The Kabob platters and wraps never disappoint, whether its lamb pork chicken or beef its all seasoned and grilled perfectly. The portions are always filling. Love finding the specialty items like lavosh and stuffed grape leaves at this market. Also love that its family-owned.

Delicious food and friendly family owned restaurant/market. I highly recommend the Sochi style Cheese Bread, Bulgur pilaf, and Chicken Shish Plate with some garlic sauce. Everything else Ive gotten here is also great. I like to call in my order to avoid a wait. Usually also like to pick up some Labne from the market to eat with pita chips. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

I usually shop at another Mediterranean store on Shaw, but they were closed for remodeling the store. I then googled the nearest Mediterranean market near me and the closest one to us at the time while driving was Ararat Market.First, I want to say how clean and organized the store was. The owner was kind and friendly. The lady at the cash register was very polite and friendly, I happened to be at the front counter for her to check out my items. There was a lady who happened to walk in and had grabbed two jars of grape leaves and spoke to the lady at the front in Aremnian. They were conversing back and forth while I was waiting for my items to be checked out. (Mind you, there was also another customer behind me) The lady at the front grabs her (the lady that had walked in) credit card and checks her out before me. Now, I didnt say anything, but my husband kindly and respectfully asked the cashier that we were at the counter first to check out items and all she could say was Sorry, I didnt mean to offend you! It was a teachable moment, so he explained to her it is the principle Maam! Of course, the cashier and the other lady she was helping was having a quick dialogue. The lady that walked in to grab those quick items didnt even ask if she could quickly check out her items nor did the cahier ask Would you mind if I check out her items? I only had one more item than the other lady. I would have gladly done so, but they did anyway. The moral of this situation is to Do unto others as you would have others do unto you! I definitley will visit again because there are some other products I wanted to check out. I will gladly visit again. I love to support local businesses!I also snapped a photo of the prices of the following products and will compare to other Mediterranean markets for those customers that like to compare prices.Shalom!Gina

All I have to say is WOW! The food was good. Coming from Los Angeles and being exposed to a diverse selection of Mediterranean restaurants, I have to say that this place is delicious and authentic! It is not a sit-down restaurant at all. Only take-out. The wait is about 10-15 min when you place an order. There is no where to sit, and its a tiny market. The market itself sells items such as their garlic sauce and hummus (fresh). Along with pastries, deli, and items you can buy home to make your dishes. The combo plates do not come with hummus. You get your protein, salad, rice pilaf and garlic sauce. Although I believe you can sub the garlic sauce for hummus, but I like both and had to pay extra for a container of hummus which was way too much for my dish. There was plenty to save if you would like to use it for chips.

Found some great german lunch meats. Found my new butcher. The nice man, I assume the owner,sliced my deli meat to perfection.Great service, and the young lady ringing me up is very sweet and polite.I will return. Cute little grocery store.

Ordered a chicken and beef Lula kebab plate with rice, garlic sauce and salad which had no flavor at all!But the worst part was the menu picture showed 2 kebabs, and clearly, they cut one in half to make two. The cost was $25!!! SMHI usually take photos but this time I didnt. Not worthy.

There is a reason that there are so many great reviews for this place. The selection is great, the food is delicious, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and above all the staff is amazingly helpful and polite. In the likely event that you cant read a label they are more than happy to translate, tell you what flavor and consistency, compare it to other foods, and give you suggestions. I discovered this place by accident and I now come by quite a bit. My only complaint is that they need a bigger building because when it gets busy there is barely standing room (but they move fast to get everyone checked out).

The owners are so friendly and welcoming. It is a very small store but to have to say they have a good selection of items. This place is my go to when I want to make a Mediterranean dish.This is my first time ordering food from here and I have to say its some of the best Mediterranean food Ive had in a long time. I would recommend going here, lamb was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Chicken wasnt dry, very tasty. Their garlic dip and hummus were pretty great. Will definitely order again.

Ordered 4 large trays of pilaf for an event for 150 and everyone was impressed. It would probably feed 200 as a side dish, portion sizes for these trays are very generous. Picked it up on a Saturday for a Sunday event. The cashier/owner gave me thorough instructions on how to reheat for my event. Using her instructions the rice still tasted fresh and delicious. Definitely will order from them again.

This place is delicious!!! Everything about it. Their rice pilaf and bulgar rice is also soft fresh and fluffy. Their yogurt is one of my favorites. Chicken, Lamb, and Beef amazing. Their hummus is one of my top favorites. Not to mention the staff is extremely welcoming and so helpful. Their customer service is impeccable. Love you guys 💕

Very friendly and family-like atmosphere. Chicken was delicious, rice could have been seasoned more, and the garlic sauce was very thick - almost like a sour cream consistency. The food wasnt bad, but it wasnt great although the presentation was favorable. This place is also a market - the babaghanoush was very good!

My boss introduced me to this place recently and Id have to say its a new favorite. My favorite is the beef and chicken kabob plate. This comes with 3 pieces of chicken & 3 pieces of beef, rice, 3 pieces of pita bread, a little side salad and their garlic sauce! Everything is delicious! You wouldnt think this place was so good by the outside of building, but looks can be deceiving! Their sochi cheese bread is wonderful and so is their spicy hummus. Plus the owners are so sweet and polite! Everything is made fresh so expect at least a 20min wait for your order. You wont be disappointed!

I ordered the chicken kabob and rice pilaf. It is the best chicken kabob I have had in the Fresno/Clovis area. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful. The pilaf was very good. It also came with a pita bread.Now lets talk about the garlic sauce! It is AMAZING! We also picked up hummus and pita chips. Seriously there is not one thing that was not first rate.I highly recommend this place if you are looking for the real deal.

Good and small shop for quickly grab and go stuff. They have exotic foods and goods here from Iran to Armenia. Mediterranean, middle Eastern, Russian you name it. Owners/cashiers are really nice at this location eventough this place is so small and maybe they dont always have what i want Ill always come back just because they are nice. I used to go to the other Armenian supermarket at shaw and first but stopped because they are rude and unfrindly.

I cant wait to come back to this place. Everything was delicious. They make most items in house, and what they dont they get almost every day. I noticed some items (especially the lahmajoun) was bought in from Ninas bakery in Fresno, a place I NEED to try. This is the most incredible market/deli in Clovis/Fresno! All the menu items are wonderful - we order take-out for lunch at least once every week - then when we pick it up we can gather fresh breads, cheese and produce to take home.
