ask where this mysterious delivery took place? There was no answer.. I finally called the store and the manager Tyson felt incredibly bad for us since we were in the hospital after just having our baby.. He had our order remade and sent his staff member to deliver it personally to us. Wow! Thats customer service! Shame on doordash for not helping out applebees or myself for their horrible delivery drivers service. Ive never heard of such a thing.. Thank you applebees menifee!! Thank you Tyson!!! Home of the WORLDS WORST margarita, seriously disgusting a glass of concentrated syrup & ice and maybe a teaspoonful (if that)of tequila As for the food, it was average. Im shocked by the descent reviews because my delivery is inedible... I wouldnt eat it if it were free! Chicken quesadilla tasted of mold, maybe the tortilla? Spinach dip as well as the alfredo was flavorless mush. Mashed potatoes were pasty mush, no seasoning, & I was afraid to try the shrimp/chicken. Over $65 + tip going straight to the trash. They were short staffed in the kitchen on a Friday night. So they had a longer wait than expected.Our server was Sara and she was extremely kind and attentive.My food came out incorrectly three times and my dates food was cold waiting for mine to arrive.Considering the issues with my meal, I would have thought the manager would have stopped by to check on us.Its been a while since I worked in a restaurant but I feel their service could have been better.My food was so salty I really couldnt eat much of it. I had the impossible burger which I asked for patty only (no bread) with steamed broccoli.Probably would not give them a second to try based on the salt. Of everything else, that was my deal breaker.

Definitely not coming back to this location again or even any Applebees. Went in Friday the 14th around 845-900 at night. We sat at the bar and ordered. I usually get the same meal which is the fiesta lime chicken. Ordered it and food came out it looked good. Started to eat the chicken and rice. The rice was cold like it came out the refrigerator. The chicken was warm however it’s covered in a cilantro cream sauce which is hot so it’s hard to say if it was cooked properly. I told the waitress about my cold rice. It took about 12 minutes for her to bring me the rice and it was terrible. There were chunks of rice stuck together that were really hard like a rock. I Didn’t finish the food. I paid the bill and left. The next morning I was terribly sick. Figured it was food poisoning. Can’t say if it was the chicken or the rice. I can say it was the worse feeling I have ever had. Never have I been so sick like this. Body aches all day and night. Not able to control any digestive at all. It completely dehydrated me. It’s Monday now and I’m still having some affects from Friday. I wasn’t going to say anything but after reading reviews about this location I see multiple people have gone through this problem. They really need to train their people better on how to cook food with out causing people to get really sick.

The two females that are seating people have no customer service skills we come in and all they say is its gonna be 15 minutes to be seated dont ask for our name or anything so we wait and wait and people that got there after us about 3 separate families got seated before us I am very disappointed with whoever the two woman are that were hosting in front because of them me and my family will not ever return again get your place in order understand theres low staffing but you go in order not make people wait that got there before other people thats wrong if I could rate no stars I would.

So for starters the service started off right we ordered our drinks and appetizers but then my mom got her steak salad and she ordered it well done then I came out almost rare (the Meat) and when packing up leftovers of her salad she found a hair at the bottom of the plate and another longer hair that we pull out aswell. I decided to call in my order today so I didnt have to wait and Jessica was so polite and accurate. She even asked if I wanted to order any dessert for later. We attempted to eat here for a late lunch (2:45). There were quite a few people in line, waiting to put their name on the list but noticed a bunch of empty tables. The bar was packed though and everyone sitting there had food and two people waiting on them, bartender included. After about 10 minutes of waiting, someone finally came up to the front and told us it would be about 45 minutes to be seated. I asked if they were short staffed and was told they werent, that they were just busy. We were told that we could be seated at the bar right away. Mind you, we had our toddler with us. Im just confused why they were favoring the bar over the rest of the restaurant?? We left because who wants to wait 45 minutes for a table and possibly that same amount of time once seated since we werent going to be able to sit at the bar.

Server we had stood in the corner talking to coworkers about New Years parties and other things most of the time while we were there. Took forever for her to even greet us let alone come back for our drink order. She did ask if we were ok, but seemed like at the wrong time. Had to ask for things multiple times (straws from bar because she forgot, refills, box). Just seemed super preoccupied with social stuff. Spoke to the manager and he didnt even seemed like he knew how to handle the situation Ill talk to her so your next visit is better. Wont be coming back

Plus, our bartender shared with us and all those around how displeased she was with her workload. Its Friday night so there was a little bit of a wait, but the crowd was happy and calm so it was no problem. Enjoyed excellent service super thumbs up to Kyle. Steak was juicy and tasty and fabulous! Ribs were just a touch spicy for me but they were still really good. I just couldnt eat very many. Had our constant favorite which is the wonton tacos if you have not tried them you absolutely have to. Again a little crowded but what do you expect on a Friday night in a popular place.

We arrived to see a lot of young employees hanging around the front and back of the restaurant. They were very nice, but had little direction. Even though one whole side of the restaurant was vacant, and they had plenty of servers, customers were told they had a forty minute wait.The floor was filthy and apparently the groups of employees were too busy to take a broom and give it a light sweeping.Another customer asked for the manager, and was told the manager was in the back. We never saw the manager.We asked for napkins, and a young man said he didnt know if they had any! He did return with a couple.Our server was the bright spot. She was attentive and delightful.There are many sweet young people working here, but they have no direction, and we saw a lot of inefficiency. The manager needs to provide stronger direction until they have more experience.My steak was overly rare, but I didnt send it back, because I was afraid of what would happen!

We ate here because it was close to our Marriott Fairfield Inn across the street. We could almost walk to it, but we drove it was hot. Plenty of parking right next to the restaurant. The menu is varied. The service was just okay. Our server Isaiah A was professional, courteous, and helpful. He had a tendency to disappear on us. Paying the bill took too long and we had trouble wither device on the table ( not user friendly). Good place for salads and an inexpensive meal.

Great service especially for being Mothers Day. The wait was about 50 minutes to an hour but worth the wait. Our server made sure our drinks were never empty. Food was delicious and grilled perfectly. You never know about this place! Sometimes friendly and sometimes ignored. Food is usually good - but the wait can be long. Its our go-to place when we have to eat at a later hour (after church). We enjoy most of their foods, but they sure could use some help in management and a much more friendly and RESPONSIVE hostess greeting when we walk in!!!Have to add this: last time we were there we were told the wait was 1 1/2-2hours!!! It was late, after about 9pm (weeks ago). We have not been back since. It is ridiculous to tell people that long a wait - it says youre not interested in them as customers. Many tables were empty!

Our server was very nice, the inside of the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Drinks and salads came out quickly. Their dressings aren’t bad but they’re not great either. Ranch has good flavor but way too thin and runny. I ordered the riblet lunch special and my wife got a cheese burger. Food was slow to come out but the fries and ribs were tasty. Worst best time. The staff worked to sit our large party with all the restrictions and helped us make the best of no soda, no mozzarella sticks, no beer, etc. You helped us make the best of it and we had a blast. I think the servers were Wes and Sophie. Thanks for laughing at our jokes. Food and bahama mama was great. We werent rushed. Thank you for making my little nieces birthday a success.

Forced to give them 1 star but really they deserve none. Half the restaurant is empty but the wait is still 45 minutes. The hostess will offer seats to others coming in but wont say a word to you. If you request a table they will give you a booth. And they will look annoyed after you correct them. Just a bad experience and will be going elsewhere next time.

Great food great atmosphere as always, however, if you are in a hurry, go somewhere else. There were about 20 plus booths open and three couples waiting. We waited 20 minutes to get seated. Staffing shortage. Seems like Applebees has not updated their policy on how to manage people, on a holiday weekend, literally only one server for the entire restaurant. 2 hosts, bartender, bus person, but only one server. I asked my son why he didn’t apply to Applebees as a waiter and he said because they pay minimum wage. Not sure if that contributes to the problems they are having but, the manager was interviewing in the booth next to us. My wife said she saw many people come in and leave because of the wait. Seems like higher pay may help.

We love going to Applebee’s. Best customer service and great food. Madison is absolutely amazing! Since everything has been closed, it’s rare for us to go out especially with our kids. We visited again this week for some good margaritas but also in hopes that we would see Madison again. She is just so sweet and personable. From the service, by the very capable Brittney, to the food from the 2 for $20 menu, everyone was at the very least, content. Even the wallet.After reading several bad reviews, I was singing the song from the Clash: Should I stay, or should I go? Well, happy we all went. Place was busy at around 7:30 PM, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the time. Food from the limited, but none the less, very acceptable menu was certainly good enough for our hungry crowd. Even though we were only 5, we ordered 3 of the 2 for $20, so some food returned home with us for a later midnight snack!Only water was asked for, and even that was nicely delivered with Brittanys friendly smile.The bill came out to around $67.41?, which was kind of enigmatic, and had me trying to decipher the actual tax being charged, but now a days there are so many surcharges that I simply took it with a grain of salt. 17% was given to our server, surely deserved, and we walked away $74+ less.Is Applebees on the rebound? 4 Stars.

My husband and I havent been to Applebees in a while but decided to spend our date night at a location that used to be a favorite. We were disappointed to find that my favorite meal, Bourbon Street Steak was $16.84 and came with steak, small helping of sauted onion and mushrooms and roasted potatoes no salad or green veg of any kind. My husband ordered chicken parm and the chicken was a large two cutlet helping with pasta, but the sauce tasted like straight tomato sauce no salad. Salads had to be ordered separately . When we realized we hadnt ordered a salad we attempted to get our server to add it to our order. The first time he walked past me he made eye contact and I attempted to flag him over. He walked past me to the next table and did not return. The next 2 times he came by our table he completely avoided eye contact. Another server brought our order out. Then our aserver approached and saw my husbands drink was low. He stated, Ill be right back with your refill and walked away. 10 minutes later we had the refill- requested the check and left. The restaurant manager never once walked the dining room so we could not speak with him about the service. All in all very disappointing for the price. We will not be returning.

Every time we order the carside to go, they always forget to give us SOMETHING. Every time I get chicken tenders basket, they forget my side fries, I called and the manager tried to play it off like it didnt come with it even though I chose two sides(I get 2 sides AT the resturant, now that Im driving and picking it up, I dont get two full sides?). And also forgets to give ranch and coleslaw for my fathers entree.Honestly I get their busy, but every single time we go To-Go, something is missing. Maybe get some staff dedicated to just TO-Go orders during rush hour to make sure EVERYTHING is good with their order, cause I cant be the only customer having this problem. I always can tell the staff is rushing their ass off to get everything done, which I appreciate the hard work, but I dont appreciate how they are so busy that they cant fully fulfill an order(Im talking about you management...)To add on, sometimes I spend 10 to sometimes even 30+ minutes for my food to get out their door, when they said it would be ready at a scheduled time. They said they would comp the time by giving us deserts for free, which only included ONE scoop of ice cream(I ordered 5 meals, you would think they would be more considerate to give all 5 people waiting at my house for their meal to ALSO get a scoop of ice cream for waiting patiently).We spend $100+ every time we visited them, for them to blow it off like its not their problem really pissed my family off, we wont be spending our money there any longer.If you do decide to do Car-Side-Togo, make sure you have everything first before you leave or else you may be blow off like we were about sides.I would like to add, the floor staff who brings my food is always wonderful, and always have a good positive attitude when they bring my food, I just believe they are overworked and need more dedicated help for To-Go.

Whoooo that bourbon chicken with shrimp....let me tell you!!! Its my birthday dinner and we had a great time khi was our server and he was wonderful they are busy must be because of those 1 dollar margaritas! Yum! Good food good times. We will be back thank you!

I come to Applebee’s on a weekly bases and every time expectation of customer service is met. The server Amanda is an outstanding worker she goes over the top for her customers and is very polite. She always gives me the best of service even when it is late and everyone is tired she is high spirit and ready to help.

My bf and I stood in the entry way for several minutes unacknowledged by staff. No host/hostess. A busy server finally greeted and seated us near the bar. Our food was disappointing. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with broccoli and mashed potatoes. My broccoli was cold, and the chicken tasted and looked like it was frozen just before it hit the grill and flat as a pancake. My bf ordered fajitas and a salad. His salad was wilted, like it had been prepared earlier and sat in a fridge all day. They brought his tortillas and condiments 10 mins before his fajitas actually came to the table. The spanish rice with his fajitas tasted like it came from a knorr instant sides packet. If I wanted subquality food, I would’ve gone to fast food. Severely disappointed by our experience.

The food here is really amazing sometimes they are really crowded and it takes us like a 30 minute wait to get in. Theyre also short on staff in these days so it takes a while to get her food and even to order.

I order the Bourbon street Chicken and shrimp and it was amazing, I replaced the red skin potatoes with garlic smash potato. Server was really nice got us in and out, food came out fast. $1 margaritas are ok for being a $1

Just tried to call and place a pick up order while driving to the restaurant before heading home. Someone answered the phone and asked me to hold because there was one person ahead of me. After waiting for 8 minutes, I hung up and called back. The next person who answered the phone apologized and asked me to hold for a moment. 10 minutes later I finally hung up. I’ll eat somewhere else.

Ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken at 2 different Applebees. Neither of the cooks know how to cook. Both were overdone, rubber chicken. Hubby ordered a burger and it was underdone. We think someone is confused and doesnt know how to cook.

Very racist staff never thought in California out of all places. Were treated horribly one of the employees was calling us DJ Khaled and all types of racists remarks to the other employees and when we got the food it was so salty we couldnt eat it. Probably was done intentionally. If your not white I dont recommend going here they might poison u. Very sad i was planning on opening a business nearby.

First and probably last time here for lunch. Very disappointed, basically shocked. Lunch combo portions are ridiculously small, my pasta was dry and tasteless, chicken on it completely dry. For this much money I could of get full at Chilis.
