Hands down, this place serves the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I’ve tried numerous dishes here, including the Thai samosa, spicy basil fried rice, pad Thai, yellow curry, and red curry. I appreciate how they strike a perfect balance, avoiding excessive sweetness while incorporating a subtle blend of spices that truly enhance the flavors.

Wonderful casual place to have great food with family. Always fresh and fast service. Great for lunch or dinner with the whole family. They make the best Tum Yume soup. We also like their mango salad ( my kids favorite).Very friendly with children.

One of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. Food was too good and I forgot to get pictures of it but we got the Tom ka soup, papaya salad, and kra pa wok entree. The flavors were phenomenal, especially the wok dinner. We got mango sticky rice for dessert which was also great. The rice is extra though.

Solid Thai place offering tasty curries, fried noodle and wok dishes. Portions are generous and staff was attentive and friendly. We had the Yellow Curry and Ginger Wok and both were great.Youll need to order rice extra, they offer jasmine, brown and sticky rice.On a Sunday around 1230 we were the only customers. Not the best outdoor seating (especially compared to the restaurants next door) but indoors its cozy.

Lovely, cozy establishment with great food and vibes. No wonder Robin Williams took a picture with the chef (theres a display on the front desk)! Food was absolutely on point, and the service was prompt and kind! Pad kra pow was the best Ive had so far!

Delicious food, delicious chili pastes/powders, very friendly service, and significantly lower-priced than the other Thai restaurant a block away that also serves solid food but is slightly worse in every way. If you’re trying to decide between them, pick Arawan.

The food was delicious and the portions very generous. After being in SF most of the time on our trip, this was a welcome rest from the hustle and bustle.The yellow curry was savory. The Pad See Ew tasty as well.A locals favorite with awesome decor.

We ordered Pad kee-mow and spicy green beans from the wok. The spicy green beans were just out of the world tasty, loved it, we replaced the mushrooms with the broccoli which made it even better . Pad kee-mow was Good too. The waiting time was too long because the whole staff was busy with one large group but once they gave us the table, everything was super quick. Their Thai iced tea was not that great which was sad.

This is the place to go if you arrive to Sausalito, and you find out that in your casual attire, you cannot enter any other eatery. We have tried the tea leaf salad - never had something like that. We also tried the sizzling eel sizzling, delicious. I also ordered the ginger tea, this one was on the sweet side.The service was pretty fast. One of the servers told us they had been around for a long time: 10 to 15 years! Incredible...As for the patrons, it seems that this place draws everyone who is not dressed to enter any other restaurants in the area. This time, it worked for us!

Been coming here for over a decade and by far the best Thai Ive ever eaten. I highly recommend the Thai samosas and the drunken noodle, although you really cant make a bad choice here.. Plus they have outdoor and indoor seating

The Thai food here is exceptional. Incredibly tasty, rich variety of flavors, and not sweet like many other Thai places. The curries are fabulous, my personal favorite is the soft shell crab curry which is divine. Ive eaten in many Thai restaurants here and in Thailand and this is by far my favorite place. Dont hesitate to eat or order out from here

This place is pretty good. Its one of those places that my wife and I visited and we say next time were in the area lets eat here. Thats because the food was magical and off the charts. We drop in about every six months to give you an idea of frequency. Last meal was a 7 out of 10 instead of an 11 but could have been a fluke. Next time were there Ill change the rating depending upon what we find.

We love this place for lunch because they have a great lunch combo, for something like $13-14. Its like a Thai bento box. All the food Ive tried here has been good, and my coworkers have always been pleased with their choices as well. Definitely recommend Arawan!

I love this authentic neighborhood thai restaurant. The staff is friendly, service is great and this is is my go to for Thai food in Sausalito! I love their fried rice, and fresh spring rolls! If you’re visiting, def check this place out!
