I know inflation is in but shrinkflation is absurd here, I paid 35 dollars for a bowl of soup, an order of beef broccoli and steamed rice. This square of rice is an insult, I won’t even go on with this, or return here for that matter.

This is traditional, Mexican style, Chinese Food. It was fusion food before there even was a fusion category. Let me clarify, it is a Chinese Food restaurant and you will experience traditional Chinese dishes that are great, but Arizonas adds a Mexican flair that is noticeable, yet respectful of the Chinese culinary arts.It has the best War wonton Soup in all SD County. I said what I said.

A friend of mine told me that this restaurant served churritos (instead of the wonton fried strips with the tangy and sweet dipping sauce) and I was sold on coming here. I grew up going to Chinese restaurants that served churritos as the appraiser so I was especially excited to visit this place because of it. The food, DELICIOUS. Its not very greasy and the portions are great. The rice is fluffy and perfectly made. The people are super nice and attentive and the overall place seemed really clean. Our server came in to check on us several time, I wish I would have asked her for her name because she was great. I highly recommend this place!

Joined my family for some early lunch and everyone enjoyed their meal.I had the duck soup. I found it to be good, even though it had very little meat. Cost me around $15My parents and brothers had one #3, and it was enough for all three of them. They still had a lot of food left over.Also found restroom to be very neat and clean

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for many years. Finally went yesterday 04/22/23 and welp all I can say as at least I know better than to go back for seconds. The food is less than quality, the egg rolls tasted like black licorice. I guess if you like black licorice then that would be a good thing. Last night when I got into bed I could still taste it, yuck had to drink a 7-up. Needless to say I was very disappointed.

The worst egg rolls ever. They were fried almost burned and drenched in oil. I let the waitress know in a friendly way and she got upset. Im not a picky eater but this egg rolls made me nauseous. No one in our party ate the egg rolls. Ive been coming here for almost 30 years and never had I complained about food but today those egg rolls were really, really bad tasting. I spoke to the manager and he seemed indifferent. He said the egg rolls are made as always and couldnt do anything about it. It made me kind of upset the way he handled the situation like I said weve been coming here for at least 30 years and he couldnt offer to change them for something else or at least an apology. I wouldve been ok with an apology.

Its a hole in the wall. Its probably not authentic Chinese food. But you know what??!! I love it. Big portions where you can take the leftovers home. If I had to ding them for something. No free refills, which sucks. But oh well.. the bbq pork is awesome, the broccoli beef is ok. I love the sauce from the broccoli beef. Its just good cheap Chinese food.

It is difficult to write a review of a restaurant that offers good food and superb service yet lacks cleanliness. This place is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago, nothing really has changed in its decor. Sadly the floors were sticky, you could hear my footsteps, the bathrooms are outdated and smell very bad. I am saddened but clearly the owners dont care? Everything mentioned is in plain sight, sadly I will not be returning.

Okay prices, okay service, okay flavor. Nothing great about it. We were still enjoying our meal and had just ordered a couple more drinks when they brought the check so that felt a little rude like trying to rush us to get out of there. Im not returning because there was nothing memorable nor exceptional about it. There are better Chinese food restaurants in Chula Vista. Also I think the pork was not cooked on the same day, it was a little stiff on the edges and brown, it tasted old.

Visited this place thinking lets try somewhere different. Big mistake! I ordered sweet and sour chicken and rice to be shared between me and my lil one. Pretty basic item for a Chinese restaurant to make. It was merely OK. The sauce was kind of pasty and the chicken while it had been tossed in the sauce still offered no flavor.My husband had the orange chicken which had the same issue except his sauce had a mettalic strange taste to it and the chicken was horrible. He asked the waitress for and exchange which she was nice to comply and brought him sweet and sour wings. Again the breaded wing had no flavor and relied totally on the red paste sauce to add the flavor. Other Patrons seemed to enjoy there portions and they do give a whooping mound of food. But for us it was nothing but plates of utter disappointment!

We paid 50$ dollars for food poisoning I called to report the raw chicken 🐔 it was old and raw please be safe eating here. Its been a while since my wife and I have eaten here. The place looks very much the same as it did a few years ago. The food is ok, the beef lo mein was good, the salt and pepper wings were bland. There was only one server and she did a good job. It will be a while before we decide to go back. Maybe a few years... this place has been open since I was a kid, I think it will be around for a while might even bring my grandkids some day.

I love the taste of the Chinese food here. It:s very delicious. Every Chinese restaurant seems to have thier own spin on the dishes, you know what I mean if you eat out at different Chinese restaurants. I also like that they have family dinner combinations with big portions. It was a cloudy day today so I ordered the Gizzard with Napa Cabbage soup. Tip ask for the extra side of broth. Its only $1.50 extra and worth it.

Food is NOT satisfactional. Taste is off. I ordered spicy shrimp, and portion is okay. You get an additional plate of rice which is good. But the food taste not all their. One of the guys who serves, has a strong wierd vibe making it uncomfortable to eat at peace. I reccomend ying li right next door. You get more food, with better taste. Sorry not sorry.

Its been a while since I was here and before I would give it a 5 star rating but had a bad experience, the food was not good... the only good thing was sadly the fortune cookie they gave me at the end. The Soda tasted as if it was out of date, the soup no flavor, the rice tasteless, the Chinese chorizo too much salt....the fried noodles old.... hope they improve theyre food asap.... the service was ok the only thing saving them from me giving them a 1 star rating.

We need more water please. Chicken mushroom soup was A BiG No No for us, it smells and taste weird. They used canned water chestnuts and canned young corns, but they might be not rinsed with fresh water before added to the soup. The best for me was salt and pepper chick wings. The food is okay, but it tends to be overly seasoned... just very salty. Stay away from the bbq pork, its dry, very dry. The cantonese rice and chicken are your best bet. There are no refills on drinks and it seems like they charge you for every little thing you order so check your bill.

Been a customer over 40 years since the family still had the establishment in Tijuana in the 70s. Then they relocated to Chula Vista in the early 80s. Flavors are consistently delicious. My only issue is they do need a big renovation rather than the touch ups they have done.

Ok my family has been coming here for years, my parents & in laws like it a lot. Me well Im ok with it, its hit or miss. Ive had better. Its basically Mexican Chinese food. There family meals portions are pretty big & will feed a family of 5 & there rice is good & there Chop Chuy I enjoy. And its clean inside. Everything else is just decent nothing special. If your on a budget Its a good place to go I guess if your near bye & you got a big family to feed, cuz there prices are affordable.I usually come here to bring my in laws food or when I take my parents out to eat cuz they like it. As for me, to be honest I rather eat Panda Express for Chinese food then come here at least they give free refills on drinks at Panda Express cuz they dont here which is weak.

Had been over a year since we ate here. We asked about food coloring added to food, because my husband has severe allergy was told sauces may have color. But was assured other food didnt have food coloring.We ordered suaces separate, ordered the usual order . unfortunately my hasband had a severe allergic reaction requiring emergency care and hopitalization. I really hope this reasturant takes any type of allergy serious before they say they dont use food coloring. This allergies are life threatening. So ultimately we will never eat here again.

Although this place has been a bit of a let down most recently it has easily provided some of the best chinese food here in SD. The prices are more than fair for the amount and quality of the food. The wonton soup is the only thing worth ordering, everything else is flavorless. Youre honestly better off going to panda express, or any Chinese food restarting in National City (i.e. Royal Mandrin, Panda Palace etc.). If you speak Spanish you will have a better/faster experience, otherwise your entrees will come out over a 30 min window.
