Came out for Veterans day and got one of their TINY steaks. It was good though....I was impressed with the Cook of the meat. It was Perfect Red/Pink in the middle.Drinks were ok......very standard.Service was good.

I’ve been here a few times and the one thing they are consistent with is over cooking their steaks and salmon. Overall this is a great spot for apps and drinks, but that’s about it.Food: 5/10I usually just come here for the apps and the 2/$25-30 deal. The apps are usually pretty good but the last time we went the wings came out cold. Our steaks came out medium, medium well and well done when we asked for medium rare on all three. They asked for two of the steaks to be redone and they came out medium and medium-well with barely any pink. I ended up not eating but my kids were able to. They did take one of the 2/$30 deals off as compensation, and I didn’t ask them to and I wasn’t expecting them to, so it was appreciated that they did so.Service: 9/10The server and everyone else was super nice and everyone has great work ethic. I hated even having to ask to send my food back, but the steaks were just too over cooked. They were nice about it, but when they messed up the second time and I cut the steak in half to show them, I was told that it was in fact medium rare because they checked the temperature before bringing it to the table. I didn’t want to argue because I knew the server was busy and I just told her I simply didn’t want it.Ambiance: 10/10Lots of seating, nice and clean environment. Typical Applebees decor and set up.Since I live by here I do enjoy coming by a few times a year, just definitely never getting steak or salmon here.

Very crowded it takes 30 minutes to be seated .and its cramped up it seems like. Food is ok not as good as other restaurants. The spinach cream appetizer was served like it has been reheated in microwave several times..

I came for happy hour. Soon as I walk in there is only 1 party of 4, Im next party of 2. The young Girl at the front and guy with the glasses Need more training. We were told the Bar is open seating. 1 booth was available and one table was open. I walked to sit at the booth and was told, I cant sit here. I walked back to the waiting area at the front door. While I wait, the young employee hostesses began to offer to take a family picture for them rather then seating customers waiting to be seated tables were clean. We waited for10 minutes I asked to speak with the manager once the manager walks up the young lady seated the party of 4 at the booth I originally sat. Instead of seating us by the Bar section for the Happy hour she seated us on the right side window next to the bar. Food came before our Margareta, beer and patron shot. I do appreciate the manager honoring the Happy hour even though we werent at the Bar.

Ambiance: Theres not much to say about it. It looks like all the others. Decor is strategic with tons of big screen tvs.Service: For it to be a Thursday night and fairly slow, the service was also pretty slow to begin with. Seemed a bit short staffed though, so I give grace.Food: I havent been to an Applebees in years, and I didnt miss anything. The meal was average, I was not a fan of the spinach dip. It had a weird aftertaste. The boneless wings seemed like they were a bit dry (even with sauce), but I really liked the quesadilla, mozz sticks, and chips and salsa. Had to switch out my Shirley temple for something else wasnt good.

Got the 2 for 25 deal. I ordered the chicken lime plate bf got the burger combo. Burger was good chicken was delicious the rice that came with the chicken was probably some of the worst I have had. Tasted so much like boxed rice a roni took one bite and that was it. House margarita was good and a decent price overall not bad. Considering I don’t eat at chain restaurants it was alright. I’d definitely go back for happy hour for the appetizer and drink deals but that’s about it. Service was good.

We had an absolute pleasant dinner on Sunday at this Applebee’s. Our waitress was Alexis, and I highly recommend her. She was friendly and super quick with our order. We did the 2 for $27 meal which was perfect. We also ordered the special $5 Tipsy Leprechaun drinks, and despite everyone who says they felt the drinks were “diluted” I personally thought ours were delicious. We wanted to try the Pot of Gold drinks, but they ran out of the pina colada mix!

My daughters and I went to Applebees-Signal Hill in May for an early Mothers Day Lunch. First off...our waitress whose name is PAIGE ..was awesome! Very friendly, fast, helpful and very knowledgeable. We ordered Nachos, Chicken Wonton Tacos and the Fiesta Chicken. Our food was done in a timely manner...and may I say..very delicious 😋 We had tea, Shark Drink and another drink..I cant remember..but were really good too! So I just wanted thank Paige again for the great, friendly service...for checking on us to make sure we were good. Hope we run into you again on our next visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food was amazing. Rack of ribs are so tasty. Chicken Alfredo was so creamy and rich. Service was great. My wife and I both got disentary, although we believe it was due to the ice in our drinks. Next time we will order our drinks without ice, and you should too. We will definitely come back though.

My husband and I have visited this restaurant numerous times in the past couple of years. The food and service has always been good. But tonight when we entered the restaurant, the first thing we noticed was trash all over the floor. At 7:00 in the evening, the air conditioning was on which made the restaurant very cold. We noticed that a certain attitude was obvious among the servers. The atmosphere had changed from what we noticed from a year ago when we visited the restaurant. Thepresentation of the food was fine, but both my husband and my food was salty. Runners didnt know where to deliver the food. Something changed in the management of the restaurant. By the time we left the restaurant, we were shivering from the air conditioning. When my husband and I came home, we didnt feel well. Both of us had upset stomachs.

The moment you enter you are definitely greeted but the service is not welcoming.We were seated but weren’t offered a drink or told that someone will be right with us. After several minutes of just sitting there I was convinced I needed to order on the tablets they have on the table. Finally someone came to take our order but we weren’t informed of happy hour. The server didn’t give us his name either. We only overheard him offering happy hour to the table across us.Food presentation was very boring. Taste was ok. Could be better. Spinach dip was bland, it was missing flavor.We weren’t checked on regularly during the course of our meal. Or asked if we needed anything else, like an extra napkin for example. Our server came and I told him we were done for the night and I sat there waiting for my check which never came. We go to this location fairly often it is usually great. The staff is friendly and the food is good. The only issue that have had on a regular basis, is the table tablets. I understand theyre for convenience. But even servers say they are not used often. As many may have guessed.....the games button is the problem. Someone at the table accidentally presses it...most of the time a child and the table it automatically charged $1.99. My son has done it and even though he doesnt play the games, they cannot reverse the charge. That I understand. But there have been several occasions tonight included where the tablet is at the wrong table and someone else pushes it and it gets automatically charged to our table. We were refunded for it via cash payout because they cant reverse the charge. Theyd have to run a whole new bill. Just make sure you look at your receipt because this is a notorious issue with all table tablet at restaurants.

Used to be 5 star all across the board but over time it’s been decreasing in quality and increase of wait times,Waited over 30 min and the server never even came to our table to introduce him/herself or offer something to drink, meanwhile 2 other tables that were sat way after were receiving their mixed drinks(which normally take a few extra min to get as opposed fountain drinks) extremely poor customer service today something that I didn’t expect to happen, to make the situation worse the the other servers when walking by our table would purposefully look the other way as to not make eye contact and/ or offer help to get the servers attention. if the app allowed id give it negative stars, so they will get the lowest score that the app allows. Hope management will see this and retrain their staff.

Im being generous with the stars because the place food was not that good but the service was good. It was a birthday meal with me and my birthday twin (a friend who shares the same birthday you do) and it so happened that something was wrong with my food but the manager came and spoke with me apologized sincerely and I was able to get something else. My only complaint is the food its main dish is seasoned with sauce or whatever which taste good (I got a burger the 1st time ribs the 2nd) but the sides werent seasoned I had loaded Mac & cheese and it was awful I also had green beans that I think was supposed to be garlic flavor but it looked like they were taken from the fridge and served to me. Again service great bathroom was decent although I did have to wash NOT wipe off the seat before using it. The restaurant atmosphere was great server Corey was awesome! Id still recommend the place just make sure to add salt and pepper or any other of your favorite seasoning to the food first

Regrettably, my perception of this place took a significant downturn compared to my previous visit. During this recent experience, I encountered uncleaned tables and an inattentive server. I had to use the table kiosk machine to place our order due to the absence of our server. By the time I managed to find someone for silverware, my appetizer had turned cold. Our drinks remained unfilled, and the state of the restroom was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this visit will mark my final time at this location.

The 2 for $25 is a good deal. Burgers & boneless wings are good, mashed potatoes are gluey. It is unclear when you place an order online (to pay at pickup) that the cashier/pickup location is a side door accessible thru the parking lot, not the front entrance. Might have seen the side door if parking was available at the restaurant, had to park at Jack In The Box next door. Went to the front entrance, waited in line and was told to walk thru the restaurant to the other side. Awkward set up because there is nowhere to wait on the side, you have to stand blocking an aisle while you wait for the cashier to charge you & grab your order.

False advertising for food promotions, long wait time, out of the front staff only one person seemed interested in doing their job, the rest gossiped in front of customers or were walking around avoiding customers until their coworkers were ready to continue gossiping. Food was mediocre & the pricing is ok. Not personally my choice to visit but there were others at the location so others may enjoy & have a different experience than the one I had. The place was by no means at full house or even packed. It was maybe a little more or less busy than half its dining space.

When my husband and i first arrived we were seated right away. But it took our server 15 minutes to even take our drink order. Then after are server brought our food out, I noticed she forgot the onion rings I had ordered as 1 of my sides. My onion rings came out 10 minutes after I recieved my steak and they tasted like Fish.Overall our server provided extremely poor service as we requested refills and did not recieve refills. I requested mustard with my meal and didnt recieve it. Then when we were ready to get our check she was no where to be found. We asked the manager for our check and our server came out with a Presto tablet and slammed it down on our table with a nasty attitude. Honestly not sure if I will return to this location as past 2 times we have visited the service has been extremely poor. And to our server you recieved no tip due to your lack of good service, your attitude, and your lack of professionalism.

This was our second time at Applebees went there just after they first opened couple years back. But very disappointed. We decided to give them a second chance. We both were very very pleased. The lady that served us was very good very attentive brought us everything that we asked for. And dinner was superb. My boyfriend had the double glazed ribs full rack mashed and broccoli said it was very good. I had the blackened Cajun salmon. And it couldnt have been any better. The chef cooked that fish better than some fancy restaurant Cooks fish it was moist and Flaky it was delicious!! And then I had the garlic mashed potatoes and the broccoli and both of them were cooked perfectly and The Taste was perfect! I also tried the blue Bahama Mama and that was delicious I drank every sip. Thank you to everyone making our dinner the best dinner!! We will definitely be back again! I used to love Applebees. It was a favorite of mine. But the food and service have gone downhill. My family took me out for my birthday. Our drinks were all charged at full price when it was happy hour. Plus it took nearly 20 minutes to get them. We ordered appetizers at the same time our drink order went in. It was noodles with melted cheese and a small dollop of alfredo sauce under the cheese. I complained about my steak so they took it off the bill. But then they charged me for the brownie bite and scoop of ice cream that was supposed to be free because its my birthday. None of our drinks were charged under the happy hour price. I had to have 3 different people adjust the bill before they got it right. The best things I ate tonight were the breadsticks and alfredo sauce and the brownie bite with ice cream. Im glad I didnt pay for my meal. In total the bill was over $100 for 3 people plus drinks and apps for 4. We were a party of 4 but my meal was free because of how badly they executed it. When it was all said and done, I agree with my niece. We should have gone to chilis or anywhere else.

They interpreted words that werent said and made me and my party group look like the bad guys. I understand it gets busy, but its also disrespectful to be ignoring your table like Alexis did. Very disappointed and I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Service was great and very friendly! Although we went during all the High School graduations going on and it was super busy we didnt have to wait to long. It was a little louder than usual but it was totally understandable...and worth it. The food was great tasting and the server was outstanding!

I wanted to drop another review here, recently forgot a very important coat if mine at the bar area around 11am, i noticed my coat missing till the end of the day, i went back at 5pm and they had kindly hung it and stored it away for safe keeping. Thank you so much everyone ! This is why this is our favorite place to spend our lunch break at.

It gets crazy busy at night especially since they announced that the $1 margaritas would be happening everyone seem to be at this particular restaurant that night we decided to go eat. Our server Lily did all she could to gets us our food but some how they missed our order. By the time we wanted to leave our food was already out in our table. Not only did she correct the mishap but she got the manager to give us an apology for the mistake we ended up leaving with a light check and all was corrected. I left with knowing what good customer service is all about.

Came after church. My daughter and I only waited 5 mintues to be sat. Our drinks and salads came quick. Food was nice and hot when they arrived. The waitress was very attentive. I have nothing bad to say about the Signal Hill location.

Blah! Blah & bland. 02/sun/18, 8pm Watch out for the old menus floating around, we got one of each. (old prices-new prices) not cool 🤔The food was super hot and very fast, had the Double Crunch Shrimp (salad-size) kinda soggy. Bourbon Chicken/Shrimp (again lil salad -size) roasted potatoes & grilled onion and a couple mushrooms . Chicken was a large all white chicken piece flattened and tasteless. I had lunch at Applebees today with a friend, and it was exquisite. We ordered the $25 meal for two which covers one side and two entrees.We had the baby back ribs and the sirloin stir fry. Oh my! Very delicious and tender. Friendly atmosphere. Clean.

They appreciate the Veterans. Time and time again they have allowed us when we come for Veterans Day special. The owner has a very big heart for military Veterans group and we (a veteran group that I joined) have done fundraising here on holidays. They vibe is fresh, clean and friendly. It feels like home and the food is top of its class.

Service - Came in the manager had to take our drink order since the waitress was busy. Ordered the special rose margarita to find out they didnt have anymore. Later about 10-15 minutes or so go by without help, and had to flag someone else to finally take our order. By the time we got our food the kids fell sleep and didnt want to eat at that timePrices - The norm for a place like this.Food - Food is avg.Venue - It makes you feel like any other applebees, tgif style type of establishment.Parking - Its really bad here on weekends with so many different businesses around.Overall disappointed on service as it hasnt been like that before, and really enjoy sometimes coming to chill at the bar area.

Food came pretty quickly and tasted fresh. The lunch special chicken wrap is folded up awkwardly so its hard to hold without everything falling out the other end, but it was delicious. Love the oriental chicken salad, also on the lunch special.
